i accidentally updated to kikat but now i would like to downgrade so i really need the the download link of official ROM for lenovo tab A3500-hv. i have searched pretty much but found nothing. i hope somebody here can help me. here is the detailed ROM that im looking after:
android version :4.2.2 (or if compatible 4.3)
build : A3500hv_a422-01-22-140402_SA
kernel:3.4.
i dont know why lenovo website doesn't include their official firmware to flash.
i really need to find this rom to flash my device.
please help me if somebody has information.

hi, here's Official ROM Link. regarding Build/Version i'm not sure, in case it will work fine or not but as for me, i flashed Huawei ascend y511-u30 with stock ROM/Firmware of different build number than mine & it worked fine.

restart to your recovery mode and see what language you will see there and feedback here.

An advice, make Full Backup of current ROM/Firmware before doing anything with device you are willing/thinking to try.
I'm using Huawei Ascend y511. so can't do that, but i believe "CN" stands for Chinese and "EN" sure for English. regarding recovery language, for me i get two different modes, recovery and factory setting i believe. Stock recovery for my mobile is in English and the other is Chinese. But, in case you get chinese recovery, i think it can be replaced with "Custom Recovery (English)".
Once Stock/Custom ROM is installed/flashed, you sure can change language option to English or Chinese as mentioned about ROM languages (Not for recovery).
Point is that; once ROM is installed/flashed & you are satisfied with it and you also got backup of current Kitkat ROM and you find recovery is in CN. You can restore ROM to Kitkat or in case you don't care about warranty and can flash/install Custom recovery(English language) without going into CN recovery. then i think it shouldn't be a problem.

why don't you update your kernel from 2.2 to 2.3? And I think 4.1.2rom is not fluency for our defy . if you have the kernel 2.3,you may update to kitcat~
update your phone . you need pay attention to the following list .
1.Use the software named RSD,the file is sbf ,sbf will change your bl,so, you need to know what's your phone bl;
2.you need to now what's your defy's lens,it's red or green;
3.you need a rom which is .zip some rom don't need to think about the kernel but someone discriminate.
o it's the first time I reply in English,if I say something wrong or you can't understand.please forgive it . haha I have a bad English. and I think I need someone to fix my grammer error。and when i speek english I don't know what I said above。。。

:victory: Sorry ,I hadn't used it ,the phone is my mother's.when she gave me ,I updated it to miui ,and the others,I think some of them is not beautiful some is very slow.so , then i used mokee42.2 ---mokee43---mokee44---cm11.... It's Q's the latest rom. now I think cm11 ‘art’ model is very good~

and bootloader: my bl=6
some roms ignore the bl .but some like The official package need it.

I would like to upgrade my ol' Huawei Ascend G740 to a newer firmware, but since Huawei doesnt release updates by themselfes, i thought about doing that by using custom recovery.
But i dont really want to use an official rom, i have Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and im not really happy with it. i prefer to have lightweight systems (like slim bean) without tons of Bloatware in it, so i started googeling. But i cant seem to find ANY roms for my smart phone, is the G740 that uncommon that nobody bothered to support that device? or is it possible to get roms for similar smartphones and install it on my (rooted) G740-L00? i dont know.
And if theres really no good custom rom for my G740 out there, i would like to update my phone to Andoird 4.4 anyways, even if that means to use official stock roms like KitKat or whatever, in that case, which one would you recommend?
I hope you guys can help me out!

Hey, I am new to the website and I checked the G7 rom you linked but I noticed that there's also a CM12 rom: htcmania com/showthread.php?t=1069214
(fill the Space between htcmania and com with a dot). However, on the pictures it says the version is Android 5.1.1 and as far as I know this version has not come out. Can you explain?

It's a costum rom, but it haves a lot of bugs. I'm using right now on my Ascend G7-L01 and it works fine.
As far as I have heard then there will come an official lollipop rom out in this month, I'm so excited!!!

on official site Cyanogen OS, the lastest FW for Zuk is cm-12.1-YOG4PAS7DF, but on myphone now check the lastest fw is YOG4PAS52C (security patch 1-1-2016). Why two FW different ?
And there are 3 file about lastest FW on offiial site: ham-signed fastboot , ham signed, and ham boot debuggable ??? I dont understand which is main firmware to flash? Anybody please tell me what they are, and how to use???

i'm planning to buy ZUK EDGE from Zuk Official Shop (http://www.zukmobile.cc/buy-zuk-mobile.html)
I'm just concerned about 2 things before my buying :
- Android 7.0 (for the multiwindow mode mainly)
- Multilanguage ROM (French language mostly)
I asked (and a lot of people too did) on the questions page but the people who are answering are once saying "multilanguage is available" and sometimes "just english & chinese".
They updated the sheet recently and it seems clear that Android 7.0 is preinstalled. But which build? They are unclear about it.
I did some researchs on the internet and i found that the most recent and stable build of Android 7.0 for ZUK EDGE is : ZUI 2.5.406
It is apparently bringing every features of Android 7.0, the ability to show "on-screen buttons" (back, menu, app view), and even multilanguage...
Do you have a link to download this 2.5.406 ROM for ZUK EDGE ? Does someone already have it / tried it ?

For what I have seen so far, you'll have to choose between ZUI 2.5 or multi languages. The custom rom are built on 2.3.
Only official rom is 2.5 (my phone came with 2.3 but there was an update ready for 2.5).
I try the 2 Italian rom mention in other post, there is French.
The CM have French too. I'm back on official 2.5,camera is a bit better.

With the OTA,of the update app of zui.
But if you're already rooted, that won't work, you'll need to use the qualcomm tool QTFIL I think, i found the tuto on zuk fan europe I'll try post the link later.

when i open "system Update", it just crashes. my phone goes to first screen.
my phone is Not rootet and bootloader is lock.

From memory it is the official zuk rom, so locked bootloader might work.
fyi, to open the port for qfil i struggle a bit, and once open you need to start the download very very quicly, less than a second....good luck with that.

yes. the original Rom have a lot of chinese apps but u can uninstall them easily

What i am confused about is the phone is advertised as being released with Android 7.0 and i purchased mine directly from ZUK and they say it's Android 6.0, how is that possible? Did anyone here buy official ROM and if so was there an update to 7.0?

I purchased mine directly from zukmobile.cc and it came with Android 6.0 and no updater app or update option in settings. I flashed the latest ZUI from my previous post using this process and it worked perfectly:

Official? I think so anyway, see my post on the previous page. It has English on it you just have to select it manually in settings.

No, I just downloaded QPST and watched the video on mute. You can see everything he's doing.
Ok so i got the phone and it has Android 7.0 out the box! All is good with that. But i have an issue with "ok google" it is greyed out. Anyone?

Well, if you read the last message here, you'll see that it's most likely not official. I wouldn't use that rom if I was you, best is either to stay at stock oxygen or just go with an android oreo rom (like AOSIP or any other found on this forum)
