Still no fast scroll.. Not so great.
Installed force fastscroll through xposed installer and that still doesn't resolve it. Strange since before fastscroll did randomly appear, rare but it did.
Most important:
You can now use the Widget in non-Sony launchers. YAYYY!
If Sony did the same to Photo, Clock, Weather and it would be great!

I can install the apk posted here. But still wanted to know why the update is not showing by itself...
Seems like something is messed up with update center in. 314 rom, i installed back my factory rom. 402 and i got update for walkman, album.....

Yeah, since Sketch is updated via Update Center, there shouldn't be any problem with Update Center on .314. Maybe the Walkman app update is for those on .402 firmware.

Here as well. Only this Sketch update (I never use this childish app).
Even the 314 users should get recent update for walkman etc… This problem has been already reported in Sony support forum. Hoping to see a fix from sony soon.

Just updated via SEUS to the latest f/w R2BA026 thinking that it could only improve upon the existing performance
However my mediscape experience has actually become worse ...Now the photo browsing does not scroll in a smooth manner (as introduced in in the 020 / 023 version) ...
While browsing photos I get the circular 'thinking' animation everytime & I feel it is taking longer to switch between photos
Anyone else faced this issue yet? Any suggestions..please help
Mediascape is faster for me lol, maybe do a factory reset.
I can confirm that mediascape is much faster for me after 026 update.

Do you know how to remove a track out of the mediascape's song lists? I installed HAWX3#. After that, mediascape loaded all the sound files from the game's data folder. Now, in the song list, there are about 550 sound file from the game. This is really suck
I guess i will have to re-install the firmware again using the repair option in SEUS .. its just not clicking for me at the moment.

yeah I see what you mean, although once its cached the image it does the regular sliding animation. bit weird, before I think it slid with reduced quality and then sharpened it up, which imo is better as you see the image sooner.

Try use a file manager, go to the games directory where the sound files are located then insert a file called .nomedia (no other file extensions or data needed) n c what happens!

Just finished doing a factory reset ... & now i can confirm too that the problem i was facing is gone!! Swiping images is now smooth !!
However i have to mention ..the proces was a pain......i spent the last two hours re-tagging all my photos, restoring backups, installing apps, setting accounts & widgets and wat not !!!!
Also i forgot the name name of an app ( a data toggle widget which looked like a lever switch )
I was wondering what people have gotten to work and not work. I would like to see a nice rom for this.
I got some of the features of timescape to work .
i could not get the widget part to work though..
I figured out that the event viewer in the apps folder work with the timescape .
So if you just install the timescape. It will be work ask to tap the screen and be blank. So i nstalled the event viewer with phone calls and telephony and loaded back up the timescape and it worked perfect.
I dont use twitter so i dont know if it works and i couldnt get fackbook to sync it fc on me.
I couldnt find mediascape yet. so couldnt test it

The app didn't change at all, nor did any of the /system/lib/libcamera* files.
The only related file that does have some changes is libcalh_hal.so, which has mentions to messages related with thumbnails, exposure, etc. I don't know what changes are those, nor what modifications exist on the kernel / driver side, if any.
it was best change-log so far...

After update I have no sound on my tv set thru mhl cable can someone confirm this?
Im also having problems with wifi tethering. Can be temporarily fixed by turning data on-off but comes back after a while... and honestly, its getting a bit irritating. Could it be from the new modem?

RAM Bug is not fixed, it keeps frozing, crashing, slowing and bugging all the stuff that runs on this phone. Clean installation, really sad.

Did you do the full clean installation? Like software repairing on pcc? Let me know if the BE2 album app is works after repairing software
full instalation, wiping and cleaning all the stuff. I flashed the FTF using flashtool64, my bootloader is unlocked so i can't test the Bravia Engine 2 right now. Tomorrow i'll update a XSP BL from an friend and i can test it if BE2 is working. I hope it works

Mine is locked bootloader but my BE2 album seems not working i've rooted mine when it's on .254 . Let me know if your friend XSP's BE2 album is working

Bugs not Fixed :
1. Installation/Uninstallation progress bar graphics bug still available (How silly of Sony not to fix this small but annoying bug. It's really shameful)
2. There is still screen flickering bug when waking up the screen (if stamina mode is enabled)
3. Still i can't see any Bravia Engine in album (If anybody has the time then please double check this)
4. White Balance setting still returns to default if phone is rebooted (both manually and by force reset)
5. Still there is lag with scrolling and problem with navigation button transparency in a specific menu (Settings -> Xperia)
6. I don't know if this falls into the topic but i backed up my save game data using Helium to my external sd card but now i can't restore my save data. It says 'there is an error occurred when restoring game data' .... Have not faced this problem before. Any ideas ?
Bugs Fixed :
1. Volume slider graphics bug when using custom theme
2. Rhythmic Led bug in walkman when volume is full
3. Battery life seems to be improved by a little margin
4. Ram management seems to have improved a little bit but can't be sure though because i had lots of apps and games installed before and now its an empty phone
5. Screen flickering only happened to me when i tried to wake up the phone from deep sleep during the use of stamina mode in previous firmware and it's still the same to me. I don't know if its a bug or not but according to the op, it has been fixed
6. Never had any problems with overheating even after heavy gaming for like 30-40 minutes but the op said so himself that it has been fixed so i guess it's good
It really seems like Sony has not been listening (again) to their consumers complaint. I have been a hell of a fan of Sony Ericsson since the days of T610 but this might as well be my last Sony phone. They are very poor in providing software updates, rom optimizations and bug fixes which is not to be expected from a brand like Sony. After all these complaint, they have just fixed a small number of bugs which is very disappointing... And um sure that if they provide kitkat for XSP after all, then it will be a very buggy one and we wont even get a bug fix update because our 18 months of support time will come to an end by then

Then disable cameracommon and semccamera under the all apps tab in settings. Adding of the shortcuts can be done on pretty much any launcher you will have to locate it for your respective launcher. The shortcut is labeled Camera and from there you select the needed apps. (IMPORTANT! MAKE SURE TO ADD SHORTCUTS BEFORE DISABLING CAMERA COMMON, AS THE SHORTCUT DISAPPEARS ONCE DISABLED)

(Fair warning depending on you devices specs the install can be excruciatingly long just WAIT for the process to finish DO NOT pull the battery thinking its stuck!

Galaxy S4mini (CM11)
all camera apps at launch show "camera common stopped working" after click on OK app continue, but (for example) in Motion Shot after recording
app stop working, Background defocus after taking photo shows problem with background defocus and then again "camera common stopped working". Sony Select crash after launch. Thats all i got, i hope you will be able to fix at least background defocus app, im really waiting for working port. Thanks for your work btw

No problem but as illustrated in the op alot can be fixed by disabling camera common and yes im ware of the issue with sony select still looking into it thanks for your feedback

Currently has only been tested on AOSP if u are willing to try on another firmware please inform me of whether it works or not and if something goes wrong i will not be accounted responsible. FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK! . Though generally speaking if anything goes wrong it can be reverted by a clean flash
Instructions
1, Download and Flash zip through recovery
2. It is a common issue that superior auto and manual are broken, as well as constant force closing of the cameraui and the camera common if you happen to encounter this make shortcuts of all camera apps provided on the home screen of your launcher. Then disable cameracommon and semccamera under the all apps tab in settings.

Yes of course, currently all apps are of the latest version. Which is why I've stated the version next to the apps

Just some things to report:
AR effect for LINE works flawlessly
Can't find normal AR Effect (One with the dinosaurs etc.) in app drawer or anywhere
Sony camera FC
BG Defocus works flawlessly
MotionShot FCs after recording
Motiongraph works nicely as well
SocialLive works well
Wikitude places works nicely as well
The following apps which I can't find in the app drawer:
AR Effect (The normal one)
Info-eye
Voice Balloon Photo
A very nice job though!

I going to agree with zero I've tested the Sony Camera apps and having the same experience though I appreciate the work making me love my Nexus 5 running these Sony only apps via C-Rom 6.3 (4.4.2 CM Based)
I flash on my rom tw note 3 but not working!

Yup there are still some Fc's thanks for the feedback to get the effects missing like Ar effect just go to widgets then shortcuts or for Sony launcher hold on the screen hit apps and then shortcut select the camera and add for all the effects listed there afterwards you can disable camera common and the camera app. Make sure to disable the Camera common after making of shortcuts from there on out its retty much functional without any fc's allowing to use cool functions like background defocus.
Btw Zeroinfinity you are amazing absolutely loved Purexaudio for the Z back in the 4.1.2 days wish you never had to leave. Truly amazing to day its the best sounding mod for the Z . So thanks for that mod, never got to thank you before as i was not part of xda when you left, the guys over at the Htc One thread are lucky to have you :good:
