Hi guys, i spent alot of time figuring out how to get CM9 on my phone and finally i got version 0.3.2 from http://www.jokersax.com/developer-pages/jokersax/cyanogenmod-9-atrix/ installed. After doing so in CWM i restarted my device and my phone gets stuck in the boot animation screen. Any Idea how to get out of here?
Flash again with no wipe. Should work.

What do you mean no wipe?
Also I'm not sure how i can boot into CWM without clicking it from the app.
take battery out/in
restart phone, keeping volume down pressed in
keep on pressing volume down till you see android recovery
press volume up
wipe data
wipe cache
restart sytem and see if the phone boots up
if not repeat steps and install previolusly used? rom
Holding volume down just starts fastboot protocol for me. And hold up starts the RSD protocol.
EDIT: nvm i figured out how to get into recovery
Double EDIT: barry_ 's suggestion worked.
Hey guys, I'm coming from the m919 forum, but maybe you guys could help a brother from another mother(phone? lol) out...
My s4 has been acting very weird lately. The button combo (vol up+home+power) doesn't work for me. If i try it, it goes straight to download mode. I get no gs4 splash screen at all. Only way to boot into recovery is through goo manager. BUTTON COMBO DOES NOT WORK!
If I restart the phone through the power menu it only boots into download mode. If I turn off the phone through the power menu, it will turn off for a second, and then boot into download Mode as long as the battery is in. I press no buttons. Only way it reboots "regularly" is when I get into recovery through goo manager and selecting reboot system.
Only other way to boot the system is doing button combo for download mode and hitting cancel when the screen comes up.
I was advised to Odin back to stock, which I did. Problem is still there.
The phone did turn off and stay off for about an hour, then the download mode thing came back. This is driving me crazy.
Has ANYONE run into this problem? It can't be just me, my luck can't be that bad.
If it matters, I'm running rooted stock 4.2(MDL) with twrp v2.6.3.1 installed

I am rooted and had PhilZ recovery installed on the vs980. I wiped data, cache, and davlik to install a new rom, but the install failed. After the install failed I realized I had deleted my backups I had. When I went to reboot the phone said it could not find root and would attempt to root on its own or something of that matter. I am now stuck on the lg spash screen with the led blinking green/blue. I cannot boot into recovery or download mode by holding the volume+power buttons the phone just vibrates and turns off for a sec then right back to the lg screen. Can someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance
Yeah try booting into recovery but a little differently this time.. Turn the phone off, hold power and volume down to turn it on but keep holding it until it shuts off again. Then press power and volume down again until the LG logo appears. Release and press them again quickly like normal. This has worked for me in the past when I couldn't boot into recovery. Idk why but it did.. Give it a try

adb push ROM of choice.
I tried this with several batterys
but my s4 does not boot up the system nor the recovery nor the download
it shows the S4 logo and than does not boot further
when trying to boot the recovery it shows s4 logo and recory booting but than stops
while trying to boot up download mode it shows the download screen for half a second and than goes black
It only boots until the boot loop when i remove the battery and put it back, the power button has no use any more
what can I do
could be a hardware problem? but i have i sent it to warranty, they will find that i flashed the ROM

Hi
Mate check your power button ( also volume up and down) it may be stuck
i have the same problem with i9500
but all the buttons are clear no stuck button with me !!
I agree it could be your power button. Same thing happens to me sometimes.
It may not feel like it's stuck, but it is.
Put it on it's side w/the power button and gently keep tapping it on a flat hard surface. it should jolt the button loose and power on like normal.
Hi

How can Sidesync be helpful?
When you try to go in recovery mode keep pressed longer volume up and home, release power when screen is on. I had this issue and worked for me this way
