Hi all,
New here. Just purchased a Note III from a T-Mobile store and the rep said they didn't have any T-Mobile branded devices left and gave me an unbranded international version. The model number is SM-N900. Can someone give me guidance on which of the brand forums I should be frequenting? I'm assuming that the T-Mobile Note 3 forum is now inapplicable to me. Should I just be in this general forum and pay attention to the model # when doing anything to my device?
Thanks in advance!
Ok so this sound really weird
What u need to do is install CPU Z from play and in system check which processor u have if its Qualcomm 800 u are good and u can flash anyrom from any thread here except N900. So n9005/n90w8/n900t anything that has number othere then 0 or letter in the end.
Now if your cpu will say Exynos then u can only instal ROMS for N900 , as its a different chip and wont work, or brick.
The CPU is what makes the difference, u can be in any forum att or rogers does not matter, I have rogers and using t-mobile rom. The rom does not affect carrier its still locked to your carrier unless u unlock it.

See there
Question for OP but where did you get this phone from, which state or country? It seems really weird they would give you an international phone.
You have the Exynos model number with the Snapdragon CPU... Seems fishy.
Are you in the US?

I live in NYC. I got the phone from a T-Mobile authorized retailer (not a T-Mobile store), and they said they ran out of the T-Mobile branded ones and that I could wait until next week, or just take the unbranded version.
My CPU-Z profile says the model is the SM-N900 (ha3gxx) and the CPU is ARM Cortex-A15.

sorry one more question would the one region lock once its activated?
If region lock, U can use region lockaway though. Chainfire has the thread.
From what I know,
If u buy international unlock version n9005, there shld not be any lock.
Do you guys know what version the tmobile version of the note 3 is?
also would be use able for china?
i am ask for somebody
The other thing you need to worry about is what frequencies your network in the US uses.... N9005 might be locked in at 3G speeds due to it being set up for international bands but US using different ones... Means no LTE/4G...

Simply check what model your local carrier(s) uses. There are many apps to identify which processor you have. Most S5's use Qualcomm, so if you are anywhere other the middle east or perhaps some areas of Japan or Korea, you will have a Qualcomm processor. The 900H model uses Exynos, other models e.g. 900A, 900D, 900F, 900P, 900S, 900T, 900V, 900W8, SC-04F, et cetera are Qualcomm.
There is a lot more support for Qualcomm models. There is a lot of useful information in existing threads. A perusal or search of the forum would have answered all of your questions and a lot more.
.
It is a Qualcomm device.
Install CPU-z and see.
Thanks
That x version is display model.
Its a demo device (hence the 900X) and its probably not covered by warranty. It takes some time and effort to get it working too mate, here is a thread for your device http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2733083&goto=newpost.
Hi everyone,
I wish to know what model of the note 4 comes to international market.
Exynos or Snapdragon?
I like to try an octa core this time.
I'm from portugal to be exact.
thanks in advance
I am from Germany an i hope the International Versions have the Exynos too.
From experience you want the snapdragon.
Trying to understand the difference between the SM-N910F vs SM-N910C vs SM-N910U.
The 910C and 910U are Exynos. But what about the 910F?
The 910F is the one Samsung lists on their UK store, which I get redirected to even though I am in South America. But it isn't clear if it's Snapdragon or Exynos and I haven't found an official Samsung page that confirms the LTE frequency bands.
I have n910F from Ireland it is the same as in UK so snapdragon

Hello,
U can see some of Benchmark here
And also to see Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Model Numbers please go here
Try downloading CPU-Z from Play Store, you can see the detail of your Phone
Why not read more before ask? I'm pretty sure Google can gives you an answer in details.....
From what I read from Hong Kong Samsung official website, it does says the LTE frequency bands, but not very sure the others.
Here's the post for you http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/general/galaxy-note-4-versions-cpu-t2883741
does the sm-n910u support lte in canada (rogers)
Is Samsung lying in South America?
They are selling SM-N910C which is Exynos and they are also saying it charges faster when we all know it's a Qualcomm feature....
Does Exynos provide fast charging too?
Can someone clarify this?

It is not a Qualcomm feature as they want all to think. Exynos model also has this feature.

Hello guys
I am in the UK and looking into replacing my Note 3 with the Octa core version of the note 4.
Do you guys have any experience with both the 910F and the 910C versions so you can give me some advice? Is the Octa Core version alot faster than the quad core? camera sensor quality differences?
I always root my devices but i am not intending to run any custom rom on the Note 4 as i was always happy with the stock Samsung ROMs. In terms of region lock, does the 910C come region locked to a certain part of the world or will it work here in the UK straight out of the box? I am also intending to use other international simcards so presumably if i root it and run "regionlock away" it should be able to remove region restrictions???
So far i only found a few units of the 910C versions sold on eBay. Do you know any other online shops that sell it here in the UK?
Many thanks in advance!
SM-N910C working in the UK??!

I have the same question! I have ordered the Exynos version of the Note 4 recently and I'm starting to think it won't work on the 4G LTE here in the UK but I want to know if it will work at all
All these questions are answered in the general section of the note 4 forum. I used to hate it when people would reply angrily to questions by telling the people asking the questions to search in a rude manner, but I can understand why they do it lol. I'm not telling you to search in a rude manner though lol but omg, the same questions are asked over and over.
The only eynos version that'll work on every UK 4g network is the N910C version. The snapdragon n910f is good but the exynos is better, better with overall snappiness, in games, and better sound quality too, I've had both versions
N910U is exynos cat6 while N910C is cat4. The U and C versions are somewhat international exynos. There's also korean only exynos versions, they end with the letters S, K and L, all these 3 versions are cat6 too.
Then there's a 3g only version n910H, Samsung couldn't have made this note 4 release any more confusing if they tried, cause there are even more versions out there! Hope you enjoy your notes
Get the 'f' Version. There's more development support for Snapdragon. Virtually all North Americans have the SD version as well as the world. Try sourcing your Note 4 from Handtec, not that I endorse them.

The IR blaster on the 910C works intermittently, meaning sometimes it works fine for a few minutes then stops. There are several reports of this in the IR threads.
Is there any direct compassion of 910C vs 910F regarding camera quality? i know its same sensor, but i wonder does the 5433 has the same ISP abilities.
