are there any kernels for the new kitkat bootloader? if not are there any plans for it?

I have recently flashed S4 snapdragon with 4.3 FW. Now that I want to install custom rom onto it. (Going to root with chainfire autoroot and I am not worried about the knox flag.) But since the bootloader is locked , will i be able to unlock it? For the purpose of flashing custom zip (via recovery) an unlocked bootloader is needed? If not can i downgrade the FW to 4.2.2 in Odin by any chance?
im on cm11 rom, 4.3 bootloader... i like to update my modem via ODIN (modem package only)..is that possible, 4.4 modem on 4.3 bootloader?

So i have a 910F running kyubi rom (i never upgraded beyond coj5 bootloader because it locks the bootloader and does not allow downgrading) My question is is it possible to downgrade from Marshmallow N910FXXU1DPE1_N910FBTU1DPE1_BTU to lollipop 5.0.1 or kitkat? has anyone tried it? Please help me out.
