Yes there's a tip to do that but you will lose the s-view function.

Thats fine

[Q] Notification Bar - How do I change it back to the default?

I installed LauncherPro on my S7, but I would like to figure out how to change the notification bar to something more like the stock one. I like the way the notification bar works on my Epic 4G, but I haven't figured out how to do this on the S7.
Anyone know how to accomplish this?

check the bottom of the tutorial
Code your own rom for the S7.
The notification bar is the way it is and without re-writing the OS, you're not going to be able to change it.
I find that tapping to drop it down works better than sliding. It was really painful on my other resistive Android tablet.
I did follow the instructions from the post. My expectation of that was that I would have the normal notification bar. However, that isn't the case.
I'm not really into making a custom ROM for the notification bar. The funny thing is that now that I've used the stock notification bar, I'm getting used to it. The back button at the left side of the bar is actually pretty nice to use. As I'm an old Palm/Pocket PC/Windows Mobile guy, I like using a stylus and the back arrow is actually OK. I just think that the thing is too big.
Thanks,

You can use G2 Tweaksbox to change how it looks but I don't think so without flashing different ROM....
Thanks man! I had Gravitybox and G2 Xposed installed but they didn't seem to have any options to get rid of the ugly old style square buttons for the quick toggles. This looks much better but I'd like to look like a Nexus or AOSP.
I have another one, during the day I really want to change my data connectivity type between 3G/edge a lot.
So Is there any toggle option to add into our drop down bar for 3G toggle On/OFF?

This thread should be in the Q&A section. And I presume you are talking about the notification drawer/quick toggles, since the Touchwiz status bar has barely changed? If so I don't think there is a mod and I don't think there ever will be since almost everyone else prefers the new style

[Q] Anyway to change the samsung notification skin on rooted phone

Is there anyway to change the samsung notification skin on rooted phone in particular get rid of the horrible sfinder quick contact widget that always shows, i know there is a xposed module but i dont think xposed works on stock note 3 rom.

SystemUI / Good Lock etc.

Hi all,
A newbie question to the Android experts. I have read in many forums that a rooted device is needed in order to change and/or customize status bar icons. However, Samsung Good Lock app was able to do this on an un-rooted device. Good Lock app provided AOSP status bar icons and I loved it. The stock Samsung network and WiFI icons are super hard to see and quite frankly ugly. The wifi icon is half the size because of the ridiculous up/down arrows underneath the icon.
I have been looking for a replacement app like Good Lock but no luck. I tried Status and Material Status apps but they are buggy and don't work all the time. More over, they render another status bar on top of an existing one.
How was Good Lock app able to do this on a non-rooted device? I presume it was able to replace the SystemUI?What does it take to build an app like Good Lock? Anyone knows how it was accomplished or if it's possible?
Thanks for your time.
