Good day. Have custom rom from SIN/MM1/STH region with TGY csc.
Before I had VoLTE option when I built TGY NE3 rom. However WiFi had problem. Therefore switched to a SIN/MM1/STH NG4 rom, with some modifications (mostly IME). WiFi works, but no matter what I do, VoLTE opeion doesn't appear.
I have already had these lines included in others.xml:
<CscFeature_IMS_EnableIMS>false</CscFeature_IMS_EnableIMS>
<CscFeature_IMS_EnableRCSe>false</CscFeature_IMS_EnableRCSe>
<CscFeature_IMS_EnableVoLTE>true</CscFeature_IMS_EnableVoLTE>
<CscFeature_IMS_EnableLTEVideoCall>false</CscFeature_IMS_EnableLTEVideoCall>
<CscFeature_IMS_EnableRCSPresence>false</CscFeature_IMS_EnableRCSPresence>
<CscFeature_Setting_EnableEditingIpVersionType>true</CscFeature_Setting_EnableEditingIpVersionType>
Not sure what is missing causing VoLTE option not appearing.
BTW does csc version need to be matched with the rom?

I have a non-EE S5 and have been trying to find out how to enable Wifi Calling. On this tread it describes editing system/csc/others.xml and adding
Code:
<CscFeature_Setting_SupportWifiCall>TRUE</CscFeature_Setting_SupportWifiCall>
I have found people reporting this works. So, I'm assuming the same process will work on the S5, but I don't want to root, so I was thinking of using an updater-script to replace the others.xml file with one that contains the new line.
Does anyone know if this will trip the Knox flag - which is the reason I don't want to root!
What do people think about this working?
If I get a definite answer about Knox, I will give it a go and post my experiences/details, along with full instructions/files if it works!
Thanks
I edited my others.xml file but no change.
I think it has also to do with the installed csc, maybe. Also there has to be some communication integrity with the operator in this feature, this could be probably why the operator given locked phone works. Phone should know where & to whom it should remain connected while on wifi only.
Samsung Galaxy S5 DUOS LTE (SM-G900FD).
ROM: G900FDU1BOC1, Android 5.0.
Tried it on my Galaxy Note 4 and I can't see the option anywhere so not working for me
Same problem
I have 900F BOC7 BTU stock firmware (as its the only one i could flash after a hidden.img.ext4 fail issue) and i'm also looking to get firmware that enables wifi calling. I tried calling EE customer services to see if i could blag an update but if you havent bought your phone from them you're screwed. However, they did enable the wifi calling option from their screen so you do need to call them to do this from their end.
Anyone know how to add the wifi calling option ?
Thanks.

How? Sorry,not that technical!
I have a Galaxy S8 Duos (G950FD - Dual Sim model), which has had CSC changed to allow me to use Samsung Pay in UK, as well as other features.
Phone is now configured with XEU CSC
I am unable to find the options to enable Wi-Fi Calling on this phone. Anyone know why ?
I have NOT tripped Knox Warranty on this phone (changing CSC does not trip Knox) and have NOT flashed any custom ROMS, bootloaders or recoveries, or rooted the phone. Firmware information is shown below -
When i got from s8 direct from samsung uk it had a btu csc, im on three and wanted wifi & volte so i flashed the three firmware with the csc file and it change my csc to hg3.
Wifi now showed in the dialer settings and worked fine but i never knew if volte worked as i never saw the icon show for it.
I went back to stock from three with an oxm csc file and this changed my csc to xeu/xeu/btu and not btu/btu/btu , now i have lost wifi calling with xeu yet others here say they have it with xeu.
Yeh I have it with xeu, had to re-enable it with Vodafone UK after that it appeared...also after I flashed xeu firmware I factory reset it again.

Thanks @jadaress1!! That was exactly what I needed. I turned off phone, got hold of Vodafone, asked them to turn off WiFi calling on my SIM and turned on phone. Waited for a few minutes and turned off phone. They then re-enabled WiFi calling on my SIM. I waited for 15 minutes, turned on phone, went to Phone > Settings and down at the bottom, Wi-Fi Calling now appeared and I could enable it.
Hi guys,
Sorry I just need a quick answer to this and I can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere. I have a G935F on 3 UK firmware and I want to change the firmware to either BTU or XEU, as the updates are ridiculously slow on this software version. I have read in multiple places that the CSC code is hard coded and cannot be changed, and then other places say this is merely cosmetic and flashing a new firmware will enable you to get OTA updates from the new desired CSC code.
Please can somebody shed some light on this for me, if I flash BTU or XEU will I be able to get updates as normal, and also which is better to flash XEU or BTU. If anybody can advise would either of these packages allow VoLTE and Wifi Calling to work? 3 supports them on the firmware I am currently on, but I was unsure if unbranded firmwares would support this.
Thanks!

Hi all
Current setup: S7 Edge G935F, CSC: TEL, provider: Telstra , ROM: Superman 2.7 .
Problem: There is no option to video call when I try to call. I also cannot find any options in settings or the phone app to change this.
ROM developer says that it is a CSC issue. I've tried XSA CSC with no luck. The others.xml file in the TEL CSC seems to be enabling video calling but it is still not available.
e.g.
<CscFeature_IMS_EnableLTEVideoCall>TRUE</CscFeature_IMS_EnableLTEVideoCall>
<CscFeature_VoiceCall_ConfigViLTESettingMenu>TELViLTE</CscFeature_VoiceCall_ConfigViLTESettingMenu>
Any lines I could add or change? Any other ideas? Would like to keep VOLTE and VoWiFi.
Thanks for your help in advance
Just to let any future readers know that I did end up getting video calling to work on my S7 Edge running superman ROM 2.7 . The TEL (Australia, Telstra) CSC in the 2.5.0 selection by tkkg1994 ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/development/utility-flashable-csc-selection-30-t3392957 ) enabled it for me. Keep in mind that my provider is Telstra in Australia and that is why it works for me. Both the provider and the CSC must support video calling in order for this to work. I did not end up working out what line to change but there is a line in the customer.xml file in the csc folder that looks like it enables video calling => just ctrl+F and search for "video" in that file and you should find it.
TLDR: This is indeed a CSC issue and both the telecommunications provider and the CSC must support video calling (and probably match) in order for this to work. I worked this out by flashing a more up to date CSC from my provider.
As the title clearly states, im having alot of problems in reagrds to wifi calling. Ive tried switching CSC but to no avail has it worked
Currently on Sac23 V9.2 and on EE Mobile Network
Does your mobile provider support WiFi calling? (As far as I know EE does support) Do you have a recent CSC of that provider? Tkkg1994's CSC selection may help with finding your CSC. I'm not sure which port you have, but make sure you have the right CSC for the right port I.e. s8 port vs note 8 port. I'm not sure if there is an XDA post for those, but https://www.grifodev.ch will have it.
