Hi guys
I'm currently on 3 UK using 4.3 PACman and the latest international modem. I want to unlock my S4 and plan to use the service menu method. What is the best radio and ROM to do this? I am aware you need to use an older radio, but do you also need to use a 4.2 TW ROM, and if so, which?
Thanks
Bump!

how do i know which custom roms are compatible with my phone i have the samsung galaxy note 3 and i want to know if i download a zip file for a custom rom does the baseband version have to be the same as mine. Or does it only have to have the same Android version. I would be grateful if anyone can help me. Thanks.

Can't tell you exactly but it depends on custom rom.
The safe approach is getting to know the correct info about your device (using 'Phone INFO ★Samsung★' app), and then search for a right rom or you can ask in the developer's thread if it is compatible for your device.

Easy.
1) Where did you download your rom?
2) At what thread?
3) Does it mention for your phone model ex N9005 or others?
4) At the thread you downloaded the rom again, there are search button and use it to find either it can be use on your phone or not.

Is this rom compatible with my samsung galaxy note 3 sm n9005.
Hi guys, i have Note 4 version SM-N910H . Currently i am using this rom - N910C Exynos Dr.Ketan Custom ROM V1
But i would like to find out which other rom is suitable for my device which is updated regularly . I do not have much information yet in my phone so it will be easy for me to change the rom now if you guys assist me by telling me which one will be best
I'm using Sweet ROM without problems on my N910H. He also has the kernel and modem separately in his thread for our device.
I think you can also use Waman's ROM without problems.
Any N910C should work, as long as it doesn't include the modem, as that's where our devices differ.

Hello there, I flashed my S3 Neo with an unofficial ROM so I could see how good is Lolipop 5.0, but I didn't like it so much, so I wanted to revert back to my stock ROM which is Android 4.4.2. My question is, does the Baseband version matters? My phone baseband version is I9301IXXUANI2 but when I went to the Samsung Updates site where I could find my ROM, there was only I9301IXXUANI1 versions, no I9301IXXUANI2. If I try to use that version from the site, would my phone get bricked?
Sorry for my bad english.
no it doesn't matter !
at least from what i know !
i did installed different baseband version to my phone and nothing happened everything works fine !
just be sure its for ur phone which is i9301i !
good luck

Nothing is matter. Baseband or region has no impact. That's what i know. Go to sammobile.com and download any baseband version firmware and flash it through odin. Just remember one thing that firmware should be for your exact model.
Thanks all for your help

You are welcome. And may be your service providers have some restrictions so try to download a firmware for your country or which is for your neighbour countries. And there will be no problems. I am not from Europe and i have tried firmwares of European countries.
Thanks all for your help, but is there any alternative of samsung-updates .com ? Their download links are the worse thing I ever seen in my life, I takes me 4h to download at a limited speed and the download failed once.

Hello
My Galaxy Note 4 is SM-N910W8 (canadian)
I heard that N910w8 and N910F have same hardware, thats why N910w8 can be flashed to N910F right ?
Will be there any problems ?
What do you think guys?
Why I want to flash it to N910F ?
because the N910w8 have only a few system languages, what I need is a russian langue and I know the N910F has it

You can only flash custom rom from n910f with datafix and custom kernel supported for your model in order to do this you have to root your device and it will trigger knox 0×1.
If you flash through odin n910f firmware it will fail because models are different.
Maybe there is a way to only add a Russian language pack for the system ?
The version I have is 6.0.1

No you cannot add languages that easy there is lot of work to do.
If you have rooted phone with xposed framework installed you can Try "language enabler" module from xposed downloads maybe it will work.
Or you can try any N910F rom with datafix and kernel for your model it will work very well with all languages supported.
I am running dr.ketan m6 s7edge rom on N910T T- mobile note 4 with datafix and kernel and it has all the languages.
Yes , the device is rooted and I tried the app Language Enabler, and it didn't worked, it seems like I just don't have the languages pre installed.
If the only way is to flash for a n910F + datafix
Can you please give me an advice which ROM to download? There are a lot, Dr ketans seems to be nice.
But I'm.not sure which one is good for me.
I use a lot the S Pen , and the applications for the S Pen are very useful for me.
Thanks

Dr ketan m6 s7 port and m12 note 7 port are best it depends which 1 you like note 7 or s7 look they both support s.pen and all languages but fingerprint reader on lockscreen will not work.
In download section you will find a datafix file for all models.
Thank you very much, you helped me a lot ! Have a good day!
