I've been facing this issue for more than four weeks.
I have this phone for 1 year and 5 months and I never had this problem before.
What happens? Sometimes, all of a sudden, I try to receive/make calls and I can't hear the person.
The person is able to hear me, I am able to hear the person with earphones and speaker but not from the top speaker(receiver/dont know how it's called)..
The very first time it has ever happened, I was running CM 11 Snapshot.
I've found a temporary solution for this, whenever this happens, I dial *#0*# to reach the Samsung testing app, then I press the 'Receiver' button on the screen, and I hear the Receiver noice perfectly, and voi-la, I am able to hear the calls again. Everytime I do this procedure, the calls work properly and I can hear everything perfectly.
What I've made so far to try fixing it:
* Totally wipe data/cache.
* Flash custom ROMs
* Flash stock ROM
None of these worked.
I am totally curious about WHAT can be happening, it does NOT look like a hardware problem to me, do you have any suggestions before I ask someone to replace the phone? Is there any procedure I can automatically set the phone to make everytime I reboot it? (So I don't have to *#0*# everytime).

I have almost the same situation.
And in that case, if i press abort button while "talking" - some noise sound for a 0.5-1second.
Thanks for *#0*# will try. I had to rebooting device every time.
Such issue on stock, on Arrow ROMS

Its a bit laggy and somethimes unstable, but what the hell

1) copy 'HTCAPI.dll' in ure 'windows' folder of ur HD
2) install 'Diamond Ati d3d driver.cab'
3) install 'DiamondHologram v2.02.CAB'

Thanks, works good, unfortunately you have to hold it leveled. I would expect it will reset from the position where you hold it when you start it.
There is some issue with GSen, do you know window class name so I can exclude it?
The window class is "#NETCF_AGL_BASE_"

could it be possible, that after the installation i on´t have the telephone slider anymore? only the green and red fileds are visible; but no slider!?!

Interesting... I have these drivers cooked into my ROM and when I demo the app and then use Opera I never (read not even once) have had an issue with hanging... Not sure why we are seeing different behavior

I guess reversing the registry change might work?
Or do I also have to remove HTCApi.dll ?
I've resolved uninstalling d3d drivers, now opera works fine

i'd install drivers and the application but they don't work very well... for example the anti-aliasing doesn't work well and the refresh of the picture is slow

It can, if you give me the name of the software, which enables / disables airplane mode... and the text editing is no problem....

Hello, I'm having a problem, my Wakelock Detector detects a lot of wake time (72%) by a kernel wakelock named "wlan_wake" and I don't really know how to solve it! I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 with the 4.3 android version, official release, and this started to happend less than a week ago. I cleaned cache and dalvik, I tryed to let the wifi always off, and nothing worked... Solutions?

Did you recently install viber ?
Viber is known cause of keeping wifi on while the phone is in sleep mode. you can easily Greenify it.
Go to settings wifi advanced settings and disable wifi search whlie wifi is off (sory dont know the right name because I use miui
This disables the search for wifi networks while the wifi is off its a know issue in android 4.3

I would suggest doing a full wipe on your ROM or trying a different kernal. By the way, using CAPS and a lot of !!!!!!! will just make people not want to help you.

I'm sharing my first clean ROM with 651.7 MB for any S5 900FD / 900MD.
- Removed almost all Samsung Apps
- Included Xposed [Wanam Xposed, Youtube Adway], SuperSU, Busybox, RootExplorer, AdAway, Ligth Manager, Viper4Android and others.
- All partitions will be cleaned during installation, except /sdcard and /sdcard -ext

We are a lot who have bought a "Umidigi Plus E". It's a correct phone, but we are facing to a bluetooth issue (unstable). We told the problem a lot of time to Umidigi, but we don't have any update which fix the bluetooth since his release ! Just minor updates. They really don't care about us :-/
There is a dev wo can help us ?
Here's the problem/symptoms :
In a car (for example), we can pair our phone easely. But one or two days later, the phone can't pair again to the bluetooth headset OR the voice don't come from the bluetooth system.
When "connected", we cannot tick "Phone audio" :

1) Parameter
2) Application
3) Tap on the three dots (right and top the screen)
4) "Show system process" (thing like this)
5) Tap on "Bluetooth share" or "Bluetooth Shared"
6) Tap on "storage"
7) Delete data & clear cache
