Turns out, that gpu drivers for nexus 5 are compatible with z1c - I run them for 2 weeks now on stock .108 rom/kernel and benchmark scores are higher and everything works great.

Nice But Its a developer preview release ,not for regular use .Lets wait for stable release.
Nexus devices are for mostly for development but not Xperia Devices
I tried this today. An app which crashes my phone after installing this was Twitch.tv app loading a stream. So I restored my backup.
That's strange - twitch works great for me, as you can see below.
And yeah, it's a preview, but nexus guys test it for us with no issues(read the thread) and our GPU is same as all asreno in the world, so it only depends on the right android and kernel version, that's why it was possible to cross-flash drivers from htc to sony on 2012 devices during 4.0 and 4.1, as sony is close to stock.

I tried this and after first reboot i had xperia home fc once and i noticed that in album video preview stop working fc. After restore everything back to normal. I didnt wipe anuthing after or before installation
Mine also fc after 1st reboot, but I wiped dalvik/cache and everything works. Maybe because of wipe - maybe old cache doesn't work with new drivers.

Wiping dalvik cache is necessary because the OS optimises applications against the underlying drivers, so when you replace them you also need to re-optimise the applications, otherwise they will be attempting to access the hardware in ways the drivers no longer provide. Another way is to uninstall the affected applications and re-install them, but the easiest and most effective way is simply to just clear dalvik cache and rebuild it.
I installed this gpu drivers and after that wiped cache and dalvik and still my album got fc i have z3 album video preview doesnt work. Ui fc disappeared. Maybe there is something wrong with my album i wipe app cache but still no luck
seems cause youtube app FC
flash and wipe dalvik cache in recovery

Have you tried wiping the cache and data on the play store app, probably worth uninstalling updates also. Just an added check, but might be worth flushing the dalvik cache also, sounds like it's retaining some settings.

It's weird it works ok on ics
How do I wipe dalvik cache ? I'm not rooted just on ics German release
I did a complete hard reset via menu not via home / vol up and power so my internal sd was wiped (did this on gb which I had the problem with)
Seems ics is ok but gb fails ?
Thanks in advance
If you're on lpy German, then I would suggest to let it lie. If you've done clear cache and clear data,.then don't perform any extra wipes.
usually this kinda thing points to settings applied in the dalvik, think you need cwm to wipe that, or in the play store app itself. If you've cleared that then I'm out of ideas.

This wasn't happening yesterday. Every morning I reboot my phone when j remove from the Wireless charger to prevent the wireless charger wakelock.
This morning however I notice that everytime I reboot I get the Android is upgrading message as if I just performed a OTA.
The phone finishes the upgrade and looks and acts fine bit if I reboot again it does it again.
Anyone else experience this before? Its still happening if I reboot everytime.

Clear cache and maybe load a new kernel maybe?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
if you didnt do it yourself, then its either an app, a mod, or the rom/kernel that youre running. whats happening is that your dalvik-cache is getting wiped then rebuilt on boot.
I'm on stock 4.2.2 rooted and running motley kernel. Have been running this setup for a month no and no issues and haven't installed any weird apps that could do this.
Doesn't make sense

I think it happens when you wipe davlik with apps disabled.
if it only pops up for a second or so, don't worry about it.
It was the beats audio root app (paid version) I noticed it would consistently say permission granted even when the phone was idle.
Uninstalled the drivers using the inapp uninstaller and now no more message when rebooting.
Anyone know why this app clears dalvik cache every reboot?

i use the beats+xlouder flashable mod, and it clears dalvik upon flashing. its nonsense that the app clears dalvik after a reboot, i definitely wouldnt be happy with it.

So how do you find out which application is the one that's wiping the cache?

sweet
Thank you for sharing what was the problem.
I have found fix for this error, it is mainly due to odex files which are created by lucky patcher so deleting these files using lucky patcher itself will surely remove this error with 50 percent success rate. Here's the fix; open lucky patcher, there in lower left section you can see Toolbox, click Toolbox button then select 4th last option i.e Remove all odex files. Thats it android will reboot on itself and vola no android is upgrading. .
Check out attachement for help.

Hello guys,
I have a Nexus 7 2013 which I've used to play around alot and it was my very first decent Android device.
Since I loved it so much, I traded my Windows Phone for an Android Phone and the choice was a 16GB Sim free Nexus 4.
Now I have been having a problem after flashing new custom Roms, and the problem is, after every boot I get greeted with a "System IUD's Inconsistent" error message and a bunch of app force close which leaves the device unusable until I restore everything back.
It only goes away after I boot into TWRP and click "Fix permissions" but as soon as I load another Rom up, the problem appears again until I do the TWRP thing again. Now, I know this isn't normal because it doesn't happen on my Nexus 7 so I guess there is a way to properly fix this issue. I've tried reflashing TWRP but the problem always comes up again.
Any advice?
Thanks
When you flash a rom do you do a clean install? I.e. wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik

Usually just do a factory reset. Do you think that might be the problem?

Yes, you need to wipe data or you'll run into a lot of force closures

Are you getting a force close error or is it just abruptly closing to the home screen without any errors?

The app just closes to the home screen everytime i open it and even when i dont open the app i get a notification on screen that the app has crashed, this happens so frequently that my phone is becoming near unusable. the app is completely unuseable. is their any way to fix this short of a factory reset or flashing a new rom?
You already tried to wipe its data, so I think the next step could be to reflash the ROM you are using.

You won't get answers, because nobody understands what you're saying. What's this? Which rom? Don't be bored when writing elsewhere you won't get help.
Anyway, let's say I understood you and I got time to help you. You mean the multitask when longpressing the home button which shows the recent apps? Reflash the rom, boy! (or redownload it, because maybe something went wrong in the download process, you never know)
