ICS modded settings app on any cm7 rom

Those who want the look of ics setting app on cm7 so here you got it
I tried it on latest nightly but I think u can use it on any rom but never forget to make backup but I did not do it

I never tried on stock rom.try replacing default setting app with this one.make backup of original setting first.
If it works ok,otherwise restore your backup

A nooby question- u said we can just backup settings app instead of doing the whole nyandroid routine, but i can't find an app specifically named settings (in tb pro). Am i missing something or is there an app in /system

Using root explorer go into system/app and copy setting app to SD.
Now take out the setting.apk from the zip provided above and paste it in app and change permission to rw-r-r and reboot your phone.
If it did not work,replace your original apk in same way

restarted, and it works.

Hi all,
Had nothing to do last night so went modding framework-res to support multiple users.
Result. Max users 3
Lockscreen rotation
Select users on landscape lock screen.
And of course framework-res.

I would love to try it but its not installing.

i would love to be able to restrict usage of my phone.. for example a simple swipe unlock will login using a guest user with limited access to photos, SMS, installing apps etc. while a pin/pattern unlock will login using a full access user (device owner) for full functionality.. is this possible using this mod ?

Installed with framework installer via CWM but any modification with ART and Dalvik. Only update of applications at boot :/

tried the "enable multiple user" app from the play store, i could get another account set-up but i could not return to my original account.

Cloudystock 2.+ has this thing too but I know somebody will be able to do a separate mod for this. I hope. I want it too so I can put it in a stock rom.

Their a appb that does it for you first you must download all in one gestures from app store must be rooted... Also you will need to Disable nav buttons in G2 SETTINGS its under miscellaneous

This zip is flashing CloudyStock2.6 LGsettings to \system\priv-app with permissions.

Just give it a try... if it´s not working or fc restore. If it´s working you will probably loose your prior settings.
I´m on CloudyStock 2.6 and hiding works, but i don´t know if cloudy´s version is working with your rom.
Don´t mind the File-name, i´m using this zip sometimes for flashing files...

I asked @rastigo who said that he already asked many developers but none helped to offer assistance for making the mod. Guess after g2 receive lollipop we might have the mod. But afaik lollipop is far way. So if any dev see this, please offer assistance to @rastigo. He said if he is pointed how to do it, he will make for us. I hope someone answers this request.

The apps allows you to hide navigation bar but split view cannot be accessed via long press back button, so i have to pass. Thanks though

Nexus 5?
It just worked fine for me in nexus 5 rooted.

It works great. I'm actually liking this launcher. Only thing that could be better is if it had Google Now integration. Anytime I want to check XDA, I draw a "T" and Tapatalk shows up.
Tested on Rastakat 4.4.4 stock kernel with ART.

Better we have to wait for future releases as this is only a beta.

Not really related to the icons, but when you save a file (e.g. build.prop), it doesn't always save it, does it happen to you too? Only seems to happen with Root Explorer.

It's happened before but it was a problem with my su binary. Because after updating to SuperSU I've never had that problem again.

I've only tested with SuperSU and its always happened to me since the beginning.
Doesn't always save, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

Yeah I don't know why it does that but it doesn't happen anymore for me. I also started turning off notifications for Root Explorer in App Info so I suggest try that as well.
