Problem with network connection - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I do not operate the telephone network. I purchased a used g2, which mounted 6MD / T-MOBILE_16G (GERMANY) v20c, then I updated with 6TA / ITALY_OPEN_16G v20f, I used towelroot for the root and AUTOREC for TWRP, then I did the wipe and flashed the Cloudy G3.
But by inserting the sim card gives me network error.
It may be a problem of the efs folder (I did not backup)
Is there a way to see if it has been corrupted?
From settings, the imei code is correct and connections wifi and bluetooth function !
Can you help?

[Q] Problem with network after flashin SlimKat and Cyanogenmod

Hello.
I have a problem with my LG Optimus L5 E610.
First I flashed SlimKat ROM (I had stock 4.1 before that so I had v20 baseband). At that point I had network but not WiFi.
I din't like that so I flashed CyanogenMod 10 (without previously flashing v10 baseband required for it) and I had WiFi but not network.
I tried flashing v10 baseband but the network problem persisted.
My IMEI is still in my phone, i get it when I click *#06# so that's not the problem.
Then I tried flashing v20 baseband and install SlimKat again - same problem (no WiFi and no service - WiFi never seemed to work on SlimKat but last time I installed it it had service)
Then I flashed v20 again and installed CyanogenMod 11 on the phone. As of now everything is working except the network.
Apps are running normally, WiFi is working, Bluetooth is working.
I tried: Toggling Airplane mode, rebooting, toggling GPS, Bluetooth, toggling 2G data only.
I simply do not know how to fix this and after a few days of googling without answer I came here to see if anyone can help me.
The main problem is that says I don't have a SIM card in but I do (tested SIM card on other phones - it works)
I would be very grateful. Thank you in advance!

try another sim, else flash from kdz the correct firmware(of your country, because not all country have the same network signal), you find it here http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=12
on stock i have the test menu with this code 3845#*610# put it in phone call
hidden menu *#*#4636#*#*, i dont know if they work on other rom
try!

No Mobile data network after imei restore

Hello , i've restored my imei after that i flashed flash_factory.bat, after all the procedure the sim is recognized but theres no mobile data network, i flashed modem.img from fastboot, tryed to change default network type and configure manually the apn of my operator , but nothing of these works, anyone have any idea of what i should do?

Got replacement mainboardboard, is my IMEI blacklisted? Also how to restore full dump

Hi,
I recieved replacement board for my H910PR, ordered an ATT H910 board and it came with H910 10l firmware.
I made a full dump before flashing H915 10e kdz and yet I don't have signal. Only the sim is recognized. If I go into Hidden menu and try to select LTE bands it says FAIL, if I select network mode as GSM/WCDMA/LTE, it pops SUCCESS but doesn't lock on the signal. Only the simtoolkit works and Service Disabled appears.
How can I restore my H910 10l full dump via patched LGUP ? (eventhough I cant verify if radio works)
I even rooted with dirtysanta, yet its the same story after applying the signal fix. Even when I flashed H910_10r firmware with TWRP, there is no signal at all. Is there anyway I can reset the modem setting? I even written a generic IMEI via MID settings but to no avail.
Please advice Looks like I wasted another 100$ on replacement mainboard
Edit: Forgot to add that Baseband, IMEI everything appears as normal. my IMEI appears as clear in AT&T database as well.
I'm making a second guess that modem is not functioning on this device despite everything appearing as normal.
Update # 2:
It's not the IMEI that's the culprit but the nonfunctional modem. It simply doesn't work with LTE/GSM/3G. IT doesn't catch a single signal bar. I get Service Disabled while sim toolkit correctly shows my sim card options. In the hidden menu, RAT selection gives me error when I try to switch network mode or select an LTE Band. Everything there fails. I even tried Factory Reset R&D and it doesn't work. Radio is permanently gone.

No Service after Battery replacement - EFS corrupt?

Hey guys,
I'am struggeling for some days with my axon7. Here is what happend:
1) I send my device for a battery replacement with open bootloader because the garanty is over and i paid it by my own - for this i made a factroy reset and cleand up all private data
2) I got back my device and played back my backup (maybe incl. efs partion backup) - the device worked fine
3) some days after that I noticed that I get no signal anymore(!) - a reboot does'nt solve the problem so I made a restore again and I restored system, data, boot , twrp, modem (Axon7G for linage 14.1 and 15.1) and later efs because I read some threads in which this was a solution for this problem -> all of this does'nt help
4) I tryed to reset all network settings and played around with the apn settings and followed some instructions in the "*#*#4636#*#*-Menu
5) I tryed to flash linage 15.1 with the right modem and bootloader -> nothing
6) I tryed to go back to stock with this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68873485&postcount=3 but everytime I install the stock system it's stop working at the last 5% and northing happens. When I turn the device of and restart in twrp the log says "unable to mount system" and the system partion is corruped so that I have to format it to fat (for example) and then format it back to eft4(?) I checked for ticked "mount system" and unticked "read only" in the mount-menu.
Now I found this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1089039 and I'am not sure if this could be a solution. I also checked my IMEIs and they are both correct (I compared them with my orginal box) I also have and old efs backup form the time before I chaned to linage. My baseband is lokking like " 2.0.c1.9-00095-M8996FAAAANAZM-1" form this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/build-baseband-kernel-patch-level-t3553639)
I compared the size of the efs when I do a backup now with the size form the old backup (1,5 years +) and they have the same size.
I noticed that I hang in a loading screan when I try to read out contacs from my sim card.
The sim card is working. Other sim cards also dont work in my device. When I tap on "mobile telephone operators" i sim-card settings it says "registered". when i do a manual search then its unable to register in a network. Bluetooth and wlan are working. The device is notices the sim card. I have to insert the pin and it's reading my provider.
Is there anybody who can help me?
Its an axon7G with linage 14.1
Yeah I'm having the same problem too. Not sure, I just replaced my battery but now I get no service. WIFI and bluetooth still work but the phone cannot recognize any network provider. The SIM and my number are detected but nothing about my mobile data.

You two ever thought that it could be hardware? Maybe the antenna cable got disconnected?

I triple checked everything and the antenna cable was plugged in. I also tried a spare antenna cable and it still didn't work. Might have been something wrong with the mother or daughter board
Yes. I send it back to the store ans they changed the board for free. So it was a hardware failure i think.

S10+ (G975F) IMEI status NG and fails to join GSM network.

Hello,
I recently purchased an unlocked S10+ because I wanted to install a custom ROM on it.
One of the prerequisites for the install is a firmware upgrade to the latest Android 12 version.
I got the firmware for the phone's CSC and flashed it successfully with odin4 on Linux.
However, the phone will not join T-Mobile's network, even though the APN network is correct in connection settings.
Checking the SIM/RF stack via *#0011# shows valid RF signal, but IMEI Status reports as NG.
The phone works flawlessly over WiFi (VoWiFi, etc...), but reports emergency calls only when WiFi is disabled.
I'm wondering if someone could suggest other things for me to try with the phone to get it connected to the GSM network.
Is this a case of me having to "fix" the /efs partition?
Many thanks.
