There already is a thread for this... Plus you should also give your screen on time.
Here these are with wifi on all the itme and simetimes 3g data. Moderate use with a lot of music listening. On CM10.1 probably could get another day out of it if I wouldnt listen that much music hehe.
So GET CM!!!

Like I said there already is a topic about battery life, so IF you want to share some knowledge you should do it there, not here. And I dont think 3 hours of wifi is moderate, that is light, plus you need to note screen on time.
Why
The OP requested for the thread to be closed.

Is this normal battery consumption?

Seems like something is keeping your phone awake -- could be an app gone rogue.

I'm not sure how it calculates the "approx." battery left, but I never see 3 days.
shotgun10ga, that usage chart doesn't tell us much. Losing 22% could be normal for over the course of a couple hours if you're gaming and have the display on for most of that time. How many hours of screen on time do you get and what percent are you left with at the end of a day?
Please, stop creating many threads about the same question.

well nobody ****ing answers me
There's nothing wrong with your battery, if you play games a lot, battery usage/taskmaster will give you the estimate how long it can handle the stress from your games. You can't just look at the very 20% of your usage and be worried.
I usually get something between 4.5-6 hours of SOT.
P.S. Creating many threads about the thing isn't allowed even if nobody answers you.

There are always so many answers about this question. If you had checked the forums, you'd see that almost everyone would tell you that you have a rogue app. There is nothing more we can tell you with the fairly vague detail you provided.
We can't provide the definite answer.
The 810 is known for being battery hungry when playing games, so you should have known this before buying the phone!!!!!!

Dude, if you take a look, something is keeping your device awake when your screen is off...
If you have root, try installing BBS, WLD or GSAM, this way you can check what is waking up your device.
It's probably an app or a game..
I'm having 4-6 hours SOT on LTE.

battery went down

hi guys
refer attached screenshot. i had 55% battery last night. when i woke up after 6 hrs, my phone was totally flat.
anyone can guide me on how to monitor this or troubleshoot this? its not like this always. this is once or twice only within a 6 month period
im using s5 with POK1 alexndr rom
thanks
Yea, have a look on the screen before that one, that lists the different apps that are using the most battery
It's nothing there bellow this list.. that's why I'm bit confused. Do you know any apps which can monitor these kind of issues?

First thing is your signal , you have bad reception which drains the battery quickly. Next , you can see in the screenshot that your phone is awake even if the screen was off , which mean you have an app draining your battery in background. I can see that you have a modded status bar which mean you are rooted , just install wakelock detector from the play store and it will show you all your wakelocks and alarms.

Very poor battery regardless of configuration

Hello. I have had a OP5 for the past year, having bought it a few weeks after it launched. However I have never gotten "good" battery performance. I just saw the thread where people posted their SOT, 8, 9 hours...? I can barely get 4, and that's if I'm on WiFi... The phone for me barely lasts a day? With far from heavy usage. I have tried various ROM/Kernel configurations but nothing helps. Currently I am using AEX and that's what I got yesterday (see attachment). Stock OOS is similar if not worse... I am soo frustrated about this issue. Could anyone point me towards what I am doing wrong? Battery stats don't show me anything wrong, I use normal apps like Facebook, Snapchat etc and they don't drain that much battery according to the stats. What could it possibly be?
Thank you

Please read the linked thread about bbs and repeat the recording of a dump file according to the instructions in the first post.

Poor idle drain starts at 1%/h or above

I've just gone back to a much more routine lifestyle (summer is over) and so my phone followed suite, I don't use it so much during the day and the average drain of a whole day of small usage is 3-4% an hour which is great for me! However, whenever I start using is when things get out of hand, the usage shoots up to 20+% an hour. Very strange as it is obviously not a wakelock problem but a screen problem? Okay I don't have a 100% black substratum theme but I mean. The phone is designed to handle colours haha

Wakelocks are not dangerous in general. And Google play services are essential for majority of your communication.
Without a dump file like before its not possible to track down any issues to Google play services. And if you don't have a higher drain, it's just the observation of the wakelock.

What could be the reason behind my battery drain?

Hello,
I am at a loss as to why my battery drains in the background so much. I'm curious as to if something needs to be done from my end to ensure it doesn't drain so much. I'm currently on Pixel Experience with its default kernel (weeb). I'm rooted with magisk, and using pixel wifi mod, as well as the gps mod provided in the list of collectibles and flashable zips in the guides section. Have attached screenshots from battery usage, as well as better battery stats. Please point me to the right thread if needed. Would love to sort this out if possible, as I'm not in a position to buy a new phone yet. Thanks in advance!
I must add that i had this kind of drain on OOS 9.0.5 as well, but at that time, I did not use wifi or gps mods.

Could you explain why the first one wasn't? It was in deep sleep for 6h and 3 mins. Also in that thread, the OP had mentioned to charge the phone, and drain till 95. Hence why i thought that the screen must be on for a bit. So basically the bare minimum time that you mention the screen must be on is to take the bbs dump right? I wasn't really sure after going through the thread, hence thought I'd ask once. Thanks again!
Edit- I understand by going through the original thread that we shouldn't even have more than a minute of SOT. Sorry for that! Have never taken a dump from BBS before.

Ok, there's a loot of background downloads from Facebook, Instagram and bleacherreport?
Next one is ssusb wakelock, check this out https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809&p=79121123
Also your fitbit device keeps your device awake over Bluetooth.
You received a call for some minutes and your device rings? It gives wrong results as it keeps the device awake.
You have 1%/h overall drain which is higher than expected on this device(it can be 0.4-0.7) so try to minimize the above listings.
If you have further questions please feel free to ask

Thanks. Bleacherreport is a sports news app. I use it to get football updates, read articles and see wrestling news. Some of their writers are okayish, but the best part is that they share twitter posts which are from some of the more well known sports journalists. I use it and reddit equally well.

I have uninstalled fitbit's app and the cricbuzz app for now. I shall have to manage the phone carefully for a few months if the problem doesn't go away ? Thanks anyway!
