Hello !
Since a couple of weeks, I have a pop-up "sudden shutdown of services exchange , processus com.android.exchange".
I have tried :
- removal. installation of my Exchange Account
- hard / soft reset
- ....
also , I have a concern when setting up the account : even if I do no want the attachments to be downloaded, they are when sync starts! I do not have the parameter in the general parameter form to choose the option (I have it in my other IMAP account which works fine)....
Nothing helps !
Ultimately, I tried "Touchdown " which seems ok, but I lost the native mail client and prefer this one.
Can anyone help me?

Try Touchdown from the market. It costs about $20 US, but does exactly what you would like, and your login PIN is only used for Exchange so you can access your other apps without having to enter a PIN.
Thanks for the reply.
I have tried touchdown , seems to be ok. Nevertheless, I do prefer the native email client this is the reason why I 'd like to keep using it.
any other idea?
thanks
try remove big mails (bigger than 10MB) from your mailbox via www page.
it helped in my case for some time...
the best way would be to replace the exchange.apk and email.apk with files from for example Taboonay ROM but you are not rooted - so not possible.
Dear All,
can anyone help me to solve this issue with echange & email native client on HC 3.2?
thanks in advance
UP ! UP !

I now receive the exchange force close if I sync more than 1 day. I installed catlog and it shows a out of memory at java.lang.outofmemoryerror.
I rooted and installed thor's v14.1 rom. I can now sync email for 2 weeks and have not had any problems.

Hello I installed same rom (thor v14.1) and I have this pop-up message about server exchange. how can I turn off push service ?
thanks
i'm using thor's v14.1 and 3 exchange accounts with push method and have no issues at all.
there is something wrong on your side - did you wipe correctly before installing thor's rom?
try wipe data of email app and exchange via titanium backup app.
you will loose your mails and account settings.
if it won't help
try wipe cache and dalvik cache from cwm.

Hello,
I have this problem:
- I have a telenet pop3 account that is working well
- the exchange (corporate sync) is not working. When configuring it's telling everything is OK, but I can't receive any mails.
- I have already tried the inverted mailapp, replaced a exchange file found somewhere on the internet.
Is there a solution for this problem?
I'm running the leatest Quarkx build & the exchange is running 2010.
Thanks a lot!

same problem
Owkee,
I did a format of the cache partition, wiped the user data,
installed CM10-20121102-NIGHTLY-mb526.zip
then without rebooting installed CM10 gapps-jb-20120726-minimal.zip
That did the trick for me... now with the standard email app (not the inverted ones) the exchange account is just working fine.
When setting up the exchange account I did not put in a port number. It seems that he is capable of detecting the right number.
Hope this helps...
Use app touch down for smartphones

hello to all my dear friends
I have updated the device to kitkat but I have a problem with the sync gmail account.
With kitkat automatic synchronization does not work, I am forced to do it manually to option/account and sync/google/push gmail
if active sync only by the key sync, the sync does not work. Why ?

Your going to have to go into application manager/all apps and clear the data for download manager, gmail, play store and Google services framework then delete all your gmail accounts reboot and add your gmail accounts back and in the status bar it will be asking you for permissions grant permission then go into accounts and sync your gmail that should do the trick
Do you have root access?

Yes but you shouldn't need it to do what I said
Hi, how to install stock email? I can set up your email application. But I can not install the Exchange services.
I have the LG V20 with Nougat 7.0. I have an e-mail account with GoDaddy that e-mails are being held on their servers until I download them to my computer (Windows 10/Outlook 2016). I can view these e-mails on the Email stock app before I download them to my computer. After downloading the e-mails to my computer, the e-mails I downloaded first on the stock app should disappear (after when I refreshed), but they're not disappearing.
Before, I had the Samsung S5 with Marshmallow (6.0.1) and it worked fine. They disappeared after I downloaded the e-mail to Outlook and then did a refresh in the Email stock app.
The "Leave a copy of messages on the server" is not checked in Outlook.
Why is this happening? Is this a new thing in Nougat? Is there a way to fix it?
