Just saw the option and yeah it works flawless on my tab pro 10.1 wifi wich is interesting since it doesn't support 1440p playback natively.

Good to see that the screen is getting some true quality use! It's really hard to find 1440p media, especially movies.
Not that my shoddy internet speeds will let me stream 1440p...
Some youtubers like MKBHD are already uploading content in 4k but yeah movies and stuff can't be found yet. I hope Google Play movies will follow the trend soon.
Why not in cm11?

It does work in cm-11, just follow these steps.
However, I believe it might be an illusion. Once you set the 1440p and start the video and then go into settings it says 1080p again.

awesome find... pretty good... i really hope t mobile would have a faster connection for the videos to load faster....
I got my Ouya today and figured I'd try to put Netflix on it. I have no idea if this has been done, or how easy its supposed to be, but I was semi-successful, so I figured I'd share.
The audio seems hit or miss, and streaming video quality is atrocious. Obviously, the app itself is pretty difficult to navigate via controller.

I haven't tried with subtitles. Later on this evening I'll look into it for you.
Hi Guys,
I am using Moto G4 with Nougat. In the camera settings both for the front and back cameras I get an option to record videos in qHD mode but I am not able to select this mode. Any heads up? And a noob question is 1080p Full HD better than qHD 540p?

Yes, 1080p is better. I think 540p is for slow motion video.

Thanks for replying. But still how to select the 540p mode?
Hi all...
That you know, is there any limitation regarding the video playback software, in Windows 10? With photos, from smartphone to pc, everything is ok; the videos would be ok, if viewed directly from a smartphone; if I play them in Windows Media Player (I have tried other software) the colors are over saturated and the electronic noise exaggerated (I hope the screenshot of the video makes the idea).
Am I missing something about codecs and miscellaneous, or is it a known problem/limit?
Thank you

I realized only now that, viewing videos with the Windows Foto program, there are no problems.
So I guess it's a problem of settings or codecs ... am I wrong?
I found the answer
