If you had looked at existing threads, you would have found that CF Autoroot is recommended for Exynos handsets. So choose the CF Autoroot file for the 900H.

Hi all, I m new to Samsung, previously using HTC. I got a simple yet a question that troubling me and preventing me from rooting my phone. I saw a thread regarding the CF-auto root which i think is a most easiest way to root my phone (GT-I9505). Here is my phone details:
Baseband version - I9505DXUAME2
Build number - JDQ39.I9505XXUAME2
Android version - 4.2.2
It is possible to use the CF-auto root to root my phone? Thanks if you can help me up.

Yes, can confirm that. But CF- Auto Root also works on the I9500, different file off course. Link http://autoroot.chainfire.eu/.

TA only resets to 0 if you have a stock rom and recovery, otherwise it will always jump back to 1. Don`t use TA with a custom kernel, that may cause soft bricks/bootloops.

Basically, from what you are saying it is much safer to be on stock for the mean time? Are there stable roms out there that thats available? Mostly from what i read on android dev, they are mostly alpha (please correct me if i am wrong).
Btw, thanks for your help. I have successfully rooted my i9505 using cf-auto root. My second question is what would be the most stable recovery?
I read from an article that CWM is still unstable?

I haven't done it myself on Nae since CF worked for me, but someone else on here said they fleshed the latest Philz then installed SuperSu right from Philz as its a built in option.
CF should work though. Maybe make sure you have the right version. I just used CF again a couple days ago on the NAE bootloader.

I've been using XDA for a long while but only realised ive not got a account with you so I can't post in development forums yet but if a mod can help get this across to the cf root thread that'd help.
No 900i root has been done yet and no talk either. What does chainfire need from this model to build the 900i auto root? Let me know what's needed and how to do it n I'll have it up as soon as for him.
there's a few threads about it already.
apparently cf-autoroot for g900f works for g900i

I'd rather wait till chainfire has the chance to look at it himself and confirm the I and f have the same root method. Last thing I wanna do is soft brick my phone when I haven't had the chance to get back up software for it yet.
Hi guys,
I am a newbie. I need help on my GN3 N9005ZHUENB5. I want to root it, install custom recovery and custom ROMS. However, I am not sure what method I should use.
Did anybody had the same firmware that I have who SUCCESSFULLY rooted their GN3? what method did you use?
additional help is highly appreciated.

Unfortunately YES..
All,
I am new to the Android arena (former iDevice owner familiar with Jailbreaking).
I was wondering if there is a root available for this tablet. I just purchased it.
I tried the English version of vRoot v1.7.8 but it said it couldn't root this device. Odin3 does not recognize it either.
Has anyone successfully rooted this yet?
Thanks in advance.

Have you try towelroot? Mine is T331 and working well with towelroot
The rooting guide is in the general section of this forum...just go look. Read the whole thing if you updated your tab in August you will need to downgrade. Good luck!
Towelroot doesnt work
Towelroot doesn't work because i believe I'm updated to the latest update on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 (SM-T230NU). is their any possibility that anyone would be willing to walk me through the steps to root it? or if i have to downgrade it can someone help with that too? thanks in advance if anyone does..

Your gonna have to find a kernel that was dated before june 3 if your going to downgrade. Have you tryed vroot, rootgenis or other methods? I dont know how many root applications are out there because I dont have this tablet but there are a few.
Vroot works but you have to Odin back to ne2 firmware. Hope it helps.

I got a successful root without using a computer .
King root worked but not their latest version . I used version 4.1 , their latest version worked but partially . In my opinion their getting sloppy with the updates.
