Problem Repencis 3.5

Hi friends after flashing repencis my Mobile softbrick my phone running on ddlc2 can any one help me I need this rom please help

After installing this we r unable to receive any text msgs and even unable to send then through way2sms sender apps.....

i think you must flash to the newest firmware and then you flash the cusrom

Follow the instructions correctly. That's what you should do. Can you describe step by step what you are doing so that I can debug?
Also, general section is intended for discussions. Post in q & a section or faq thread for queries.

same problem here. i try dxlf1 ddle1 but still stuck on boot (the samsung galaxy y logo not the samsung one) can any1 help? by the way i follow the instruction completely it still stuck. tried to reflash again. but still the same.
EDIT: is rooting required before flashing this rom? bcoz when i try to flash it without rooting it was successful. by the way i used dxlc1.

Now I was on repencis 3.5 I just flash the ddkj firmware vai Odin and then its successfully installed but thanks you guys

i think it is done by samsungs rotationservice.apk...i donno where to find it

dim wit....there isn't samsungrotationservice.apk in the stock and stock based roms.

Yes....and I am also failed to find it in sgy...:what:
I think rotation service contrrolled by framework_res.apk and framework.jar....But I am not fully conform for it.

Nothing found of my related topic....I tried it with many topics...but nothing found.
I think it is in framework,but not sure......

it controlled by "libsurfaceflinger.so" and "libsurfaceflinger_client.so" located at system/lib

Go to CWM recovery....n format ur data/cache/system, then Flash DDLK via Odin.

Its not display problem buddy my sgy is working properly problem is only white screen on startup and in download mode
But download mode works while flashing odin

My phone was in warranty.They'll replace the motherboard I suppose.Just call the service center and tell them about your problem.They'll tell you the solution.

Wht motherboard means upto 4000 rs charged it will be

I too have the same problem , what to do , white screen on both cwm and down mode , please share if anyone know the method ,

just switch off your phone.then press and hold power+volume down+home botton.now white screen appears I know wait a few seconds and press volume up key.Next connect ur mobile with odin.You are in download mode.now flash new pit and bootloader file for s5360 via odin dont forget to check the bootloader update botton.You will get back your sgy logo.

Package installer prob...

Guys need some info ...i use sgy &
I just replaced my package installer (stock) with hyperion 9 package installer and then it shows fc s while installing something ...so i rolled back to package installer(sgy pro dous's package installer...) and nw it is nt working.....wat shud i do...
So i've 2 doubts
1) y hyperion 9 package installer showing fcs
2) y sgy pro duos package installer nt working
Shud i have to use sgy package installer only.???..
Can any 1 attach that apk file plss

how did you install it? did you set the correct permissions
best way is just to use system app installer from the play store to install system apps

I assume you restarted your phone after installing - you need to restart your phone after installing or changing most system apps

Same prob occurs all the time...wenever i install sgy pro duos package installer(using sys installer) no such app is there in system/app ...even after restart
I manually changed its permissions to r-w and moved its apk in system/app and den installed and rebooted ...
No change :'(

why are you installing the pro duos package installer on 5360?
it most likely uses different libs and files to control it - only flash system apps that are meant for your phone
if you are having problems flash stock rom via odin or try this package installer - I think its from stock rom but I have so many files I cant remember

Media replaced

I replaced my stock media with that of hyperion 9 media(full folder)
Will it change the notifications..ui and all that sounds to that of hyp 9???

Yeah

But it didnt ....instead my sound went off ...no click sound ..battery charging sound.....etc....
It comes for some secs and vanishes away ...

1) Have you set permissions to rw-r--r--?
2) Make sure that the filenames of the Hyperion audio files match those of the stock audio files.
Other than that, I'm not too sure...
Rebooting might help, but that is not guaranteed.

And i've named it xactly the same......can u snd me the ss of the audio clip(.ogg format) so that i can c d names...
And when we zip hyp 9 these only come in media...that time it works ...
Idk ...any sol??

The build.prop sets the default for your ringtone media and alarm
for example
Code:
ro.config.ringtone=Over_the_horizon_Default_ringtone.ogg
ro.config.notification_sound=13_Whistle_Default_message.ogg
ro.config.alarm_alert=Alarm_Buzzer.ogg
you can use this app to manually replace other system sounds if the file names are different or its not working

each and every file
thats why its better to flash them in cwm because then you can set the permissions in one go in the updater script

depends - if new files yes - if just changing a permission maybe not - depends if the file is pre loaded - always best to restart after making changes
