Hello,
I have been looking for a while to find a tmobile rom ported to verizon....but so far no luck.
I have seen a Tmobile port to ATT Note 3 ([ROM][TMO UVUBMI7][AROMA-ish]TweakedN3 2.X) and I was wondering if someone know how to tweak the same rom for Verizon Note 3.

No sure what you meant.
I would like to have a tmobile rom that will work on Verizon Note 3 with Wifi-calling feature with tmobile sim on tmobile network.
Can't you just flash it? I've tweaked rc elite to work on my Verizon note 3

Can you point me to the rom?
Also sharing with me the tweaks would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rc elite in the t mobile bite 3 forum. And as for the tweaks I just got rid of aroma and installed everything manually. Wrote my own meta inf, file

Would you please post a thread explaining it or share the rom that you built?
Also, did you install it on Stock Slot or Slot 1 ?
Last but not least, does wifi calling work?
How to get rid of aroma installer? I have it installed in slot one. I can post a detailed step by step once I make it home from work
---------- Post added at 06:05 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:03 PM ----------
And WiFi calling doesn't work on any s5 port but jasmine rom claims to have it working though

Aroma, and all the porting steps.
I am new to rom porting and I have not been successful doing it following already posted steps (most of them are old and not for what I need).
I am looking forward in your post. I can even help you to perfect it and have a nice thread.
Thanks
I have jasmine rom installed and wifi calling does not work. I contacted the developer and he has no clue about it. I even started a thread about debugging the wifi calling on JasmineRom ands posted the catlog.
I'm not sure why it does not work. Maybe someone out there will see my posts about it and give me a hint.

( TMobile Rom port to Verizon Note 3 + Tmobile SIM card ) ==> expecting wifi calling to work.

maybe not just ROM maker can do that,It's more complicated,I tried before
I dont know if this is something you look for, but it is what i use on my gt-7105 EU version LTE.
Only thing thats bugging me is the LTE speed. But LTE works.

Don't Know if this helps .
but changing the appropriate DEV/BLOCKS will do the tricks and for lte speeds u can use n7105 modem
I have no knowledge how to do so. Its the same modem as i had with stock rom.
note II 7105 /jellybam aokp rome™
I've tried already a couple, Omega included with that process and it all went well except that is always asking for the sim unlock code and the contacts always FC. So i'm no rom wizard but i think it need more then just changing a few files.
Tested lte today. Getting very random results.. But everything else work flawless. Stable and fast rome. No fc:s whatsoever

Yes I tried and runned smooth with no FC
However, with it the phone is identified on PlayStore as model: Samsung SGH-I317 and my PC does not recognize it, even with USB Debuging ON
Then I made a factory reset and restored deadman12's ROM. Now it connects again to PC but when going to Play Store it is still identified as Samsung SGH-I317 ...
have you taken any action to change this?
Thanks
Guys it is easy to port. i will try. but i don't have n7105.
but i can make it happen with the help of a dev or a non-noob user from n7105 community . would be happy to work with asylum brother snabben™

Awesome ROM and I really don't want to stop using it, problem is I can't receive MMS. I am using This N9500 on canadian carrier FIDO with a Samsung Note 3 N9800W. To start I would like to say that yes I have set the APN properly, also I can send MMS messages out just fine, but I can't receive them (tested with several other phones). Thought it might be the kernel so I flashed a different one, ROM itself still works great but still no luck. Finally, flashed canadian CSC and modem and still no luck. Any way for me to fix this and is there anything I missed?
This is the link to the ROM I'm using. Unfortunately I've searched the entire thread and no one seems to be encountering the same problem as me.

This thread is a perfect example of why new users aren't allowed to post in the dev section, your bug "report" wouldn't have helped the dev in any way... Just saying something doesn't work doesn't help, post logs/etc so dev can see the cause and fix the issue.
Anyways now to answer your question, what @nc279 is wrong, that isn't a known issue. The rom is for N9005, you have the issue cuz you have a different variant, MMS works fine on N9005. THAT is why nobody else reported the issue.

Hey man I totally get what you're saying. It juat threw me off cause I have a Canadian variant N9800W (Rogers model) and I've flashed Xnote ROM since 14.0 and the MMS works fine. Farhadali2315's S5 rom is exactly what I want for my device yet when I search his thread I can't seem to find any other Canadian users experiencing the same issue as me. I understand that the problem may be that I have a different variant but is there anything else it could be? I just really want to get that specific ROM working on my device!

no expert here, but pretty sure you can't just flash the tmo rom right onto the phone.. it has to be ported and some changes have to be made..
now,, the one thing that could be a test is flashing a tmo rom and then in Tweaked thread there is a ATT-ify zip that you flash with his to put all the att stuff, so kinda wondering if flashing that would let you flash the tmo and work

Is it only stock roms that work with our safestarp or is it everything they have (of course without aroma installer)?
I got a fix for WiFi not sticking in here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2793441 also, did you happen to flash in a rom slot not in the stock slot? Because that causes issues like the WiFi one and others.
Over on the att s5 port that skizzy posted there is a link to an international Rom it works on our phone just have to change the apn so we can have data. The only issues are NFC and can't send mms
This is a good start guys. Nickscap, those are to big of issues for me. But nevertheless its a good start. And u didn't post the link. Lol.

Thank u for the link bro.
And I will try removing the aroma installer. If u take everything u want out of that folder and drop it in the customization folder then remove or delete that aroma, it works. Well this is true with the S4 roms on the AT&T variant. I'm just hopefull it will work for us in this case. And I may b wrong about that customization folder. But I will look at it tonight.

EDIT: Official ROM thread
Dark_Eyes_ was kind enough to surprised me with his DARK ROM for the N6 after asking him if he would be interested in building for it. It isn't official but he said I could find some people to test it out. I've been running it for a week and it is completely stable. It has Pixel features and is based on LineageOS. Wifi Calling, VoLTE, and camera all work. Project Fi has been confirmed to work! It includes Delta Updates so he can push updates OTA.
For more information and features about his ROM:
His N5 page

Recommended: Update to the latest TWRP, Radio, & Bootloader.

DARK ROM: Nexus 6

Installation
Backup first... always backup first
- Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache
- Install DARK ROM
- Install provided GAPPS (Mandatory)
- Install root package of your choice (Optional) - The dev recommends Magisk
- Enjoy !
*** Please reach out to him if you like this N6 build (donate if possible) and want to see continued development. Hopefully it will "officially" be released if he has a following with the N6 crowd.
Potential bug: Unable to send MMS Message while connected to WiFi (using T-Mobile):
Solution:
- It might be the same for other carriers: Under "T-Mobile MMS" APN you have to change the "APN protocol" to IPv4 (default is IPv4/IPv6 but it also doesn't work on IPv6 either).
OR
- Change the APN Type in the "T-Mobile US LTE" APN from "default, supl" to "default, supl, mms"
Please post here if you find any other bugs.

Links not working help
@Dark_Eyes_ i get error when i try to update the rom
@ProBird79 - Would be happy to test, but links not working....
I downloaded last night; I had no issues (did take about 20 minutes, but I have super-atomic download speed here at home, so I might not be a good judge). Will try and report back.

Check back later. For some reason the website goes down a lot... I think Dark Eyes is trying to find a solution.

Nexus 6 doesn't have band 40 so that would be no.
I installed the Oreo rom from https://www.xda-developers.com/samsung-galaxy-note8-android-oreo-update.
So far so good however the assisted dialing settings are in effect and keep modifying my numbers when I dial them,
so I went on the phone settings to disable it (or change the country since I'm not in the US and the phone came from the US)
but the settings are grayed out and I can't change them!
Any ideas? (screenshot attached)
I have the same problem
Hello, I have the exact same problem, but mine came out when I restored the phone to factory settings. Now I can't turn off assisted dialling. You find out how to fix yours.??

The solution was to install the unbranded international ROM, now the phone is perfect!

Hi,
Has someone tested the rom posted by theplagueisback? I'm kind of nervous to do it as this is my first time doing this..

I have a solution.
You just need a Verizon (or just your native phone's carrier) sim card. Put it in, restart - voila! Settings are active. Change it to yours. Put your new sim card, restart and be happy!

You just don't need to do it. See my reply above.

That is not a solution. You can easily install EXDialer or any other dialer from Play Market and it will work like a charm. Or you can go with my solution above.

Just because you like to install carrier branded ROMs and third party dialers doesn't change the fact that a fresh unbranded ROM also takes care of the Verizon dial assistance crap,
plus really, install another app just to dial??? Posting your solution is absolutely fine, just let people decided for themselves.

If this is your first time then you really have to be careful, I knew what ROM to download for my phone and happened to finnd one that was
not carrier branded, in other words, clean android experience with no carrier tweaks, like the dialing assistance, if you are not confident
enough don't do it.
Solutioooon timee!
this is the solution
I install the unlocked stocked version of sm-g950u1 xaa with moded odin
Here is a video

I just did and it's working pretty good
This way you are not rooted and can get updates!
You don't need to root the phone or anything!
