Hi.
My touchscreen is broken, so I have to replace it.
I am looking for a genuine part to buy through ebay or similar. I have seen a lot of sellers claiming to sell a genuine part, but since I heard about many cases of the so-called "genuine" screen that turn out to be a good quality fake, I am looking for feedback from people who have bought a screen and received a good item.
My only limitation is that I need to buy from a seller who can ship internationally - I am from Israel.
Thanks a lot.
http://www.spareslg.com/ They seem to sell the real thing, but they're more pricey. Never actually used them, but they claim to sell genuine service packs.
Omg nice prices, i waiting order from aliexpress completly LCD and digitizer and frame 48$
Wysłane z mojego Nexus 5
Buy from LG....only way to be sure.

Hi there,
today I accidentally broke the touchscreen of my MDA Compact.
I am now doing an investigation for prices for Screen to repair the damn thing myself and prices for reparation.
It seems that it is very expensive.
Does someone know where to find cheap prices.
Maybe a cheap second handed screen could be found?
If it will be too expensive I will consider bying a S110 or 9090.
Do you agree?
Thanks!
Hello,
Welcome to the the club of people who need spare parts. In your case you might find somebody who sells you an new or used screen, but in all other cases in needing spare parts we are out of luck. It seems that HTC Europe and all most every repair service wount sell spare parts.
I have a friend in Asia who is looking for me if he can get some spare parts for me.
If not, than I have to buy somebodies dead magician and use it for spare parts. Maybe it's something for you in case you can get a new screen for an good price.
Well let me know if you want to sell your dead magician.
Good luck
LCD Screen
Warning: Images are very high resolution
Part Number: 60H00037-00M
Willing to accept any sensible offer and would prefer a UK sale.
If you're in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee I'm willing to give it to you in person if you want to save postage but it would have to be at a mutually convenient time.
The screen is immaculate - I removed the plastic cover when it arrived in the post but haven't used it at all.
N.B. The part number is very important as I believe there are 3 different types for different versions of the Tytn.

I used to wonder how people managed to break their LCD screens so carelessly but now that I'm one of them feel a great sense of pity and sorry for them
Seriously though, I broke my LCD screen the other week and I've been kicking myself since. I went and bought a replacement LCD for it but I couldn't get it working in my phone because I broke a little black component that holds the ribbon cable onto the contacts.
Anyway, now I have a broken phone and a spare LCD screen so I'm going to sell the bits as spares if anyone is interested.
Right now I'm going to sell the LCD screen as I've not decided if I want to break up the phone itself, especially as it still contains all my data
How much are you selling for

I paid £42 for it so if you have a sensible offer around that price I'll certainly consider it.
Are you based in the UK?
Any one know of the cheapest place to buy a touchscreen or two for the HD2? Specifically after the non T-Mo (Aussie/EU/UK) version.
Ebay sucks at the best of times, so looking for someone preferably cheaper than having to F5 ebay until a low price one appears...?
Fanks
I was after the same thing, but got impatient and got one of eBay for about AU$120 delivered (that was the screen and digitizer together). You can get a screen alone for about AU$60 from memory.
You'll need to make sure you get the right model first though... I found the model number after disassembling the whole phone to view the sticker on the back of the LCD panel.
Hi All,
One of my family members broke their Nexus 4; tripped and fell and threw the phone across the pavement... cracked front screen and no touch response. Thus, I need to find a replacement screen and digitizer with front housing. Does anyone know of a good place to an original part besides etradesupply (they have been out of stock for a while)?
Thanks,
Joe
Why not sell it on ebay for spares or repair and get another one with the proceeds (new or secondhand)? Thereby neatly side-stepping the problem by giving it to others!
I don't know how much I could sell it for. I think replacing the screen would still end up cheaper than buying a new one. Anyone know a reputable ebay seller?
Hello all,
My S4 was dropped and the glass, LCD and digitizer is broken (everything else still works though. I can touch the bottom panel and buttons, sound works, I can ADB and connect via teamviewer, receive calls...etc)
I want to get a new frame,LCD,Digitizer (they have sets made up already) from eBay (probably from China), however, I am concerned about the quality of such a replacement.
The quality of the OEM LCD is quite nice, and I worry that a replacement will be sub-standard.
Moreso, the OEM digitizer is quite advanced (because of airview, which allows a user to hover their finger over the screen to show previews, etc), and I worry that this feature may not work in a cheap replacement from eBay.
Has anyone had any issues ordering replacements off eBay or found any issues with the quality of their replacements?
Thanks, all!
I'd suggest looking at the ratings the seller has. That generally gives a good ideea if he sells crap or not.
If you really need those features to work, I would say you try to find a genuine one from a trusted online dealer.

Thanks. That is good advice.
I was hoping that someone with experience could answer, though. Anyone?
Look for a seller with Positive feedback more than 90%. Also look if he has sold same product before. So that you can look ratings in his feedback.
That's the best way to know about eBay sellers. I've bought nearly 10 replacement displays for various devices (as I am expert in fixing these)
iFixit site has spares as well but they are too costly!
