sms in call log - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I am on a custom rom with root and everything using xposed.
Can somebody tell me or point me in any direction to get rid of the SMS in call logs? I kind of hate it!
EDIT: I found an app called Samsung Log Converter 4+ in Play store. It's free and working on S5!

Phone Fusion problem!

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help me out. I installed Phone Fusion so that I could have Visual Voicemail for my HD2 and it works great except that for each voicemail I get sent a text message with PFMA followed by many random numbers. This is quite annoying and I was wondering if anyone knew how to stop the text messages from coming in. Or is there a way to block the specific number that they are calling from so I dont get them or at least see them. Thanks!
Any help any1?
Anyone please?
have you contacted the makers of the software ?

Lost visual voicemail app

Hey everyone. I just installed cyanogen mod 6.1 rc1 on my evo a few weeks ago and unfortunately lost the visual voicemail app I had before. I loved that thing and never realized how convenient it was till I lost it. Does anyone know if there's a way I can get it back?
Thanks.

Here you go!
Omg thank you so much! I also keep getting these stupid text messages from "9016" telling me to call a number whenever I get a voicemail. Do you know what that's all about and how I can make it stop?
No prob You'll still get those messages. It's just one of those quirks that you need to deal with when running an AOSP ROM. I have MIUI and I get them too. The only way to prevent them is by using a 3rd party sms app like Chomp or a call blocker app like Blacklist. Blacklist has been working fine for me.
Ok cool. Thanks again for your help. I appreciate it
Happy to help!

I need a Voicemail recommendation ASAP please!

I do NOT want Google Voice or YouMail. Let me get that out there right away. I also don't want to have to explain why several times, so just know up front I do not want either of them. I've tried them both and I do not like them.
I'm on MidNIGHT ROM 5.3. For some reason I am no longer receiving VM notifications of any kind. Nothing visual, nothing audible. When I go in VM it says it is trying to access my account but it fails every time. I check for a VM upgrade & it says "general fail".
After an hour on the phone with Sprint they want me to go to a repair center & do a hard reset on my phone. I do not want to do that for 2 reasons: 1) I don't want them to discover that my phone is rooted and 2) I don't want to deal with setting everything up again. Even if everything is backed up it still takes time to get it back to where it was. Don't want to deal with that.
So what I am looking for is a voicemail app that most closely replicates the stock Android voicemail app. I don't need anything fancy...I just want something that is going to notify me when someone leaves a message.
Please help me out and suggest away!
Thanks!!!
Took awhile, but I found one. It's a free app called "Visual Voicemail +". So far it seems to be working well. So if anyone finds themselves in this situation with the stock app this is a good option!
hullomail smart voicemail. Works great. doesn't transcribe but that never works well anyway. I bought the paid version so I could record custom greetings for callers but free works fine too.

[Q] Problem with Google Now

This only started recently, but I can't send SMS through Google Now voice commands, which is nice to be able to do while driving. So maybe Google is trying to kill me? Anyway, whenever I tell it to text someone, it tells me "No SMS app installed" I couldn't find anyone else who had this issue.
should I roll back to a previous version of Now, find a new SMS app, or find a new way to send text using voice commands?
UPDATE: Using a different SMS app does not work, I installed 5 different apps and even tried Hangouts, that isn't the problem
same here
I just started having the same issue on samsung gs3. watching this post to see if anyone resolves.
I've got the same problem here with note 1

CM13 & Visual Voice Mail App?

So, now that I have CM13 working successfully (again), is there any way to get the Visual Voicemail app? ( com.motorola.visualvoicemail ) Play store won't let me download it, citing "incompatibility" (Suuuuuure it is....), and the only app download site I can find that seems to be reuputable (evozi) never has devices to fetch it or returns api errors. Is there any good way to get this app on my phone? Or am I out of luck?

I went through the same thing with PhoenixROM. Got the apk and loaded it, then restored Verizon SSO and still would get errors every time I tried to delete a voicemail. I took the advice of others and tried YouMail as a replacement for visual voicemail. I miss the VZW icon changing with the number of messages, but YouMail sends an email and a notification when I get a voicemail. I don't like it as much but it's free and I can now eliminate all Verizon software from my phone, so I'm happy. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but YouMail (and I'm sure there are others) is an acceptable substitute for me.
