Try update to XXUGNH7, If these update can't solve your problem use: Google Play Music

Not OP. But I fixed the same bug by updating it to the latest version available. i9505 international ed. If everything fails, try to flash stock.

Google Play Music has the same bug ,most likely the problem is not in the player ,it is firmware bug

I never had this problem on samsung player. It seems that your mp3/aac is invalid in some way. Maybe some data is corrupted...

Stock music player can't handle too many music rtists

I copied my music collection on to my phone (4,700 .m4a files which are eaac+ at 48kbits/s), which is about 350 albums with 1000+ artists. The stock music player plays them all fine and all the embedded album art and other metadata is all there. The only problem I get is when I select the 'artists' tab. I get a brief insufficient memory message, then the player closes itself.
Has anyone else seen this? Surely 1000+ artists shouldn't be a problem for a cutting edge superphone.
I'm thinking probably a bug that they've missed? Or it might just be to do with your firmware, what version are you using?

[Q] Aurora ICS Music player problem?

I tried v1.14/v2.0 and v2.02 but in every version there is lag, too much lag on music player. I installed almost every music app;poweramp, ics stock one,cm9 app and even 2.3 stock one but music player is laggy and while music is playing i cant even use the keyboard. Anybody to confirm this? or any solutions? And yes , i wiped everything for all 3 versions.

Bluetooth car stereo metadata after 4.3 upgrade

Hi All,
Since the 4.3 upgrade NO music player will reliably pass metadata information to my car stereo. If lucky I get the title etc of the first song but then that's it.Music plays fine and no issues there but the track/artise/album information is never updated. I've tried Poweramp, N7 player, GoneMad player and the Sony Walkman APK. However, the stock music player has no issues and works like a charm so It must be a software problem that stops the others from working with the new BT stack.
Does anyone have any idea what's causing this or how it can be fixed?
Thx
I have talked to Gonemad Dev and he says it is a 4.3 issue not his. The stock Samsung player passes title/track/artist/album just fine. Gonemad will do all but track. When it goes to next track, the HU will not update. It all worked fine before 4.3. Crazy Huh?? I was stock 4.1.2 on my Gal Note 2 and now i am stock 4.3

I just wish one of the developers would look at it and work out why this has changed. It's not like I can work out why the stock player works fine and all others do not.

Gonemad has released an update that for the most part fixed the BT Metadata issue. Metadata is now transmitted and changes track/s

Couldn't find one but the latest version is working better now EXCEPT for the first song in any folder. The metadata is never sent for the first song but for all others it seems OK.
Gonemad doesn't work for me. Is there a special setting required to make the Metadata work?
TIA

Try to re sync to your car. It works for me using a GNote2 .it is a systemic issue from Samsung with the 4.3 update. Their player works great just doesn't have lots of features. I love gonemad and talk to the dev all the time. Submit a bug report and tell him about this issue. He is very helpful.
