Here's my problem
Received brand new LG G2 F320S Korean variant. Have previously had Sony phones with unlocked bootloaders. Assumed LG would be the same.
Hated stock rom so rooted using ioroot, flashed TWRP and installed G3 port ROM
Inserted SIM card but phone wouldn't detect
Reflashed baseband thinking that would help, no luck.
Decided to revert to stock
Flashed the 4.2.2 KDZ - I was dumb and didn't notice it was 4.2 not 4.4
Still no sim card detected
Flashed 4.4.2 KDZ
Rooted and recovery now.
Still no SIM card detected.
The SIM itself is fine and I've tried another SIM with same problem.
The IMEI is showing up correct. Could I have killed the EFS partition when installing custom ROM? Would that mess with the SIM card detection?
Help please. Much appreciated

HI all. Bought myself a UK G2 the other day, came with 4.4.2 installed. I followed to guide to downgrade it to 4.2.2 (i'd rather keep it on that). After the .kdz flash (yes, it's the correct region and for the 16gb) it just says "no sim" all the time. Rooted, installed twrp, flashed the rootable kitkat zip that's in the forum, still no sim now I'm back on 4.4.2. Any ideas anyone? I need my phone for work so need it sorted asap.

Make a factory hard reset
Nope, still no good. Flashed both the official 4.4.2 kdz and also the 4.2.2
I'm having this same problem. I really need this fixed. I used this method to get root and now I have no service. It is very important that I get my phone working!
Edit: After several formats I tried a FULL format including Internal and System partitions then put the phone in Download mode and followed METHOD 2 of this guide.
I flashed JB stock D800 rom tot through LG flash tool. After that sim card is not detected by phone. Phone's actual model is D800 as I checked on the motherboard while it had D80220c rom before.
I have a backup of EFS and Nandroid backup too,
What to do?

hi. i have G2 which is infact AT&T model D800.
i have stock rom on it. 4.2.2 jelly bean.
i rooted it and also installed recovery using flashify software from playstore/
i downloaded Cloudy rom 3.3
and i first wiped, then i installed the bootloaded which was kk bootloader (this is the main issue i guess) then i flashed the cloudy rom and CHOOSE MY AT&T model.
after that it restarted and then i got into this weird boot issue.
now whenever i start phone it goes to firmware update page.
i go to lg flashtool and i try to flash the stock rom 4.2.2 for D800 but it says failed for model is different.
i choose D802 and it says same
i see that in firmware update page on phone, it says cloudy 3.3 and it says mobile version is 802 but my phone is actually 800.
but now neither 800 nor 802 stock firmwares are working on this piece of ****.
i also have backup of my stock rom in twrp but i cant go to twrp.
can someone help me what to do now?

Hi, Installed a custom rom but it didn't detect my sim so i flashed a 6.0 EU modem but i forgot to backup... I tried installing other ROMS but no sim on either of them which has worked before. So i flashed the out of the box stock firmware through adb and reset everything but no sim detection on stock either... How do i get my connection back?
Hi,
I am getting a bit lost. I have a LG G2 which I recently upgraded to MM (last stable Bliss).
Before the upgrade I was using Stock KK , that worked fine. Now I upgraded the phone, and it looks like no SIMcard are working anymore. I tried several, they all give the dutch error 'kaartfout' (cardfold). When I check the settings, it tells me no SIMcard is inserted. But it is inserted, and it is inserted the way it should be.
What is going on?
What model?Maybe it was unlocked and with all the wipes unlock was lost?
LG D802 (is that sufficient information?)
I have no idea how to find out if it is currently locked.
Can it help to flash a new radio?
It's because your phone has a kitkat bootstack. What you need to do is go back to stock jb/kk, upgrade to LP -before rooting-, root, autorec, upgrade to the latest twrp and flash the rom. You can also flash the LP bootstack ( instead of going back to stock), but I don't recommend it, as it may cause problems.
Here are the two threads that will help you:
