I've been up half the night searching for an answer. Been having a lot of trouble lately :crying:
I am on a Galaxy S5 G900R4.
I decided to give the cracked Play Store apk a try. Followed instructions to the T, Installed then rebooted. Immediately upon rebooting started seeing the message "com.android.vending.apk has stopped".
These are the steps I took hoping it would work:
1. Cleared cache in Google Play Store & Google Play Services, Rebooted.
2. Cleared Cache through TWRP recovery. Rebooted.
3. Tried restoring old backup from Titanium Backup Pro. Rebooted.
Started seeing "Unfortunately Google Play Store has stopped."
4. Resorted to System Wipe through TWRP. Rebooted. (Twice)
5. Tried manually downloading an app from Play Store in the browser. (Nothing)
None of the approaches have fixed the issue, And I am at a total loss now.
Please help me guys, Have I lost all hope? :crying:
Will flashing the stock rom work? I'm aware I'll have to reroot and everything, Having already factory reset it losing root access is no biggie.
Use Modded playstore installer by Chelpus, it has an option to choose modded or non modded playstore, it fixes my problems always

That's the installer I used! Were you able to use the modded playstore or did it revert to the stock play store?
Now I'm really at a loss! I flashed the stock firmware, And it's still not there! And to boot, It didn't even revert back to stock!
Still has my settings, Wifi password, Browsing history etc. WTF is going on!?
Devs, Please help!

You could try wiping the caches on the device in CWM.

OK, Ill try that.
My apps and data wont get deleted, right?
No, they'll all be in tact, just make sure you wipe the Cache from the main menu and the dalvik cache from the advanced menu.

Did not work.
Wiped the cache from main and then did dalvik cache and Im still getting the popups and can not remove the google account.
Any ideas?
Are you rooted and did you freeze any system apps? I froze Google account manager once and had that problem. Had to restore a backup to fix it. Unfreezing didn't help.

Am rooted but did not freeze any app.
Best option then is to reflash your stock rom in Odin and re-root. Shouldn't lose any apps or data that way.

OK, what I did was flash in the JB CM10.
When I restored the apps and data with titanium, the problem with all the popups happened again!
So I flashed JB CM10 again and this time restored with titanium all the apps except for google apps and data.
This solved it.
Now everything is back to normal.
Now a different question, about the CM10 version I installed.
For some reason I don't have the back camera working.
I flashed the latest version that can be found on http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/?p=2749.
For some reason the site's August 4th update has a link to http://droidbasement.com/galaxy/roms/cm10/p4wifi which is actually a July 28th update.
Isnt that the latest update? If not, where can I find the latest update with the back cam working?
EDIT: Just read on another thread that the 8.4.12 update got nixed cause of wifi problems. That explains my back cam problem.
Thinking about going back to stock 4.0.4. Kind of liked the new Touchwiz. Mountains better than the older version.

Well if you don't like touch wiz, you can replace it with Apex launcher, which will give you a stock ICS launcher with added options.

i tried fixing permissions, but it didn't solve the problem
Man, I know this is going to sound stupid but are you using the correct version of GApps? I flash numerous roms and have numerous versions of GApps. I do IT and sometimes you just have to walk through every step if all else has already failed. Its obviously a software issue since you can do other things with the table. I hope this helps.
I have flashed back a stock 4.2.2 image and re-locked bootloader. Now I can't install apps from Google Store, a message pop-ups saying ''Invalid package''. I reflashed the stock image, tried rooting, fixed permissions, flashed custom ROM, deleted all listed apps from store, tried installing without WiFi connection and over 3G/H+.
I can only install apps from the Google Play Store Web Version sending them to the phone.
Has anyone know about this issue before? Please Help!!
Have you tried formatting data? Backup anything you need on your sd first. Also note you will have to reboot to recovery after formatting and adb push a new ROM over.
I had a weird problem last week and wiping data wouldn't fix it, I had to format.
My problem was almost the opposite of yours, uninstalling any app by any method rebooted my phone.

Download the Gapps 4.2.2 and flash the zip via cwm

Nevermind I'm dumb
The problem seems to be solved by changing my device model on the play store from desktop version. The weird thing is that I couldn't install apps even deleting my google account from the phone.

I use an i9506, and i tried flashing a few roms on it. However, cyanogenmod always caused a bootloop so I reverted back to an old backup. Then one day, I noticed that play store kept crashing. So I tried editing the hosts, wiping cache, even factory reset but Play store kept finding a way to srop working. Right now, my play store opens but crashes soon after and keeps on crashing until i wipe the data. The it repeats. Can anyone give me a solution?

Try doing a clean wipe, not factory wipe. Then re-flashing rom with the correct gapps.
Deleted data expunged
So tonight I tried the new Cm13 that got updated, doing a full wipe. All went good after a bit of testing, finding that the camera bug I already knew about was there, but after installing a few of my apps that I had before at the same time I tried installing some unofficial ones from .apks, Google Services Framework started crashing and my launcher, Trebuchet also did, so as the settings when I tried getting into the apps screen to try wiping data and cache for the settings app. So I got stuck there. Luckily I had a backup and succesfully restored to my last ROM with most of my data back. I did try anything I could think of to stop the crashing, except flashing another Gapps package. I did try reflashing the same with no success to fix the crashes. On the thread it recommended the Nano package because that provided you with the option to hold home button to Screen Search...
Thank you for any answers. BTW I also tried wiping those apps data trough Titanium Backup with no succes, again. :crying:
How do I stop Google Framework Services and settings (when entering app management screen) from crashing?
