Hi, I have a d800 and d802 I installed the version when it reboots the touch does not work and I can not go there, I tried again with the d800 flashtools but it says Download failed device is different. Any solution?
Thanks!
NOTHIING??
Wait so @mathius89 you have flashed an d802 rom on your d800 or vice versa, this is what you can do, is or fix the build.prop/rom with the other one if you have custom recovery, or you need to use hexeditor and open the totfile and replace the device number with the system's device you accidently flashed, to bypass the device number verification.

hello,
i have an ls980 with d801 firmware, it boots the system but after some seconds it crashes and
reboot again, i can't go into recovery or fastboot, only download mode, but i can't back to stock with
ls980 tot file(even if i use the LGUP_8974.dll),
i can b to stock only with d801.
I tried also to go in developer options (in some seconds before to crash and rebooting) and debug my phone, used ioroot and now
the phone is rooted,
i tried to use adb sideload and push the twrp recovery, for any kind of zip or install apk the answer is error:closed, my device is recognized for some seconds before to reboot,
someone can help me with this issue?
Nobody can help me? I would try to make the recovery img file with ubuntu but i don't know the commands

If download mode shows, go back to stock with lg flash and .tot firmware file. It will reformat/rebuild all partitions. This is best because you may have a corrupted partition. You can re root after doing this.

Guys i need your help, I screwed my phone BADLY. I have D802 from Hong Kong
TOT flashing method starts, flash until 80%, phone restarts, the FlashTool gives meddage FBOOT fail. Flashing fails.
Phone restarts until LG logo and the diode is blinking colors.
There is only download mode available.
Please is there ANY solution? Even guys on IRC #lg-g2 channel couldn't help me.
What i did before:
1. rooted my phone
2. instal autorec, which screwed phone. after that only flashboot mode worked
3. i flashed laf.img to restore download mode, it worked
4. i flashed aboot, tz, rpm, it allowed me to boot into system but screwed touchscreen
5. i flashed TOT with dll from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687768
Bricked D802 FlashTool Fail Fix

First double check that you can enter recovery. Hold the power button until the phone completely shuts down. Wait 5 seconds. Then hold power + volume down until it vibrates and LG logo shows up. Release both buttons. Then press them again quickly and hold them. You will enter recovery. Or the phone my offer to do a factory reset which btw won't happen since it will go to recovery by pressing the power button 2 more times. If you have TWRP then you are good. Install ADB on your PC and the LG drivers. When you have ADB, Download (check everything) related to JB and KK. Reboot the PC. Connect your phone with the cable. The PC will not recognize the phone. You have to use a little trick in the device manager first:
Press the windows key + pause/break and click on device manager. Right click on the faulty device with the yellow exclamation mark and hit properties then update driver. Click on the second option then from the list search for ADB or ADB device or something along those lines. Select the LG driver and hit OK. Unplug the phone. The phone must be in recovery still. Inside recovery hit advanced and look for ADB sideload. Check both checkboxes on what to wipe. If you don't already have a rom you want to flash, then use this one. It is a very stable and fast one and I only recommend it because I had the same issue as you and it worked for me. Download that rom and rename the zip file to rom.zip and copy it to the location where your adb.exe file is. You will also need the KK baseband modem otherwise auto rotation won't work. Search for it on the D802 dev thread. Now on your PC, open a command prompt inside the directory you copied the rom.zip (shift + right click) and hit "open command prompt here". Type in:
adb devices (this will ensure that your connection with the phone is alive. If you see some weird string then it works. That is the name of the phone btw)
adb sideload rom.zip

Installation will now begin. You are saved.
Of course all the above only applies if you have acces to recovery. But I wonder how could you screw that one up. It's literally a simple apk installation and a 1 button solves everything app. If you don't have recovery you can still try to save your phone with download mode. Here is a link that maybe helps but I havent tested it
And one last thing: Don't use Flashtool.
thanks man. But unfortunately no recovery. The phone ONLY goes to download mode.
I will try to flash .kdz because tot method didn't work. If .kdz fails then i don;t know.... expensive paper holder

Have the same issue on D802 G2 here. How'd you solve it?
I was dumb and tried to flash a kitkat d802 firmware onto my d801 with a d801 kernel. After leaving recovery I got stuck on a fastboot screen and couldn't get into recovery or download mode. I followed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2681089 , and was able to finally have download mode boot up (shows the phone as b100 instead of d801). I downloaded tot and dll file from here http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/D801BK/Stock_Firmware and tried to flash it on my phone. But in the LGFlashTool program it says device model is different, and shows it as a model d802 now. Am I screwed?
Hi Guys,
I stupidly restored a KK ROM over Nougat ROM without flashing the KK baseband back. As a result I get secure booting error. I now only have download mode only, No recovery. I can't connect via ADB to flash recovery as my Device manager shows that "LGE Android MTP Device" cannot start. I've installed the latest LG drivers. If I run adb devices then no devices are listed. Am I missing something as to why download mode doesn't find my phone?
I still have download mode so do I need to re-flash TOT file and if so which firmware is it? I have a D802 32GB but no idea if its SEA variant or what! Does the Firmware matter so long as it's any 32GB image? I'm worried that if I flash the wrong firmware it's truly hard bricked!
Please help....
Cheers
Ryan

You can't run adb commands if your phone's in download mode so I wouldn't worry about that. As for the variants, any one of the d802 kdz's will work but if you flash a different one you might have issues with 4g connectivity. The box your phone came in should say which region it is, maybe you just need the open eur one from this list http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G2/Stock/Lollipop/32GB/

Thank you. I've now been able to flash the correct TOT and rooted and installed nougat ROM. The problem I've got now is that the phone is stuck in TWRP. I've flashed new ROM and recovery again but no matter what I do it just keeps booting into recovery. Any idea how to fix?
Thanks for your help
Well, I searched for a solution for a long time but I couldn't find one.
I accidentally flashed CloudyG3 2.5 on my LG G2 Korean LG U+ Variant (F320L).
I got HS-USB Diagnostics 9006 on my device manager and I managed to recover it via this thread.
I couldn't use the tool right way cause they didn't have my variant, so I extracted images from F320L TOT and replaced those aboot.img, laf.img, etc.
I got into the download mode and launched LG FlashTool (the TOT FlashTool) and loaded up my TOT and DLL on the tool and attempted to flash.
BUT the error "CrossDL [F400] to [F320L]" was shown in the log.
I think this problem is caused by flashing G3 ROM on my G2, changing the model name in system partition.
I have no idea how to solve this problem.
I tried flashing all kinds of g2 dll, but failed.
I considered flashing the G3 firmware, change the information on the phone, and re-flash g2 firmware, but I think that's gonna make the problem more difficult...
I tried booting into recovery and flash g2 custom firmware, but no recovery mode.
I tried fastboot mode, but phone just says "Security Error" and won't let me get into fastboot mode.
What should I do?
Please ask me if you don't understand exact situation. Sorry for my bad english...
