[Q] gt-i9505 imei lost ( null/null )

hi all, i hope this is the right section for it.
i have a samsung galaxy s4 ( GT-i9505 )
and i did a software update to the android kitkat 4.4.2.
after i did the update the phone won''t connect to the network or the wifi.
after some research in found out that the imei code is gone.
by typing: *#06# it say's nulll/null
can anyone help me out with this problem?
i have been searching for 3 hours and tried diferent things but i won't work.
i am from the netherlands, i flasht the phone back to I9505XXUEMKF_I9505PHNEMK5_PHN.
so i'f anyone can help me please.
i have the imei code written down from under the battery, so i have the original imei code for my phone.

i have tried that.
nothing chanced.
it stil say imei null/null

Try to delete efs Folder with rootexplorer. Reboot direkt to download Mode and Flash your Modem Again, uncheck Autoreboot. After Frist Flash Reboot your again in download Mode an Flash the Same Modem again.

i have these options in odin.
pit
bootloader
pda
phone
csc
and i have installad root browser
when i am in the folder of efs i see the folder imei
there is a file named: mps_code.dat

i did this:
deleted efs folder
flashd trough odin the file with phone ( unchecked reboot section )
after that, i reboot again in download mode.
flasht the modem file again.
reboot the phone, still the same state.
checked with root browser the efs folder, nog the directory imei is gone?

hello,
on my wife's s4 i9505 after 4.4.2 update to wifi screen its lag.
the screen freezes all the time???
I did a factory return all worked properly for 4 days and then the problem returned
please do that I'm stuck.
the phone has no micro sd.
phone without root.

I guess you mean the 4.4.2 update. Maybe it helps if you flash an other firmware via odin from your pc with an other firmware.

You wont be able to get back. But you can flash all newer firmware via Odin. http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
There you can find the newest firmwares for your device.

Did you re-install any apps in the day before it started to freeze again?

My boss complained his S4 lagged as well after installing 4.4.2 update. It's funny considering 4.4.2 is a very optimized OS.

i am on stock 4.3 can i update to 4.4 using odin without increasing knox flag?

no knox problem and i have just official pda from sammobile

Knox will NOT be tripped because you are flashing an official signed software from samsung yeah pda shiuld be enough. If you have problems then search and flash the matching modem twice

How to change csc

I have Sm-n 910c no root phone, my csc is xsg for u.a.e, I tried to flash poland firmware xeo,
But csc not changed to xeo even after factory reset & reflash with xeo again, anyone knows how to change csc without rooting my device?

No one has any idea?

I changed my csc this way
- flash firmware
- don't reboot to system, boot in stock recovery
- make factory reset/wipe data
- and then reboot system

I will try your method but I have a question, in kies your csc shows proper?for me in recovery it was showing multi csc xeo applied, but in kies it's still showing xsg instead of xeo.

I don't use kies, but you can check your csc with phone info app from play store
