The version of the movie was also from a can the highest quality of the movie that's out right now
Breaking bad is on Netflix in 4k. Wonder how long it'll be before the app will support it.

That's good to hear YouTube on this stop doesn't support the 4k tech? And I've been watching the breaking bad binge marathon every Sunday

You realize you can't show off the quality of the display via a screen shot. This needs to be experienced first hand.
To my untrained eye the panel on my G3 looks good in general , too bad for the sharpening though which is noticeable in some cases.
Web video looks good in general, but I won't go as far as to say that a 1080p display would be very bad (thinking about the G2 for example). The best content on this phone was content that shipped (the sample videos) and I copied a random 4K sample on it for kicks.

I realize that but I was showing the quality of a cam downloaded video with the first screen shot because it's so crisp

Just wanted to seem some of the shots you have taken with the camera... since it has a flash and 5mp, wanted to see if it really is an improvement.
Took this one last night of a girl in my AP2 class... not to bad for a cell phone

Qik is fine for what it is but the video isn't anywhere near as good as just using the camcorder function on the camera.

Standard, always.
Dynamic is too rich for me. Movie is, poor.
I actually prefer movie, apart from when I watch a movie, when I change to standard... Retarded right?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
I use Dynamic. It's like a constant live HDR mode. This is the single reason why I return to stock each time I try a new CM7 nightly.
Movie. Switched to Standard for a day and got poor battery life so I put it back onto movie. Standard is a lot nicer picture though.
Dynamic!! The colours in dynamic mode make my eyes have orgasm. Yeah, I cry from happiness. PP
Dynamic has too much contrast, you will loose a lot of detail in shadows.
Standard, Dynamic offers too much saturation for my taste.
Dynamic ftw, specially if u have a screen protector on, they kinda level out one another

ditto.......
Movie is best. The other two are harsh and over saturated.
I am using standard, never played around with it really.
Used Standard for now but will try movie to see how much difference there is in battery life.
Dynamic is plain folly to use unless you have a very bad eye sight already.

Come on, it looks ok! I'd give it 7-8/10
It's clear and quite smooth, around 27/28fps, far better than it was before...
Was that with the BRAVIA engine on?
How do we know this was recorded using a Xperia Play?
Does it have option to record in 480p too?
Could you do a video example of the same thing in 480p and 720p to see how it improved?
How is it light compared to real life? We don't have the Exmor sensor
Hey,any improvementis good improvement.it looked quite crispy

Oh and just a hint, to embed a youtube video on the forum just just the video id (in your case its 96EocxqNVGs) and put youtube quotes around it
(YOUTUBE)96EocxqNVGs(/YOUTUBE)
Use square brackets though.

I think its still the same, here's a clip from the last vid I recorded from my 2.3.3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16w8pVOwG2o
On my free time I'll try to upload some vid with some of my fighting *****..
Ok, I'll take a video of something tomorrow in 480p and then 720p, and I'll edit them in side by side, and see what everyone thinks.
@Miles Wolf This was recorded on my Xperia Play, as I stated earlier...don't see why I would fake it?
not much difference from the old 480p with regards to picture quality and fps, though the increased resolution is something!
Awwww, how cute the dogs are.
Nice, buy they didn't change the interface of the camera, right?
But, is great
Your video is featured on one of the Engadget articles.,

Just one quick question, did you loose root?
So in this video I used a tripod which took some amazing video. But I also took 4k video while driving (I was not driving) and the camera did a good job at keeping a still video. There was still a lot of movement but it shows less in the video then there actually was. I captured mainly movement to see how the camera could keep up with it.
You can watch the video here:

I thought that the OIS actually takes over solo. The software optimization for it does not work but the actual hardware OIS works in that modeZ? maybe im wrong

I took about 10 minutes in total of video. Had battery saver off and used the phone to the max that whole day. Came out with about 4 hours of on screen time. Brightness at about 40%.

Correct, OIS is always on regardless, but EIS disables with 4K and 60fps modes.
Ois is always on guys it's a hardware not a software only the software stabilization doesn't work.... ois always on and u can see the lens move as soon as u begin recording

I noticed it was kicking in when I was in the car. Seemed move steady then what I thought it should be. The road was a bit more bumpy than it looked.
wow. Its good.

360-degree videos work really well on the S6.
Side note, "YouTube now supports a search filter for 360-degree videos". The filter apparently rolled out today on web and mobile.

Cool
Wow... didn't know you could view 360 video by just moving around phone. Nice... Thanks
That is super cool!!
Yup!
Imagine watching these on the Samsung VR Headgear
Too bad the video quality looks like 480p on all of these. I can't watch anything less than 4k now... hurts the eyes seeing that low res crap.
OMG, this is super duper cool. AWESOME !!!

That's because it doesn't work on the Youtube app for iPhone. You need the Android app or to use Chrome.

I tried to look for more 360 videos using the youtube app (no new updates in Google Play), but mine unfortunately is just like this:

Same here, no option to filter 360.
Galaxy S5 stock.. working 360 movies as on S6.. nothing new here..
