[Q] Selinux disabled? missing? CM11 - Droid X General

Does SElinux not come on CM11? what is the process to enforcing it? I have tried clicking it a bunch of times, using the APK that turns it to enforce. Using the terminal to attempt to switch it on. All give me either disabled/missing errors?
I do not have gapps if that is relevent.
Thank you for your help guys lerking long time just never had a question no one has already answered in detail/length.

remove/disable irplane mode warning

Trying to figure out how to remove this ridiculous thing. Who doesn't know what airplane mode is? I've heard you can remove this and the volume warning with xposed but I can't seem to find that option in xposed. i've attached a screen shot of the warning. I'm rooted and running the latest jelly bean ROM. sorry, this has probably been discussed before but i was unable to find it.

If you've installed the Xposed Framework the Wanam Module will allow you to disable the pop-up, it's listed under the Notification Panel settings.

Thanks, after reading your post I did find the option. I checked the option, restarted, and I'm still seeing the pop up when I toggle airplane mode. Weird....

I just tried it and it worked for me on Baja ROM. Did you enable the Wanam module in the Xposed settings? It may not help but you might want to try clearing cache and dalvik, it's worth a shot.
Here is a screen shot of the pop up after the reboot with the option checked. For some reason I was unable to post the pic from tapatalk

Actually not sure how to enable the Wanam module from the settings. But, when I tried to find the settings I went in to custom Settings-Xposed framework mods. When clicked on wanam xposed custom Settings failed and closed. I'll try going into safestrap and clearing cache and dalvik
Well, I ended flashing hyperdrive so I'll post back once I get the phone set up and I get around to tweaking

In the Xposed framework installer under the Modules section you need to put a check mark next to the modules you want activated.
Thanks for the hep, guys. Yesterday I ended up flashing hyperdrive and it already has that pop up diabled. Great ROM so far!!!!

[Q] [LRX21T] Viper 4 Android on Lollipop

Has anyone gotten V4A working on Lollipop yet? I've tried installing it and I don't get any of the effects, and if I put it in FX compatible mode I get no sound at all. I know I got proper Root and I have installed BusyBox, I've tried all three sound modes as well so I'm drawing a blank on what to do.
Has anyone managed to get it to work? All help and any help are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
download selinux mode changer from the play store and set it to permissive, on viper set to compatible mode and check force enable v4a

This worked flawlessly and only took a minute! Thought I had to do a big workaround! Thanks!
Just one question if you have the time, what is SELinux and should I be extra careful of sketchy software now that it's turned off? Cause I'm assuming it's turned on for security reasons right?

When can we get ROMs that supports SELinux Enforcing? Or can we 'fake' it?

The ROM development is blooming, and I love that Kudos tp all developers!
However, I am using a mobile banking app that firmly requires me to have my SELinux state as Enforcing, but every ROM still has to be Permissive in order to work properly. When I change it to enforcing by an app, FP sensor and lock screen, button backlights and many other doesn't work.
Can some dev tell me why is this? can we have a ROM that has SELinux enforcing in the near future? If we can't, is there a way to fool an app into thinking that I have Enforcing mode?
Thanks in advance!!
You can use magisk to enable this via an module you find for download.
But this will disable the fingerprint reader. (at least on the RR rom it happend so.)
You have to live with stock til it's fixed

SELinux

Hi,
I'm wondering, does a factory wipe from recovery reset SELinux status back to enforcing ?
Sometime before I tried rooting my phone without unlocking the bootloader using the engineering mode app one my oneplus 5 but it didnt work. As of a few days ago my banking app does not work anymore and I think it is because SELinux status is set to permissive. I don't have root so its proving difficult to reset this back to default, even after flashing a stock rom (although I didnt wipe?)
Anyone have any ideas ?
Thanks

Can't make viper4android work on OnePlus 8 Pro (11.0.8.8IN11BA)

The screenshot is in Spanish but I hope it still understandable. I've tried some solutions posted in the forum but I still didn't manage to make it work.

Most of OnePlus phones need this app with Viper to make it work.
Press permissive botton.
If you are on stock OOS rom rooted you may need to disable battery optimization both Viper & This app.
My common steps.
Install this app enable permissive , then reboot.
Install Viper module in Magisk.
Run Viper app grant root then ok phone will auto reboot.
Run Viper again setting and enable lagacy option.
Done.
Viper Status will become normal.
In case the SELinux changer apk does not work for you, try this:
[MODULE] Debugging modules: ADB Root, SELinux Permissive, Enable Eng | XDA Forums (xda-developers.com)
Ensure you have Magisk, download the selinux_permissive_v2.zip and install it. For me it worked great.
I don't know what I did, I didn't change nothing on the SeLinux app, but today after uninstalling viper and installing it from an APK instead of from magisk I turned on Legacy mode and started working perfectly.
Is there anyway to see if I turned SeLinux to permissive unintentionally or something?

No never. SELinux should be in enforcing.
Type "getenforce" in terminal to see selinux mode.
