Anybody? Not trying to be pushy but I can't get my phone to boot past recovery and if I had twrp I can get a terminal open and try a method someone pointed me to on how to fix my issue.

I can't update twrp past 2.3 to flash KitKat if I flash via terminal I get error 1 and goomanager is just being weird.
Here's the catch though. I cant plug it into a PC as it won't read it. So I can't do fastboot or adb.

Well the best way to flash a recovery is with fastboot so I highly recommend to figure out your issue with PC not recognizing phone. Are you using windows or Linux?

I have tried all 3. Win osx and linix

Linux*

Try Flashify. Download the recovery.img and flash it to the recovery partition.

Maybe this will help load the proper drivers for windows or rules for Linux, sorry I stay away from apple so can't help there.
Unless its a hardware issue it should be easy to fix.
Otherwise you will need to add the flash binary to your ROM to use terminal emulator, supposing the command you enter are correct
flash_image recovery /locationofrecoveey/nameofrecovery.img

Its hardware related. I was told it was stuck in otg mode. Whatever that means.

So, I have been attempting to flash TWRP recovery using flashify. I have the ATT G2, and I am rooted of course. People have said they had success but I can't seem to get it to work for me. I downloaded the TWRP .img from herehttp://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/g2att and attempted to flash via flashify. It takes about 2 seconds then says "flash successful reboot now or flash more" but when I attempt to get into recovery(power button volume down until LG logo then let go and repress) and it shows up "factory reset device. Press power button if yes, press any other button to cancel". What am I doing wrong?

Say yes to which prompts exactly..?

I would download quick boot front the play store. Makes booting into recovery simpler

Bumping due to a similar question. I downloaded the updated TWRP and flashed the "recovery.img" file in flashify. It said it was successful then I booted into recovery and the screen is black with the backlight on. I have to hold power for about 10 seconds and it reboots into my current ROM with no issues. Any thoughts on why TWRP isn't there anymore? It was for a while while I flashed CM 10.2. Just tried to update TWRP since I want to try some CM11 roms. Thanks in advance!
If you also have the AT&T version, then this is the file you should be flashing using Flashify... openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.2-g2att.img
... then in order to update to 2.6.3.3, flash openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-g2att.zip from recovery.

Today, I have tried updated my Nexus 4 to cm-11-20131205-SNAPSHOT-M1-mako.zip, but it apparently could not be flashed, so it ended up failing. Now, whenever I reboot my phone, it just ends up on my TWRP recovery screen. Please help me solve this urgent problem!!!
Sideload another ROM through adb

are you using the latest TWRP? what version it is?

Well, what about wipe everything If can access recovery and then flash new image.
If you have custom build.prop you should adb push it with your default version of it, i had the same problem today.
Could someone teach me the steps to use the ADB sideload that you guys are talking about? Sorry, I'm not that tech savvy, and need some help :/. Does the ADB require the device to connect to a computer? If it does that may be a problem because my device doesn't appear when I connect it to a computer. On a sidenote, I have yet to update my TWRP, it's still v 2.4.1.0.
Hello so I was trying to change from cwm recovery to twrp. However when using adb to go to the boot loader it took me to download mode. Now since the adb command was the same as my previous phones (evo 3d, Gnex) I assumed fastboot would work as well. But it didn't. Now I would try to flash a recovery via app but omnirom doesn't have superuser in it and super su refuses to work when after flashing the update zip in recovery. Can anybody help me?

When I rooted, I used Chainfire's auto-root, then used goo manager to install twrp.

I didn't know samsung used fastboot commands like HTC. Why don't you just use odin to flash the recovery?
I believe Samsung may be the only manufacturer that doesn't use fastboot.

OK so this is whats going on
I have tried several way to push or downlode recovery twrp and cwm on my lg g2 it is fully rooted i check it through the app it says it has full root priviliges.
Everytime i run the recovery it take me to a black screen with a green android lying with its belly open.
I have tired installing recovery through adb but i either end up getting a loki file wont go through or it wont load or the it says it cant open the twrp image. I have followed step by step instruction through youtube. I dont know whats going on.
Please help ...and let me know if you need any further details.

You could always use flashify. Use it to download the TWRP .zip. Extract the .img file into the phone, then use flashify to flash that .img file you extracted. Reboot into recovery to see if it stuck.
