Waka waka waka waka waka waka. Uuuhm, i mean't Pac-Rom with Franco kernel.
Had some strange issues with PA such as not being able to search a network even after full-wipe.

Where did you find the Flyme port ?
Link please
Also Mahdi+ Franco(optimised) primary and Mahdi + AK , PA+Franco, DroidKang as secondary.
It's here somewhere: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/fly-ui-oneplus-t2865796
Kind of useless without a poll.
Using CM11 nightlies.
Hello!
I use Droidkang 6.1 with Stock Kernel
Stock CM11s - Stock Kernel - Bootloader Unlocked - Unrooted
CM11S with ak on dalvik
Currently on IUNI (really nice ROM but a bit hungry when idle) but about to flash FLYUI for a few days.
What benefits does Franco kernel provide over stock? Doesn't seem to be much info on it. Thanks.

PA 4.6 Beta 1 + FK r15 with CM11S as a secondary
Liquid Smooth 3.2 with optimized franco Kernel.
really smooth, 7am - 7pm: 100%--> 89%: less usage but this power consumtion is just awesome..

marmite_v8.7 or the default kernel of cyanogen??
or if yor are any advice...
thanks
I would advise to stay with the stock cm kernel. For the past few weeks cm has been working very well, performance-wise.

ok i'll try !!!
In the post of cm 10.1.2 i've read about franco'kernel, how about ?
Yea stay with CM kernel especially if your on CM ROM

Ok let me make this clear. Marmite is not bad at all. But I don't use it for two reasons:
1. I flash daily. Flashing another thing daily (the kernel) is too much of a hassle for me.
2. I did have some small problems with it, but they might have been just random.
I'm curious what everyone thinks the best Recovery is for the Razr M and what are the best kernels as far as functionality, battery life, and speed.
I haven't played around with installing custom kernels and ive been using the CWM recovery on my razr m and im currently running the AOKP custom ROM.
Dead Calm, arghhh kernel

I think cwm is better than twrp but I am prejudiced by having wiped my extSD in one of the newest versions. See my signature link for an older BETTER version.
I like TWRP 2.6.0 and I had been having great performance with Carbon ROM 1.8 running the arrrghhh kernel. Currently though I'm having issues running arrrghhh kernel with the Carbon ROM 4.3 nightly (runs smooth with the provided kernel) and yes I did use the CM 10.2 version. I'm sure this will sort it's self after a few more updates.
***edit***
as of 8/16/2013 the arrrghhh kernel and carbon rom nightlies now work together properly

When installing a custom kernal, do i have to take any special steps such as wipe dalvic etc..? Or simply just flash zip from cwrm?
Making a backup and wiping cache and dalvik are always a good idea.
Are they still going the CAF route? Or is that ending since it mainly had to do with freezes (if I recall) in 4.3?
It's going to affect my decision to go back to 10.1. I really want to have touch2wake on my kernel and these fixes to make faux and franco kernels function are starting to cause issues on 10.2.
AFAIK, these developers will not be supporting CAF =/

freezes on 4.3 was due to bug in aosp jss code, witch have been fixed in 4.3.1. so update to lastest cm.
and in 4.4 they will continue.
Yeah, I'm running the stable release of 10.2 with ziddley's franco kernel and it's causing issues here and there now. I was hoping they were going to revert back to AOSP. I guess I'll revert back to 10.1 to maintain my desired functionality for now.

Yeah, unless there's some way to get touch2wake working on 10.2; I heard you have gamma settings now with the caf kernel included so I figure I can maintain my color scheme.

try with other kernels.
On CM11 and Cm10.2 try these: 1) Modified franco and faux to work on Cm : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2487246
2) AK has CM exclusive kernel : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2473454

You can always follow a tutorial to build your own cm from source code and enable module support. In that way you won't be using custom kernels, everything will be cm 100%.
I am using touchcontrol in that way, and I'm quite happy with the results.

CM11 is great with hells-core. Touch control works, and battery/performance is amazing.

Hello,
I have the Mahdi Custom ROM 4.4.2 on my Nexus 4.
Only I would like to have a another kernel.
It's a AOSP ROM, so which kernel I can use? Is KK also AOSP?
Can I use the Hellskernel?
You can use hellscore if you like, there's 2 versions, one for CM and one for AOSP.

Thanks man! You're amazing, I was googeling to the German-site from Hells-core.
Thankyou Again!
Give this man a medail!
another great kernel for battery is franco kernel. you can download this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.kernel.free
and it will flash it for you. it's an application for the kernel. alsao a payed version worth having if you want to play with the kernel.
I've seen few new kernels for CM but
Is there any fully stable modded kernel that allows :
undervolting
and
underclocking
and is available for for CM10.2 and CM11.
hellscore for both cm´s.
ak also is great however the dev removed all < 4.4 downloads, so you can only use it in cm11
It was never removed (Hells-core repository):
