As the title says, I can flash recovery & root etc but keep getting boot loop not matter what rom I have flashed (tried 3 up to yet)
Cheers
Do you choose the right variant? (802, 803,....ls980, vs980, fs320..........)

Yeah, I have 802 & have check that I have downloaded the correct stuff. Mainly wanted to install one of the G3 roms. I have tried the Cloudy one & the Optimus one thats around. Also tried flashing a Slim rom to no avail.
Will go through the process & instructions again & see if I am doing anything wrong during installation, thanks.

So, here I am trying to upgrade my phone to 4.3 and I installed Slimbean, CM 10.2 (or something along those lines) and AvatarROM and every single ROM based on CM (or maybe 4.3 in general) has an issue related to the touchscreen. The touch is basically not working. I've tried a lot of KDZs and none of them seems to do the trick. I've tried Slimbean and the touch isn't working, only the physical keys. I've noticed that if I flash to v10 baseband, I can get the touch to work, but it seems that I cannot use my SIM card. I saw that a lonely few other users cannot get this to work, but this is a problem with the ROM or version in general, it is very common.
So guys, can anyone help me? I've seem to have gotten this modding thing down in general, but this is the first time I'm having issues. I am prepared to give all the nececery data in order for this to be fixed, but that is all I know for now.
TL;DR Newest 4.3 CyanogenMod based ROMs touch not working with v20 baseband, only with v10 baseband. On the other hand with v10 baseband, the SIM isn't working and I don't want to use my phone as a tablet.
Thanks in advance, guys.
EDIT: THE ANSWER IS THAT V10/V20 baseband thing! I can feel it!
Do you flash it with a SIM in it? And with a microSD inserted too?
And first startup with thosse too
yes, indeed I did.
EDIT: One more question that I need answered. Do I need v10 or v20 in order for me to have Slimbean or CM 10.2?

You need v20
Do a boot without flashing gapps... Test and then flash gapps ....
Also did you try lock phone and unlock to test touch?
Sent from my LG-E610 using Tapatalk
I did try without gapps and it didn't help. The touch is still not working. Only the physical buttons are working (volume+, -, power and home). I tried a bunch of different solutions, but none of them seems to work. I have V20 on my phone (updated with the KDZ tool).
After I install the rom, I install v20 baseband and I get the SIM thing to enter the PIN but the touch ain't working. If I flash the V10 baseband after the ROM installation I get the touch working, but I can't use my SIM card and I don't want to use my phone as a tablet.
What is the exact model of yours?
How did you unlock bootloader / install cwm? Did you check that is for YOUR version?

Hello !
I had a Nexus 4 and I just bought a 32gb LG G2 D802.
However, it seems those two devices don't exactly work the same in terms of root, recovery and rom, and I cannot find a general tutorial.
Could somebody tell me which steps I should follow to get :
- the most stable recovery for the LG G2 D802
- the most recent stock rom (4.4 ?) with root enabled
Thank you by advance

1.use IROOT to root device : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45692679#post45692679
2. then use 'All in one recovery flasher' http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2633941
3. d802 has not received stock 4.4.2 yet (will in a month time)
Thank you ! that seems clear enough for me !
Also, it seems there are issues with the EFS partition, do you have any advice for me ?
What behaviour can be considered dangerous for this partition ?

Take a backup of EFS partition and save it on your PC.
My advice is, don't touch it. You dont need to anyway for rooting/flashing ROMs anyway.

Hi. I am new user of LG. I bought a Korean version of LG G2. Friend of mine flashed international version (as per his saying) of KK. Phone is rooted as well. Now phone's software/hardware specs are as follows: Android ver 4.4.2, Kernel 3.4.0 Build No. KOT40I.D80220b, software vers. Lightning v2.0. In hardware info section it is Model No. LG-F320L. It is now confusing for me either my phone is D802 or F320L.
I want to flash recovery in order to flash custom rom. Please guide me what my phone is now, D802 or F320L? Which phone version recovery is safe I should flash? Thanks for any help.

No. It does not work.
It's definitely a F320L then You can take back cover off, right? And there's place for a MicroSD? If yes, then it's a F320L

My friend, I know it is originally Korean Version (F320L) and I am using MicroSD as well but firmware flashed on this is not the original one. The software version is Lightning v2.0. Before this on original software(firmware) there were many Korean softwares and after flashing current firmware (which someone else flashed for me) there is no Korean thingy on phone and it is all English and rooted as well. The build no is also changed. My question is I still need recoveries prepared for F320L or recovery matching to build no. KOT49L.D80220b? Because all recoveries are for different variants and I don't know which is for my phone. Bottom line is I need a working recovery on my phone so I can try different custom roms.

You should most definitely flash a custom recovery for F320L then
There are many D802 Roms built on Korean firmwares but that doesn't make the core things of the phone Korean, and that's what you should look for when flashing.
Your ROM is just built around a D802 Firmware but everything is modified so it matches your F320L. I hope this helps!

Honestly, since you're running a custom ROM already, I think you have a custom recovery installed for how would you otherwise have a custom rom ?
Please try turning your phone off, and try factory resetting your phone using the button combination - that should take you to the custom recovery
Be careful about the build.prop entries.
If there is wrong build info (d802 instead of some other let's say..) and you unroot, and you have no recovery and want to use download mode, the lg tool detects it's d802 and you can't flash your proper kdz..
It's most likely because of your current rom. If the rom cook provided variants in aroma then he didn't provide seperate build.prop's (or entries)..

I don't understand what you were trying to do here but there are potentially a couple of issues here.
First, your text above reads D801210B_00.zip
That's not a typical naming convention for any of the variants, least of all a D800 or D802 that you were supposedly dealing with. I could perhaps see D80220B but your file has an extra character in it (the 1 following D80) which is strange.
Also, are you possibly trying to flash the stock firmware via custom recovery rather than a custom rom?
And lastly, why are you trying to flash a D802 firmware/rom onto a D800?

That is stock firmware (not flashable in recovery) as opposed to a custom rom based upon stock which one might find here on xda. Those are flashable in recovery. I can't speak much to custom rom cross compatibility as I don't run them much on this phone. I've been mostly stock, rooted + twrp since 2013.

Can you enter download mode? Try to find how to do it for your model... This forum section is for the G2 (not lite)... You need to find out how to enter download mode in your device and, if you could, find the official ROM for you device and find out how to flash it there. But not with the tools for the G2 found in this section as they are different devices.
Maby this thred can help u

Well, there's no way to link it in download mode, for he died even (not lit the way of any screen, even when cocoloco to load ..), the only way to fix this would be restoring the qhsusb_bulk, as shown in this video : rolleyes: https://www.google.com.br/url?sa=t&...l1QLEiLl9bc6BBSPOdE0jAg&bvm=bv.86956481,d.cWc ... But this process is done with the LG G2 and G2 Lite not, so I need help, the executables do not recognize the D295, only d8xx models ... If anyone can help I thank you very much!
