Hello there !
I just bought a new brand Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite smartphone. I have found that I have not really done a very good choice from what I've read here and there... By the way, for what I want to do with it will be enough.
However, what really bothers me is that I would NOT manage to root it ! I tried a lot of solutions such Vroot, Impactor... Nothing made it...
There the specifications :

Android version : 4.1.2
Baseband version : S7390GXXUANC1

I precise that just want to root it to vanish some system app I don't want such as "ChatOn", "Playsomething" and other **** I will never use... And as a young Android developper, I wouldlike to learn how to make custom ROM. I know there's a lot of people who wish a custom ROM for this model.
Is it possible to root it ? I so, can someone help me ?

This rom is the OEM from the tabs released in the Philippines and so far is the most stable and fastest version I've used and way better than the whatever version is out there. Unfortunately I lost my back up in a recent PC crash.
Hope someone will upload the link for it. Appreciate it.

So After a long time I've created this mod for xda . I want to share with you a mod which will enable dialer(SecPhone.apk) on your WiFi only Tab 3 10.1 . Don't try it on any other device or you'll get a soft brick (not even on other variants of tab 3) . It can be only used for dialing USSD codes.
Disclaimer:
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards. This mod is only for Kitkat 4.4.2 . Don't dare to try it on 4.2.2 or you'll get soft brick.
Pre-Requisites:
1)Root(Obviously)
2)Root Explorer
Instructions:
1)Download the framework-res.zip
2)Unzip & Extract Framework-res.apk
3)Copy it and paste it in /system/framework/'here'
4)Change permission & reboot .
5)Tadaa...... You'll see Phone icon in the launcher.

Hi, what you say is not, is a super news, but could be applied to a Tab 3 MW-T217T, since you mention that can be bricked, I've been looking for ways to use it as a phone is Tab, since according to use SIM but only for internet and not to mention even being unlocked.

yesterday i flashed een S8+ port rom called KHONGLOI for my S7 edge.
Everything going ok but there is a ****y two features in the notification bar " Datausage & Users" they're very annoying!
I tried to hide users and bingo! i succeeded by deleting this two lines from build.porp :
fw.show_multiuserui=1
fw.max_users=30
But I couldn't find any way to the Datausage! I really don't need it.
Any help please ?
P.S. : This Rom is really awesome I recommend all S7 edge users those are searching for a nice rom to try it "You can find an review by Max Lee YouTube channel".
Another P.S. : My English is very bad I know that xD.

According to pics below The kernel on my phone is armv8 and the instruction set is 64 bit but the mode is 32 bit !
For god sake guys can someone please reply and tell me what should I do to be able to install 64 bit apps on my phone ?

If you have no experience in this regard, it's better to stay clear of project Spaget, as you will most definitely brick the device.
If you flash Project Spaget, you just only install GSI Rom, One UI for J7 Pro not supported Project Treble so if you flash Project Spaget and using One UI, you will be brick phone
