I have a problem with my lock screen music widget. 2 days ago it was OK and now when I play music from my phone and I press the power button to turn on the screen, it show this screen instead of the widget(watch the picture below)... And then I have to swipe from right to left to find the widget, and every time i change the track, it goes again to the same screen(with the "add widget" button) and then i have to swipe again.
Any ideas how to fix it?

It looks like it's a widget problem, try uninstalling & disabling any lockscreen widget to see if that will rectify the problem.

I did disable the Multiple widgets from lock screen now it's ok, but i don't have the music widget. So, now, when i play music and press the power button to turn on the scren, the background is the album cover, but i see the clock/weather widget(normal). So i think the problem is on the multiple widget/music widget. If i don't find any solutions, i will reset my device and see if it works.

The Android 4.2.2 Lockscreen Widget functionality is till behind Widget Locker. But unlike my Samsung S3, on my new Nexus 7, I can't seem to find a way to remove the stock lock slider. In Settings > Security I have the Lock Screen set to: None I don't see an option in Widget Locker to hide/remove it. What a waste of screen real estate!

You have something wrong with your unit. That is nothing like the standard lock screen. Are you running a custom rom? I have the Security Lock screen set to 'None' and I just see my home screen when I turn on the screen.

The bottom half is stock, the top half is Widget Locker!!
Couple of tips for you?:
Try wiping your cache/dalvik.
Set lockscreen to non.
Uninstall and install Widget Locker.
Hope one of these helps !!
Duh. Just had to go into the stock locks screen editor and long press and drag the stock slider to trash.
This is going to be hard to explain but here I go.
I'm using a kitkat TW rom, by default, when you lock it and unlock it you get the clock and message original from galaxy and you can just swipe anywhere to unlock it.

If you are playing music, by default, it doesn't show the clock and message, instead it scrolls to the right and shows you the music controls.
So, we could say that it passes from showing screen 3 to show screen 4.
The problem is that in my phone it passes from showing screen 3 to show screen 2, which doesn't contain any widget. Hence, I have to swipe to the right twice to get the music controls.
Is there any way to edit the default "lock screen" that it shows when the phone is playing or not playing music?
Thanks in advance
put a widget on the screen 2

As logical as your suggestion seems, the music controls widget cannot me moved from screen nor added in a new one.
The idea is to get those controls when I unlock the device, not another widget
ok, if your lock screen have an empty pages, try to remove them
just keep the home & music lock screen
Hi
Anybody know what am doing wrong to get the widget of the smart remote on the lock screen?
it in Smart Remote app setting, it should say "Always show remote control on lockscreen" some like that.
I have done that. As well as the application reset, clear cache and date.
Yep I've got the same problem but the funny thing is it DID work for the 1st few days I had the phone.
I'm pretty sure I lost the lock screen widget when my phone updated to ANE2.
I've tried both smart remote and WatchON and neither widgets appear on the lockscreen.
They do both work on the notification panel though
It works fine for me on an ne2 base. Apart from having it toggled on have you selected what device you want it to use

Dumb question where do you select which room for the widget? I can't find it
There is solution for my one. Open smart remote, go to remote screen buttons and leave app by pressing the "home button" instead the "back"
I asked developers few times never told the word
Here's a nagging Android riddle I'd like to understand just out of curiosity, as opposed to researching an 'issue' that needs to be resolved. We all have better things to do (laundry, pull weeds, floss) than to make a case out of this post.
I'll ask anyway.
In my graphic the shortcut on the left shows normal behavior from the Settings widget in Oreo. The shortcut on the right, however, just showed up on the home screen out of nowhere. I'm clueless about how it got there and why it has color. Is anybody familiar with this?

I think it's a spyware from mobile-tracker-free.com . Coz I used it before and it comes as the name of WiFi in the settings to avoid attention of the user.

It's not spyware. But mystery solved. The peculiar green shortcut is an Oreo feature.
In my case it showed up by accident. Here's how it's done on purpose:
Long-press the Settings app icon until a pop-up box appears with a short list of widget items that can be dragged to the home screen. In my case there are only 3 options -- battery, data usage and wi-fi.
There are similar effects by long-pressing other apps like Gmail and Messages.
Damn thing woke twice in my pocket, first weather, I locked the screen with the side button put in my pocket start grilling again moving around I pulled my phone out of the pocket to take a picture and the google phone app is up with a bunch of nines pressed.
Long time ago I was doing yard work which just brought this to my attention moving around I hear music and in the middle of cornfields I hear the music coming from my pocket, damn phone opened itself and start playing the music player.
Touch protection was enabled and still was.
I just disabled on display screen and double tap to wake screen I'm tired of it.
And I removed the phone shortcut on my lock screen so I don't know how the phone app popped up with the dial pad.

I see how music start playing.
I disabled the widget. I just start tapping all over the lock screen Hit the clock and bam look at the screenshots I disabled all this.
I still have no clue how the phone popped up.
