No with OTA. STOCK OTA will give u updates for the STOCK ROM

Yes we are sure. .The Google edition has different partition and no you can't just repartition your s4 ... You'll Brick it just as quick. ... But if you don't belive us then go ahead and flash stock gpe rom onto your phone and see what happens...

firmware mk9 better than all custom roms

Hi to all. This is my experience. I tried almost every custom rom but now i am stock firmare mk9 and after root and freezing of all useless app i can tell my note is really much better. Very good battery and much free ram. Also really faster than before . On antutu i did 21647

The firmware is stock and is odexed i used bootloades mj5 from ditto n3 rom. It works perfectly and is knox free

can you please list the steps you followed ?

Recommended steps-
Flash mj5 bootloader via pc odin
Install mobile odin pro on ur device
Flash mk9 firmware
In this way.. you will be knox bootloader free and also your wifi will work

Yes, but MK9 (I suppose) doesn't have Note 3 apps? I went from 4.1.2 to Criskelo, and my Note feels faster, I don't know which ROMs you tried, but I have no complaints battery, stability and performance wise.

In SamMobile don't have Brazil Version of mk9. Can i install UK version?

I I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 , i was trying to root 4.4.2 Kitkat Samsung Edition but odin fails me and gives error then i switch on my phone it shows FIRMWARE UPGRADE ENCOUNTERED AN ISSUE PLEASE SELECT RECOVERY MODE IN KIES & TRY AGAIN , i think i tryed erverything to solve this and it seems impossible, Samsung Kies not working, I have firmware from my country, but i don't know what to do. I know you r in panic but you have to give us more information...
What version of odin do you use?
What is the name of the file which you wanted to flash and how you did it?
What was the error?
till that you can download a whole stock firmware from sammobile for your country or try custom roms, so if your firmware is broken you can reflash it again...

Change PC
If this does not help, flash pit file and continue.(last remedy)

My phone got stuck

Hello
I dont know how , but my phone GT-I9505 got stuck.
every some second the phone freeze , no sound , cant call , no camera and more .
all the time i had the omega rom and I tried to do factory reset and dont help.
I tried also to change rom and now Im with Phoenix rom and still I have the problem.
what I can do? maybe its type of break?
I have the old bootloader.
Please someone help me

Flash the latest stock rom via odin.
And then after flashing do a full data wipe and clean it up via stock recovery.

Download it from here
Search your phone's model number..
You can choose any country you wish to. But do not download any firmware that has a carrier written next to it. Dont download a network specific rom.
EXAMPLE: You have to download Brazil instead of Brazil (TIM)
Then flash it via Odin v3.09 by selecting the downloaded file in the PDA section
You can find many guides regarding how to flash via odin here.
And if you have the old bootloader then download any old file relating to your phones model number.
Remember if youre once on android 4.3, you cannot go back to 4.2.2
And if youre once on 4.4.2, there is no way you can revert to 4.3/4.2.2.
Bdw can you send me a screenshot of your current android version and baseband version? (Settings-->About phone)

Personally speaking, Ive never tried them and wont ever try them
Download any, but without the carrier specified for i9505.(Singapore,Brazil,Slovakia etc.)
And you can do a data wipe first and then flash or vice versa.
I used to enter the rom first and everything used to crash
then performed a data wipe via stock recovery amd everything was back to normal
But anyways, anything would do.

Ohh so you don't have knox eh??
So simply download any 4.2.2 version.
No 4.3 or 4.4.2

Bdw with knox enabled by flashing the latest 4.4.2, you shouldnt really have a problem
I9505 has the capabilities of flashing a custom rom too without tripping knox.

There is no point in reflashing the stock firmware.
You need to fully wipe in the custom recovery and reflash the custom rom.
If you still have problems then try a different rom, preferably a non TW rom, like CM.
If you then still have the problems it's probably hardware failure.

I tried to flash another rom (TW) and tried to do full wipe and still have the problem.

Now IMO youre flashing the wrong Omega/Pheonix Version that is why the FCs are there.
Because there have been drasctic changes from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2.
Either update to 4.4.2 or CM

OK I tried to instal CM11 before flash the stock rom.
Now the phone is better but there is no sound in call , I try to choose ringtone and I see it empty no ringtone.
Vibration I have.
when I try to do call the phone get a little stuck.

maybe its some problem with the modem?

hey guys! I'm seeing a lot of topics stating that you can use n910c roms on the n910h device, you just need the n910h modem and everything will be fine. just want to know if this is true. if so, can I flash any n910c roms on my n910h? thanks

Yep. I flash official 910c rom (without its bootloader and modem) on my 910h. No problem at all.
Just have test1 under baseband, but all works flawlessly.

For using it : Nope
For optimizing it : Yep, I flash CF auto root
Because 910C rom I use have more bloatware than my original ROM, also I need to root to enable LTE on it.

well I flashed wanamlite which is without bootloader and modem. so you can flash that if you want. it's pretty close to stock. but to really answer your question, I'm not sure. because you have to do a lot of different steps which I think could go wrong. answered?

Hi, i am experienced in rooting as well as flashing custom roms.
I have rooted and flashed custom roms on all my previous devices from s2 to s5 to note3. But i intend to flash official stock rom 5.0.1 on my n910h to avoid knox counter triggering.
I thought u flashed official lollipop rom on n910h so i asked u.
If u have any more information to help me further i'll be grateful.

Yes, I remove those 2.
Search tools named tar.md5 packager, it also have unpacker too, so you can unpack the rom, remove 2 files, then repack it with same tools.
I got the tools from galaxy s4 forums in here.
