Why????????!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, have you even checked how development is going? We barely even have a recovery working and you come here and ask for a stock rom, and to top it off you post in the wrong section.

How do I get Froyo?

I feel kind of odd for asking this, but see, I am going on a long roadtrip Monday and the Boinix v 1.3 rom i was using the battery kept going dead so fast no matter how much i re-flashed it. So, I decided to use odin to get back to stalk and wiped all user data and cache and now I am stuck at stock 2.1 update 1.
How did you get Bionix on your phone in the first place?
Just look thru the stickies. It contains all the info you are looking for.

Wait, what? How the hell did I permit anything or ever exchange words with you EVER?
All of this talking, and not many answers.
Mini kies is what you used to get stock froyo, officially.
since you have root, I would backup, wipe, flash a new rom (trigger), and recalibrate your battery. All of which is in my signature.

Ty, I think I will do that because Trigger seems to be one of the best out there as of now.
Non -productive...
Why is the insulting and no-productive comment tolerated here. Te users should not make the decision of if the is the right place for a Question, but rather help and move along. There is a reason that there are forum moderators. I just wish that people knew their place, rather than try to be the forum police.
Glad the answer help, and I hope you have fun on your trip.

Lil harsh but I thanked you anyway but I was asking what's the best way because it looks like its more than 1 way to do it.
To be fair, you could've been flamed way worse than that!
Best way to root is to follow the guide you understand the most and seems the clearest, or to use one of the one click solutions. One way is rarely better than another, but some are easier. Either way, you need to do some reading and understand what you're doing.

WugFresh's Nexus Root Toolkit v1.5 was featured on XDA's frontpage, this could turn out to be the most used root tool for the Nexus 7

you tell me that the one is a section for those who want to develop a certain type of ROM (completely new), the other is for those who want to use "ready rom" (ready-made)?

its not "for a noob or not for a noob". either are good for a noob. its just an extra classification for the actual work. flash what you want to flash

[Q] Just Rooted My N4 What Next?

Hello X-da community stoned_pirate here and I guess I will gingerly call myself a developer. Well Im learning all about the develop process. So I just rooted my phone and it was a success. Watched a vid by mskip, boy does he simplify things a lot. So ive also installed goo manager I heard the name in the vid. So do I flash a kernel next or rom? Can I do this from goo manager? A simple break down of whats next would be kindly appreciated.
Thx,
SP

No real breakdown of whats next since thats up to you. May I suggest you go to wiki page for our phone or check any of the stickies in development or general and simply read up on your phone. Many choices for you! Quite a few roms and many more kernels, read up and see which ones you like
since you mentioned it. Flash rom first, Kernel second.
OK so I need to flash s ROM and then kernel. Will this allow me to utilize 4glte when possible? Also can I flash a ROM and kernel from goostore?

no. you need to do some modification first before you can use lte on tmobile or any other company that uses band 4 lte(not very common). look in the lte thread for instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2211618
btw, after reading this, i cant even gingerly call you a developer. first thing that you need to do is start reading up about whats available or even basic procedures. starting a thread asking people where to start will not do you any good.

[REF] "Android for the Nexus 4" 101 & FAQs
From my BLACKED OUT N4

The right rom

First of all I've tried to look for the answer, but I couldn't find it.
Or maybe I'm just very bad at searching using the phone.
I'm about to buy the phone here in Taiwan.
And I'm looking at the available roms at the moment, and I see 5 different forums.
Android original dev.
Verizon dev.
Att.dev
T mobile dev.
And android dev.
I'm a little bit confused.
Since I won't use the phone in America should I just look into android original dev forum? Not many roms are available there (yet? )
Thanks!
There arnt very many roms out for this phone period as of now... im pretty sure theyll pour out when the nexus 5 comes out tho so for then were just going to have to wait and deal with cm

So will I have to look into the android original dev and android dev forum only?
What model is it? 802?
Sent from my LG-D800 using Tapatalk
I'm not sure yet, I will buy it next week.
But it will be an Asian version since I'll buy it in Taiwan.
But I think it's the 802 yes
You can look in Android development or original android development for the 802 model as the other sections are for the US models
