Awesome
Nice work :good:
Great module.. I was hoping the transparency thing can overwrite those activated within GravityBox.. Really don't like it when in Walkman, the status bar is in black and the nav bar is transparent.. Looking forward to further customizations, if there are any..
Love the module so far but the status bar isn't transparent while gravity box is enabled im not sure if it works when gravity box is disabled and also is it possible for you to mod the app drawer folders to follow the rows and colums for when its changed from the stock 4x5 layout.
Edit: another request if possible could you make the reflection more visible if the stage is hidden in the home drawer if your not sure what i mean i can send you a screenshot

All, thanks for the feedback!

Yes, it works with gravity. I have gravity + this mod and it works perfectly.
@greg2001 another request if possible is there any chance of the nav and status bar going the same colour as the dark transparent background that gets used when you open a folder on the home screen like in the attached pic

Greg i think this module would have a really good use been incorporated into the settings on the existenz rom that is made by niaboc79 i think if you talked to him he would let you make a modded version of his settings apk or you could let him port your code into it himself as he is a very friendly and a awesome dev too.

HOW TO GET ANDROID L STATUSBAR WITHOUT ROOTING.
Hi, I am Rigo Golder and I am 10 years old,I am not a developer.I am new to xda,So,I was searching xda and google for Android L Statusbar without root, then,NO ANSWERS.Then I thought about Play Store, then I searched for some zooper templates, and got this- "6 Status Bars for ZOOPER".....I stopped searching and I gone to ZOOPER PRO app.
Sorry, its not like the Original ANDROID L Status Bar,but I have tried as much as possible.
THINGS NEEDED:-
A Android phone running 4.0+.
Nova Launcher beta 3.0.2.
ZOOPER PRO 2.44+.
My Thread
PRECAUTIONS
Persistant Search bar should be disabled on NOVA.
Widget overlapping should be enabled on NOVA.
ZOOPER 'PRO' should be used.
Hiding Notification bar supports your ROM.
LET'S START
Open NOVA launcher.
Add a zooper 1x1 widget.
Resize it to the width of the screen.
Open ZOOPER PRO.
Start from scratch.
Add a text module for time.
Set the font size as you like.
Move it the desired place.
Add a Scalable icon set module for Battery Icons.
Set the scale to the size to fit the height of the Time font.
Rotate it to a vertical angle.
Move it to the desired place near the Time font.
Add a Rect module.
Set the size to match the height of the rest of the modules.
Set outline to 5.
Set Curving degrees to 90.
Move it to the desired place near the Battery icon.
Repeat this step again and move it near the last Rect.
Done.
Now,hide the NotBar by adding an Nova Action-Toggle Notification Bar.
Tap it.
Now drag the widget to Top of the screen. Not to the X button.
Again, open the widget settings by tapping it.
Save the layout.
Exit.
Repeat the 2nd,3rd and 22nd steps to all of the pages of NOVA.
Now,open widget Settings and select-SD Card.
Apply the layout you have saved.
Apply this step to all of the Status Bar widgets you have applied the the pages.
YIPPEE! YOU HAVE THE ANDROID L STATUS BAR!
If I have helped you,PLEEEASE hit THANKS button.
I have added a screenshot and a pre-made layout.
HOW TO DO IT IN A MINUTE.
Download the zip file.
Extract it on any folder.
Move the template to 0/ZooperWidget/Templates.
Thank You,
Rigo
Just a simple way to reproduce the stock weather clock widget in another launcher
including the click action to go in the new stock accuweather app
I tested in NOVA and it works
Basically you need
1) XWidget (download the theme s6)
2) desktop visualizer
3) an image viewer able to create a transparent icon
The procedure is simple
A) Create a transparent icon and save it (the size does not matter)
B) using xwidget create the widget reproducing the stock one (for example size 4x2)
C) create another widget (same size 4x2 again) using desktop visualizer selecting as icon the transparent and as action (using the option others) the shortcut connecting as NOVA stock weather activity
I suggest to have no label, touch effect as NONE and vibration selected as SYSTEM
D) in nova settings----> desktop---> advanced select to permit the overlap
E) overlap the second widget to the first and set bring to front
in this way you will have the widget looking as the stock (thanks to xwidget) and behaving as the stock (thanks to desktop visualizer)
Thanks. I did something very similar with apex launcher. How did you get to the stock S6 accuweather app from Desktop VisualizeR? Was it an option to select when you built the transparent widget overlay?

You create a desktop visualizer widget
As icon you select the transparent
As action you select 'others'
then (in Nova but I believe there is a similar option also in Apex) 'activities'
then you look for the activities related to 'weather' ... the first is the good one
Leave the label field empty
Transparent background
None as touch effect
System as Vibration
Then press OK
Finally overlap the desktop visualizer widget to the xwidget and resize it properly
Gang,
FYI, with Android 10 and stock launcher, if you want to change the icon shape this is no longer available on launcher settings.
You will now have to go to Settings - Developer Options - Theming - Icon Shape
