I'm curious as to why I haven't seen any one developing an android L build for G2. I've searched google for hours trying to find something but I've only been able to find some spanish sight with one post about how he's "developing" a ROM but nothing else. Isn't any one else exited about L?!?
Because it's an incomplete developer preview, would be a massive waste of time, it's better to wait for the official release and then start working an a usable ROM

So it's coming soon
This is for the Butterfly.
Yes but here in xda-developers we have many skilled devs who will accept the challenge and port it for One.

it shouldn't be very hard anyway, fortunately they have the same screen resolution so it doesn't require a lot of resizing...
I think the One will be officialy updated to Android 4.2.2 before the Butterfly

Exactly and it felt like this would get more eyes in the international section then hidden away in the sprint section.

I think it will probably come out within a couple of months, so yea the N4 will probably get 4.3 first
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
the n4 will get the 4.3 first, it has 1 week left to be released so...
I'd rather HTC skip 4.2.2 and go directly to 4.3
HTC is doing a developer presentation at the Google I/O for features not available on 4.2.2... A number of sites suggested that this means these features will be included in 4.3. But this also means HTC has access to the code of the next Android revision, and hopefully this mean they are already working on a 4.3 update for the One.

Never, the latest releases are always reserved for Nexus devices, plus thanks to HTC bloatware it'll take months of work to overload it. I'll wait for the 4.3 AOKP for One.

The things that were leaked were long before 4.2.0 was released. There was numerous talks about it. It's just a rehash from last year.

Those were pretty major bugs, and cross-chip winzip ports ALWAYS fail to go much further than "boots to lockscreen".

If no one word do that, the rom won't appear magically like you seem to think.
CM aren't working on it, fine but let other do something for the 9500.

Hey guys! After finally finding out that i will be moving to Verizon (Finally after 4 years of T-mobile) i will be purchasing the Galaxy Note 3 and would like to begin development. First i want to say that i am very excited and thrilled to be able to develop for you guys! I do have a few questions so i can see how im going to plan out the development.
Is DSIXDA's Kitchen Supported for this GN3?
Any CM Builds Out There?
What do you guys want to see in a ROM?
It will be a couple of weeks before i will officially have the device in my hands but I am planning early. I do have ROM development skills and have a good background of it. (Check my signature for some of my work). I take pride in being one of the younger developers on these forums and its very cool to get to do what i do and enjoy it. Please help me by answering these questions for me. Also if there are any ROM devs that see this please comment or PM me because i would really like to get to know you! Thanks again guys!

Not sure what DSIXDA's Kitchen is.
No CM do to most of us having a locked bootloader, there's 20 people with the dev edition but most of us have retail and use safe strap to loads roms. (which I prefer anyway because of the multi boot)
I want to see something amazing
welcome to the party and verizon, you will amazed how good verizon service is, even though verizon is a d bag!!!!!

Oh i didn't know there were 2 different Note 3s. I haven't officially purchased the Note 3 yet but I do plan on buying it through Verizon with a 2yr contract. Do they offer the Dev edition with a 2yr contract? If so i will probably go with that one instead of the retail version.

It's called Eclipse (ROM); the developer is "Nitro." There's a bounty thread in the General forum. It's Touch wiz based but the look is AOSP, menus, apps, everything. Not just holo blue themed. (And still keeps touchwiz "S-features")

This. The only notes that would see this would be developer edition because of full recovery and working kernels. And yeah build one off stock kernel would be very impressive if it's even possible. Surprised nobody has even beta or alpha builds for any carrier though

It is still early. Give the devs some time. They are working on Aosp. We will get many of them soon. Once the bump tool will be avalible(thanks to team Code fire for that) development will shift up. Nexus 6 will have too many aosp however too big for my taste.

You should've also seen that we've pretty much only just had the bootloader "bumped" and we've gotta wait until the devs of that let us know how to "bump" a custom kernel. Until then we can only flash stock based roms with the stock kernel, so there's no real chance of anything aosp happening (that isn't tethered, anyway) until then
