I like this one better from local XDA Developer and others. Check out link;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401781
And it is free. Cool, Animated weather icons like the Diamond
gives you tons of information. Not to difficult to install and use.
Edit: Of course Donations are welcomed by the developer.
been there used that and uses memeory, this one from weather channel doesnt use nothin just sittin there and very fast when open even the weather videos that play in media player load and play fast
just my 2cents
it isn't using much memory for me. Sure some but not much. When I was using continuous looping icons it sure did use a lot of mem plus huge drain on battery, but with single loop - not much mem use. Also I have it set up in Ultimate launch on it's own page and the plugin is disabled when not in use, so not much mem use then. I have not had any problems yet, and I have been keeping an eye on the memory consumption.
I'm quite fond of SBSH's Pocket Weather. Very nifty program with an awesome today plugin.

+1 for Pocket Weather.
I like to be able to glance down and see the current conditions, the forecast and radar any time I want without hitting buttons and waiting for it to load or paying a monthly fee.
PhoneAlarm has a weather feature and it's an awesome phone / profile management program. It's not free, but it's great.
Yean not bad. Only $35 EVERY year to use it and they are on average 10 degrees off on thier forcasts for my area. I use weatherbug. Its free and accurate. You can have the current temp displayed on the top bar if you want so you arent having to take up Today Screen space.
I am a prospective buyer of the Touch HD. The first thing I was wondering is if you can choose settings when you schedule a meeting. For example if you have an important meeting, you might want to switch off all incoming call and message alerts. Can it be set so that it does this automatically when the meeting starts?
Also, is there any sort of application that uses the GPS so that you can choose settings depending on location. For example you might want to make it so that your phone automatically goes on silent whenever you are in the office or, if you are a student, a lecture theatre, maybe even in your bedroom. Perhaps that is a little far fetched, but it would be cool.
There are certainly applications that do your first request.
I've not seen any that do the second based on GPS but I have seen them that check the cell station and decide on which is nearest.

If you have all your meetings setup on your phone's calendar, then you can use a prebuilt sound profile called "Automatic" which changes phone to "vibrate" automatically during your appointments.

check the program "Phone Alarm Pro"... if I understood your request correctly, that should be able to do what you want (change profile depending on meeting status as well as location by network antennas and GPS as well)... The program is highly configurable, fully skinnable and there is a full functioinal 14-days trial available.
I haven't tried yet, but with the gps there maybe two problems:
1) the gps reception inside buildings may be poor or may not work at all
2) if gps receiver is switched on all the time, the battery may be empty really quickly...
regards jan
Wow that does look like the perfect program. Although I don't have a Touch HD and don't know anything about how something would work with its interface etc. Has anyone tried Phone Alarm Pro because it looks like something I might buy if/when I get an HD? It looks like it does exactly what I had in mind.
I see what you are saying about GPS, how accurate would the location from other methods be. It mentions cell brodcasts? It does say that is checks your location every 2 mins, it might power off the gps at other times and the regularity of this might be customisable, I don't know.

It is a very good applicatin wih not much battery drain, a guy posted in this forum maybe 3 days ago how smart he configured Alarm pro so he had a least over 60% battery power after 30 hours without charging...
Here is the thread: Wow....
Hi there, is there any way to control my phone profile with a program type setting?
Like when i go to bed i always have it on silent profile, but would like it to the auto switch over to my normal profile at say 8.am so i can get my reminders for the day etc and tasks etc, is this possible?
Thanks
I bought a program called Phoneweaver for this purpose. I set the time and it automatically switches to the profile I want. It also has options for controlling wifi, bluetooth, phone, and a number of other settings. And I believe there is a trial for it.
just got it looks complex!!
I thought the same at first but its really not too difficult to set up. I don't use all of the possible settings but I do use a quite a few. I would recommend playing around with the settings until you find what you'll use the most.

I have used phonewaver on all my HTC mobiles and it takes minutes to master the setting of the profiles. I have a day one (standard), an evening one (vibrate) a night one (full silence), and a manual meeting one (vibrate). Its the best program out there and it works perfectly...try getting profile changers on an Iphone
Trying to do something a bit more advanced than I was able to do with UCCW.
The date wheel works. 1st chrono hand is battery level, 2nd is wind speed, and 3rd is current temperature.
The second hand points to the next alarm time, but I don't have an alarm set just now.
It still needs some tidying up in Photoshop, but I just wanted to see if everything works, which it does.
Does anyone have any better suggestions for using the second and chrono hands?
The existing numerals seemed to work out well for typical weather where I live, but I realise if I share the template it may be useless for others.
Hi all,
I don't know what Google and especially Samsung were smoking when releasing Android Lollipop, but the new "interruptions" were really a bad idea IMHO.
If Samsung had just copied what Google did there, it would be still ok, but Samsung removed the schedule option in the interruptions menu! Why Samsung, why? I just want to disable all notification between 10pm and 7am, but still be able to receive calls and let my alarm get off at 6:30am.
I understand that what I want can be configured with priority interruptions and it looks like it's working like intended except the scheduling part which was completely removed by Samsung. So now I have to turn priority interruptions on and off manually and if I forget it, some incoming spam mail may wake me in the middle of the night, wtf Samsung!
Is there a way to schedule this switch somehow automatically?

Yes you are completly right ,Samsung decided to cut even more in the new notification strategy on the Note 4 then Google did originally and no it's not possible to schedule like it is in the "complete" Lollipop release
Seems not a very interesting topic based on the amount of replies in this thread - anyway, I found some "solution" which I'd like to share with you
I remembered that I bought Tasker a long time ago out of curiosity, but as this app is pretty complicated (for me), I never really used it. I just gave it another try and I'm happy that it can deal with "interruptions", so it can be configured to set interruptions to priority mode for a certain period of time which is exactly what I want.
As I still don't like this app, do you know of any other similar apps that can deal with interruptions but have a nice and shiny user interface?
