i installed jellybean mmx and i got 2 updates one was preparation file for kitkat and after restart i got new update which take a lot of time and after it is installed which is kitkat, after restart the boot logo was ok but from boot animation screen goes dim from corners and there was no display and i done this 2 times and same reult.
can you make this official FOTA update flashable for Clones like QMobile i9 etc ?

I've been following your posts since I got this device and I've also been installing all the roms that you created for this device.
That's really superb job as all of them were working:good:. But, your recent release Cleankat V2.0 is not working. It installs well and the device also boots up and shows language select option. But then I get error as "Unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped working" and device shows only battery icon on the screen(where it usually shows) and nothing else can be seen.
I've tried rebooting and cleaning everything and rebooting, but no luck.:crying:
Please check into this once.

Latest kernel won't work eith clones, will update ckat 1.3 with different kernel, flashable over old kk

I found explay fresh's ROM named Fresh v3 as best ROM for clones as all the Sensors are working perfect on it but the only issue i faced is it does not use memory card at all App Data, DCIM folders are all in Internal Memory, but there is an option to select internal or external storage in storage settings but if i select memory card it still uses internal, is there any patch ?
Does this v2.2 can be flashed from KK? or still have to revert to JB?

Well so far it seems to be a very smooth ROM. The only issue I have run into so far is Swype not working. Besides that it seems to be a nice functional ROM. Good job.

Thanks, I have tried and it actually worked randomly for my friend and never worked for me. Im not much of a Swyper, but my suggestion would be uninstalling swype, and then signing up for the beta if you use Swype.

Yeah, in the past as well as now, that has never worked for me. It always fails 100% of the time. I have other like keyboards that I can use. I will continue testing for a day or two and report any issues. I really like some of the icons and the animation you have cooked into this ROM. It's surprisingly fast and responsive. Hard to believe that this is your first ROM.

In the themes and apps thread there is swipe 3.0 ( just flash in CWM) and it should solve the problem!

I mean the DarkCore kernel is still just a CWM3 Kernel based off of the voodoo kernel. So in retrospect it should work, that being said I understand what you mean and will flash it right now to test
EDIT: Flash went perfect! Swype is now working, for the next update I will just add that, the coloring doesnt match my ROM, but neither did the original swype, this is actually a much cleaner look. So thanks! Swype is now working

I had problems using the swype theme. Is there a certain procedure for getting this to work? Im using apex rom if that matters. Right now I have the newest beta with no theme.

I used it on apex 7.2 and had no problems.....I've always had to flash it in CWM3 i've never tried in CWM2 so idk?
after about a day of use, im a pleased to day that it runs very smooth and fast and have yet to have any problems. However i do have some suggestions for furture updates:
Add some adblock, most roms have some sort of adblocker in them
Have a way to change the settings on the TW launcher(its sort of annoying have the 1st screen be the default screen, and also the app drawer is unorganized. There shud b a way to sort alphabetically.)
Boot time is pretty fast, but it takes a while to turn off
Personally id rather have stock TW icons, the SGS icons are sort of bland.

Ya In my next release I was probably going to go with the TW4.5 so people can have the option to edit all the stuff they want.
The Icons i dont know what to tell you cause i kinda like that look but if thats what everyone wants ill be more than happy to change it back
Finally with the ad blocker dont know how to implement that so if anyone knows how I can PLEASE PM me and Ill ad it for the next release without a doubt.

I don't know whether this is the right thread to post in but I do have an annoyance to report.
Is it intended for the incoming call screen to be transparent as below.

I was given my Galaxy S by my brother and have only used it to play with so far, my prime use, apart from as a phone, was to have been as a replacement for my stand alone TomTom satnav.
I have tried many many roms but the satellite lock on time has been far far to long so the phone was always kept in the drawer. I have now resurrected the Galaxy S and played with both KitKat roms released by ts1506 as well as EHNDROIX IV 14.1.1. I have to say that with EHNDROIX IV 14.1.1 installed, with TomTom maps, satellite lock on is now virtually the same as with my TomTom 950 and I am now at last using my Galaxy S daily. I am now a very happy chappie indeed.
Both Roms by ts1506, regarding satellite fix times, are also very very good it's just that I installed EHNDROIX IV 14.1.1 last.
May I also add that by visiting this great forum I have certainly learned a lot and it has certainly brought me many happy hours in my retirement. :good:

I use CyanogenMod 11.0 by ADC-Team - Alpha 3 (EOL) - Kernel 3.4.x since yesterday. So far the fastest ROM I used.
Only issues are that some Apps like eg. MixZing don't work, hope that there will be a cure to this soon.

I have switched from CM10 (which was very laggy on my i9000) to CM11, and everything is great so far!
More battery life, faster experience overall, stable, no serious bugs.

you've should update to the latest release with ION. it works even better and some apps like Chrome, Google Maps and several other apps wil be better.
Speaking about the Galaxy S plus wich i own, the (as we speak right now) latest CM11 by ADC team is working already really good together with K^Kernel, Its amazing that these 3/4 year old devices can get the latest and greatest versions of android and work well

Am on CM11 Beta 3 now and works quite good. Do you recommend a custom kernel or does it make more sense to stick to the standard they deliver with the package?

Perform FULL wipe & Flash Gapps given in the link, dont flash other gapps. It should work fine
PlayStore fc error on v4.0. I flashed PA gapps and working fine now.

Same here.
Clean flashed 3 times. 1 time with the Gapps from the first message and 2 times with Bank's.
Also baseband version seems to be unknown even after flashing a modem.
Can't play videos with semaphore kernel, when using cm kernel then can play videos. Any help? I want to use semaphore kernel.

How to Install Xenon HD Custom Rom
Step 1 : Copy the Xenon HD Custom Rom and GApps in your SD card
Step 2 : Boot into Recovery
Switch off your device
Now press Volume Down + Power Button together for 2-5 seconds until you see the bootloader
Connect the USB to your PC/Laptop and then flash TWRP recovery (read the guide here)
Step 3 : Make full wipe including “system” (data, dalvik, system, cache)
Step 4 : Now go back and click install and then click one level up
Step 5 : Flash the ROM and then the GApps
Step 6 : Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2-5 minutes)

How to Install Xenon HD Custom Rom
Step 1 : Copy the Xenon HD Custom Rom and GApps in your SD card
Step 2 : Boot into Recovery
Switch off your device
Now press Volume Down + Power Button together for 2-5 seconds until you see the bootloader
Connect the USB to your PC/Laptop and then flash TWRP recovery (read the guide here)
Step 3 : Make full wipe including “system” (data, dalvik, system, cache)
Step 4 : Now go back and click install and then click one level up
Step 5 : Flash the ROM and then the GApps
Step 6 : Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2-5 minutes)

Agreed. This is the only ROM, i stayed with for longest time(almost a month and still using). This rom is best.

OP3Lite
OP3Lite is almost self explanatory. It is a lighter, and in my opinion, faster, version of the stock image. The stock image itself was amazing and did not need much done to it. All I have done is add a few tweaks and get rid of all unnecessary bloat that can be downloaded from the Play Store. Since this is based on OxygenOS, there are no issues with any of the features unique to the OnePlus 3. Everything in this Rom can easily be done by the most novice Android tweaker, but for those of you that don't want to go through that, here you go!

I would highly suggest clean install. It SHOULD work if you dirty flash but no guarantees.

When you flash the stock OOS or a ROM that is based off of OOS, will it restore encryption to the device? Does OOS come with forced encryption to where it encrypts the storage on flash or on boot, or is the OP3 just encrypted out of the box? Thanks for any help or advice!

Yes, indeed. When you flash it on a decrypted storage it will encrypt it again.

You could've made it clear by saying that you didn't remove the basic ones.
i flashed with dianlujitao twrp and frezze on oneplus logo
my solution: flash basketbuild twrp and then clean and flash again and finally boot

i only wipe system/cache/davlik and dirty flashed lite 3.1.3 over 3.1.2 stock and than flashed blue_spork kernel

you may be able to flash this rom then flash this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/kernel-t3404970 as it doesnt force encrypt but you should make sure it works with 3.1.3first
edit- the post above mine confirms my post lol. but also confirms the kernel works

The freeze might have been the time being used to encrypt your storage. Be patient. After some less than 10 minutes it will just boot through.

Was decrypted and thn flashed ur rom.flased op3 lite thn xposed.booted fine.and still decrypted..thnks for nice rom.fluid and fast.hv to test the battery..

i dont think so
with the other twrp flash the rom inmediately only see installing system and boot.img and done
with this twrp take a while to install the rom and see more process before installing boot.img
so i think so there a bug with this rom and the twrp with encrypt option
