HI im very new to rooting and decided i wanted to try it because i wanted to get something close to stock android on my phone since im not the biggest fan of lg's skin and i love stock android. I rooted got a custom recovery installed and everything was going fine. than i was having problems getting any rom to actually instal. I was looking it up online and saw a couple threads saying to update the version of my recovery. So i did that and now i cant get into recovery it just sits at a black screen. Once its there i can restart the phone and get back to the normal phone but i want to get recovery back so i can continue trying to get a new ROM. Please help :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

Dear Forum,
Today I did the firmware update from 2.3.3 to 2.3.4. When that succeeded I decided it was time to install a custom ROM; CM7.
The rooting part actually succeeded. When I tried to install the ROM, I am guessing something failed.
Now the boot screen is stuck and it will only hang at the screen which has the yellow triangle and the text "Samsung Galaxy SII"
I tried going into CWM and restore my back up but it states that no files have been found. Does anyone know how I can sorta restore my phone? Which will make me get past the boot screen. I dont even want my old files and such, just want me phone working again
Kind Regards,
Me
1. This is a question, should be in Q&A
2. There's million on topics with the exact same thing, search a little before posting!
3. Flash CM7 again.. If that doesn't work, you can flash a new ROM with Odin..
Hi guys, here my friend and I are pretty new to G2 stuffs so forgive us if we did or ask anything stupid here. Right now we're kind of in trouble coz we can't get our G2 to even turn on now.
We bought the F-320L version, which was changed to D802 already when we purchased. We tried to get TWRP onto the device so that we can start having fun modding stuffs, but then this where we're stucked now.

We are totally clueless on the 1st and 2nd method so we chose to try the 3rd method.
After running Flashify, we selected Flashboot, and then that's it. The phone freezes since then, at the screen as attached image.

Now we can't go anywhere except this screen at all. Even unplugging the battery and inserting it back in, it will return to this screen.
We can still go into Download Mode, but we're so clueless now that we don't wanna try anything risky (yes, I know it's too late, but we're trying to fix it).
Can we have some kind of pointer here?
I don't even know I'm giving out enough information or not, so if you need any more information, please let us know here.
So i read off a guide how to get rooted from a chinese program etc. now i just want my phone squeeky clean just like how i bought it so i can follow a LEGIT guide on this forum to get ADB, root, TWRP or CWM and flashing roms working again. Iv never flashed one rom on this yet. If i download the stock LG G2 T MOBILE build and put it onto my phone. Will it remove the chinese super user/root off of it?
I can enter downloade mode so that is no problem.
Thanks again!
I just need my phone like it came from the manufacturer so I can start rooting knowing that there won't be issues in the future
Ok so i am not new to rooting and romming, new to this phone but not new to the concept, anyways.. Looking through roms i decided on Pac Rom (GSM Version) BTW yes i am rooted and have safestrap on the device.. i used safestrap and flashed this rom and rebooted to the samsung bootscreen and safestrap boot and after it goes black nothing but if i push the unlock on the side the touch butons at the bottom light up and if i use the volume rocker it will beep up and down like normal just no picture.. i reflashed, nothing, i flash a different rom.. now im bootlooping.. cant use odin (No com port access) so could someone help me out as to how i can get this phone back up and running.. can i have someones stock back up so i can flash it? i just need something.. Im New to XDA hope you all are as helpful and generus as my last site (Moved here because it had more for this new phone so far i like it) Thanks to everyone who trys to give me a hand
Hello everyone! I'm brand new to the forums so if I am breaking any rule or regulation, just give me a heads up. So, some basic information about my predicament.
- own a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 from Verizon.
- I use t-mobile network. Works great with no problems.
- phone was successfully rooted via towel root.
I was looking to get cynagenmod on the phone so I started looking up guides and such. Only thing I wasn't aware of was that carrier branded versions can't have their recovery flashed. That said, I used flashify and the clockwork apk. The app did its job, killed the stock recovery, but couldn't load the new one. Now the phone says error, no recovery when trying to access it during boot.
It should be said that the phone still boots and works normally but I really want to get the recovery working so I can at least try again the right way to get cynagenmod working.
My question is, is it possible to get my hands on the stock recovery for my phone and just flash it back to how it was? Basically, how do I fix this problem I put myself in. Of course, I didn't make backups. During the whole process, I figured "if I follow this tutorial word for word, why bother with backups?" look how wrong I was
Any help would be sincerely appreciated. I'm posting this from my replacement phone, not my note 3.
