Hi guys, my s5 won't download anything to internal or external memory, It only work when I root and install nextsd fix but my problem is I don't want my s5 rooted.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I've unrooted and installed latest btu UK firmware.
Download anything? Did you mean music, videos, pic .etc??
Then you can try UC browser.. It can download anything.. Try that..
Or did you mean anything else?
Had the same problem
I had the same problem. Had to use recovery to format both internal and external cards before I could use it.

Guys,
I accidentally deleted an important video on my S5 that i want to recover.
I have tried several recovery programs but nothing seems to find anything. I Tried Dr.Fone (didnt work), I tried Tenorshare Android Recovery didnt work.
When i try to connect with ADB i get connection closed. Since the S5 is new there is no root yet.
Can anyone help recover a video file on the S5?
Tied in linux and windows. No way to mount MTP as a drive. Cant get root. Cant adb.. Looks like its a lost cause. Any one?
Hi
So my boyfriend's phone is booked in for a service with Sammy this week (media server draining battery). But it's rooted so I am concerned they will say they won't repair/replace, and I won't be there to argue for him.
I've googled and can't seem to find a straight answer as everyone says something different (or maybe I just don't like the answers I'm finding... Ha)
Is there a way to unroot the i9505 without data loss for warranty?
(it is also likely I've just completed missed something. Feel free to point me to a thread or post on here I may have missed and call me blind )
Edit: running stock rom, CF rooted
Just reflash the stock firmware with Odin. Flashing firmwares with Odin never wipes your device, unless you select the option "re-partition".
And for the media drain, does he use an external sd card? If so, then format that sd card. That generally solves media drain issues. I think media drain is never a hardware problem, so I don't know why you even would send it in.
Did you try a factory reset?

Thanks! That's what I thought re Odin, but got confused by all the other info I saw. I'll just Triangle Away and then flash via Odin like I originally thought.
And no to an external Sd card. I think he just managed to get a faulty one.
Yep, tried factory reset.
I'm sorry if there is a thread for this because it's hard to tell what to search for.
I'm having problems that are exactly like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2576488
But that is a different model. It sounds like flashing those files fixed the issue.
Where could I find those file for L720? I have the bootloader with the knox.
Thank you in advanced
So I fixed the issue. Just in case anyone has the exact same issues as the link but the flash fails and didn't fix it.
I went into a custom recovery and formated everything I could except for my SD card in the advanced settings. Then I flashed stock everything through Odin.
Hi guys,
I recently bought this phone and it already had a problem on the last OTA update, a network trouble which didn't let the phone get the sim network working, so I flashed a firmware from here which was pre-rooted.
Everything is working fine, less the apps which everytime I install/uninstall causes the phone to restart almost EVERYTIME...
Plus the storage so poor (4GB) already full, I have Link2SD installed but I can't install directly on the SD, only on the phone storage, what is impossible already.
Hope somebody can help with this, i'm not a pro but neither a newbie.
Thanks.
Hi there, I recently moved from an old samsung phone to the huawei p10 and I made the rookie mistake of not
backing up my stock rom before rooting my phone. Now when I try to update my phone with the new firmware (I tried the partial update and full update file) they both did not work. I also tried the dload method since I have a micro SD card in my phone, but after doing more reading in the user manual it suggests that since my phone is rooted I will not be able to apply the update.
I was wondering if anyone knows where to get the stock rom for model WAS-L03T so I can fix this. Please and thanks
I have had a look around but can't find anything but, filmware finder might have it. Link to the playstore app below. They also have a PC version.
You will need to flash stock recovery to be able to flash stock filmware.

Hi there, thanks for responding, but I was wondering if it was possible to find a stock rom and not the stock firmware for my device.
I am able to download the firmware through my updater but applying the update is where I am having issues. :good:
