Bandswitcher, whare to get it?

I've been reading posts, but i haven't been able to find the download link for this program. Any help would be appreciated.

You might have been reading, but you didn't search

For you and any other novice that happens to see this (and a few who should know better):
It took me literally a few`seconds to get the Bandswitch download location -
1
I went to the Search XDA-Developers using Google sticky post near the top of the messages listing
2
I opened the first search option and entered "bandswitch download" and clicked on search
3
Guess what - top of the list came the download location for Bandswitch! see the list I got with this quick/easy search

Now go forth and spread the word - Searching XDA-Developers is a piece of cake!!!!

why am I getting German websites?

I am in the UK, the regional settings are (obviously) set to UK and English language, I use O2, but every time I do a search on Opera, I get a list of German language websites, never English ones.
What is going on? Somehow, the browser is telling the outside world that I am in Germany, but I am not.
How do I change this?

This topic was brought up already in another thread, try using the search function next time.
It is due to the fact that O2 uses German IP addresses I believe. The original thread has more detail on the topic.

search didn't show anything - I'll try some other search terms, but thanks for the info in the mean time.

Click 'search this forum' and use german results as the search term

Sadly the answer lies in editing a hard coded file, not so easy.

I was having the same problem too. For me, the link posted above doesn't work and searching this forum for 'german results' only returns this thread.
However, I believe I have managed to fix it. My understanding of German is not good but one of the links at the bottom of the google results page turned out to be Preferences. Guess what - one of the options is Language. It seems like Google leaves a cookie or something and since I made the prefs change, all my results have been in English!

thanks for this tip - I have checked both mobile and grown-up Google, and they both show my language as English (UK) (which is correct) - I don't seem to be getting any more German pages, although I had never changed the settings.

It becomes more of a problem in the UK within certain websites.
I cannot use my phone to buy lottery tickets because the site thinks im outside the UK. It is very annoying and a solution would be gladly received

I used the search button, but i couldn´t find this special manual for samsung employes and repair centers.
Maybe you haven´t downloaded the .pdf and noticed that it´s no user manual but a technical guide.

That was actually a sarcastic comment on the fact that the service manual has already been posted a number of times and the OP had not used XDA search .

Huawei p8 how to register for warrenty

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum as I can't find a p8 thread.
If they is 1 I do apologise I must be blind lol.
Basically I have purchased a p8 and I'm yet to receive it but I was told from the seller that the first 5000 that register get the 3yr warrenty. Well I carnt find anywhere to get it registered, I carnt find nowhere on huawei site to register a phone.
I did find a site but when I try and register it says invalid imei. Is this because it hasn't been started up? As I've done imei check and it detects the phone. Also the site I found won't show my state it only lets me select a few and none are for the UK (my destination) any help will be much appreciated.
