First & formost, This is my first thread & I am not a Dev and therefore not responsible for Anything you may do to your device. (ie,Brick) That being said, I love the VANIR/COMMOTIO ROMS and have missed it since deciding to flash KK on my xt926. The new bootloader would only allow me to flash ROMs with the 3.4 KK based kernel... And those ROMS all currently have issues with that new kernel. Fortunately thanks to Derek Hunter, there is now a test build available if you are on or know how to flash back to the JB kernel. Again, Test Build, so you know the drill. fully agree glad to have some recent version - I wasn´t too crazy about DHOs design, but I feel "unflashed" on nuke´s build for the past 4 weeks, so I may give it another go just to flash something.. LOL
I will testing right now! I really miss Vanir and Commotio. Thanks..
Well, Commotio boots but with infinite aosp keyboard fc and the back button (<-) it's not working..

I had that issue in the past with a gapps package that wouldn't play nicely with DHOs rom.
Try PA micro or DHO gapps on the same site... I am planning on flashing tonight when I get home, will let you know, if I run into the same error.

It's been a long time since there was an official build. I think I will share my build for now until the build infra is running again.
Do NOT report any issue in the main CM nightly thread. You have been warned!
You can however report issues here, and pray somebody will listen to them.

Again, you have been warned!
FAQ
Q. What does the test folder mean?
A. It will be unofficial builds with additional commits from developers which are not yet approved to go into CM. There is probably a good reason why it didnt get merged yet, so you are warned!
Q. Is this build faster than latest nightly?
A. This build is fast, but probably not faster than latest nightly
Q. Is battery life better then latest nightly?
A. This build battery life is good, but probably not better than latest nightly
Q. What does updated WIFI driver do?
A. Nothing, I removed it.
Q. What has been added/changed since last build?
A. Check Changelog for latest changes.
Q. Can i flash this over my currently nightly?
A. Yes you can flash this over a nightly just like you do with another nightly
Q. Where did the KANG go?
A. It got replaced by UNOFFICIAL to prevent misunderstanding.
Thanks a lot! I think this should become the place to share our Kang builds with the rest of the world.

Probably better to have 2 places, one to discus how to build a KANG, and one (this one) to discus posted KANGS. Both have different audiences, people who like to build and people who like to flash.

Hi, what are the differences between this and a cm7 nightly?
Can I flash this over nightly 181?
Thanks in advance
It is updated until the 8th of December. Safe to flash over 181, just another update plus an addon as stated in the op (updated wifi driver from zach).
Basically it contains almost all changes from the changelog for nightlies..

Ok thanks. I installed it, it works pretty well, but still has got a bug present in nightly 181... The fade effect when you unlock the lockscreen is not present. Could you try to fix it? Thanks!

It uses the same sources as CM7, and it uses the same build process.
The only thing different is the updated WIFI driver which zach and fugumod uses, and of course the recent changes which are not inside the latest nightly's.
So you can assume the following:
* This build is fast, but probably not faster than latest nightly 181
* This build battery life is good, but probably not better than latest nightly 181
* Maybe the WIFI signal could be better, but you will have to find that our yourself.
* Check Changelog for latest changes compared to latest nightly 181
* Yes you can flash this over a nightly just like you do with another nightly
Enjoy
This is a unified build for retail (xt1031, xt1032, xt1033, and xt1034) and Google Play Edition (xt1032). Full dual sim support is working.

Its a bug in CM that started around the 20-07 builds, there have been various commits that have supposedly fixed the issue for some moto g's but not others. I'm gonna take a guess and say that slim rom is based (entirely or partly) on CM and because the audio issue still hasn't been fixed for CM it wont be fixed for other roms based of it, your best bet is to flash the AudioFixV3 which changes the audio blobs/files back to the last nightly (20-06 i believe) that didn't have the audio issues. Note that this file was meant for CM so i don't know how it will effect other roms.

It is nightly.
So for whatever reason, Cyanogen has removed all CM11 nightlies from their servers. Some people are quite upset at this. I know I was. The last Slimkat stable gave me problems, and the CM12 nightlies are a work in progress. I eventually gave in and began sampling various Lollipop ROMs. Now I've found out that someone was kind enough to post it on Google Drive. Here's the link:
cm-11-20150105-NIGHTLY-bacon.zip
I checked the integrity of the file. The MD5 matches up to the one listed on Cyanogen's website. Enjoy. Here's the MD5 to see if it downloads OK on your side.
md5sum: 7cb44264cc5386dba24c8687c0e8e4cb
If this link goes down, I will repost the file myself.
Oh, and I ask any and all devs who want to screw with this nightly to go right ahead. If it has any problems or features you want added, it's up to the community to add them.
BUGS:
-The screen has a really hard time waking up both through DT2W and the power button. This can be fixed by turning "Prevent accidental wake-up" off in Display settings. This bug is also present in the last Slimkat stable. >_<

Actually, I can't stake credit for the 44S addons. I can't remember where I got them from; they didn't have a dedicated thread. As far as I can remember somebody wanted them and somebody else threw together this zip. I'm assuming that the fact that they are sourced from the last KitKat OTA helps with the compatibility part.

Yes thats what i'm doing, putting boot.img in a empty flashable zip for unicornblood & replacing the boot.img in the blissful/candy kernel zips.
You can also just copy the boot.img (rename to whatever kernel it is) to the internal storage and flash with TWRP or Flashify.
Has anyone here had the problem where certain kernels will not boot but just go straight to hboot. The problem seems random and it drives me nuts! My favorite rom, built by a good friend of mine, is CyanideL but the Dev does not have the m8 and can't figure out why it happens for some and not others even on the same fw and carrier... Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Interesting, way more features then CM's kernel.
For all: it isn't uncommon on lollipop for separately flashed kernels to not play well with roms because of some discrepancies with the ramdisk (perhaps dtb as well, though I can't remember everything I read on it). That being said, the issues can be remedied by building whichever rom and kernel combo you'd like together (or using a rom that already has your desired kernel built in tandem). I know its not an average users fix but it works. This is the reason that Damacy has only been releasing "UNSUPPORTED" builds

Not for the m8 but I sure wish they did. Kernel issues with this phone and aosp is a nightmare... I'm beginning to lose hope. No one except fizbanrapper is really doing anything kernel related for m8/aosp. I think all the devs are jumping off this flagship...?
First I want to say I didn't build this rom, or have anything to do with Mokee Open Source. Any bug reports or feature requests should be directed to Mokee developers.
I only started this thread to provide a link to the roms, as they are not available on xda until now, and a lot of users may not be aware they are still around.
Personally I have found this rom to be very stable, with some nice features.

Warning(particularly for MM builds): If you try to flash gapps, you will probably find it won't fit on the stock /system partition. In this case you will need to repatition - Repartitioning guide.
Make sure you choose a pit file that increases /system and not just /data(eg, I91001GB_4GB.pit)
Alternatively use Lanchon's re-pitting tool if you want to avoid losing your data
If you want to donate to Mokee and make their life a bit easier(donations will go towards bandwidth etc),
you can donate HERE
Instructions
1. Wipe data/factory reset(from KK compatible recovery)
2. Format /system
3. Flash rom
4. Flash gapps(optional)
5. Flash isorec recovery(for MM, see below), you only need to do this once
6. Reboot

Note: Now that Marshmallow(6.x.x) has been released, a warning for anyone flashing these latest nightlies. The kernel(isorec CM kernel) comes bundled with CM recovery, which is more or less useless. If you want a working recovery, you will need to flash the rom, followed by gapps(if you want play store), followed by an isorec recovery from HERE
Be sure to flash either CWM or TWRP for i9100. It is obvious from the name of the file.
And read about Isorec if you are not sure.

You tried "ripping-out" arnab's kernel from his latest DU and put it over this ROM?

Well, no. The reports of freezing with his last release stopped me from trying that. BTW the GeneSys kernel(.tar) that was released is the same as the kernel in DU 9.8, but for me the DragonKernel I tried is the last "AOSP" kernel I found to be stable
Thanks for share... What features has this rom? On official Web site can't found anything about features?

It's basically Cyanogen 12.1 with a couple of extra features like wakelock blocker. My own opinion, I think it is a lot smoother than stock Cyanogen.
To correct my earlier post. I reflashed the Rom and flashed xposed during the flash process and it flashed without any problems.

I added some screenshots in the OP. Hope this gives you an idea of features....

I just edited my post, lol. Not sure whether maybe an AOSP kernel like DragonKernel might work, I'll upgrade tomorrow and give it a go...
