Hello, I am new to verizon. I just got a galaxy s5 and the phone is great I love. It's been about two months now with verizon. I recently noticed the s5 starting to have poor voice reception and poor data also. Tech support has replaced my Sim card and my phone and I'm still having same issue. Now they want to replace my s5 again. Not sure what's going on. I wonder if the new phone will have same issues. Has anyone dealt with this issue or know anything about it? Thanks

Hello I recently purchased a mogul from sprint and I love the functionallity of the phone. My problem is when actually making a call I can hear myself talk. Is this normal? Any ideas? Thanks
As far as I know, that isn't a problem with the phone. I've had similar echo's with my previous sprint phone, and with my phones on other carriers.
Hello! I recently bought a Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition. I'm coming from an HTC One. On the One, I had pretty good LTE reception, but I put my sim card into the gs4 and I have not seen it get more than one bar. Every now and then, it goes to 4-5 bars with an H instead of lte.
I spoke with an ATT rep and he said he doesn't see any possibility other than the GS4 is not as good as the One with picking up LTE. That sounds kind of strange to me. Is that really a likely scenario?
Also, I'm not rooted. Just a plain ole GS4 GPE.
Thank!
Hello all,
I've got a question regarding a "sprint" galaxy s4 I recently purchased from an individual through craigslist. I called sprint to confirm the phone had a clean esn before purchasing, which it did. I did not however have the phone activated before handing over the cash. So now what I have is a galaxy s4 that can be activated on the boost network but no longer on the sprint network. My question is how would I go about getting the phone able to be activated on the sprint network once again. I'm assuming the phone needs to have something flashed so I went ahead and rooted it. If anyone has any suggestions or is familiar with the process to make this happen, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you in advance,
Brian
Ok, I hope this isn't a totally stupid question, but here goes. My trusty old Galaxy S Blaze is, well, getting old, and I've decided after much research that I want a Galaxy S5. I'm also thinking to switch my carrier from Tmobile to Straight Talk, but would like to piggyback off the Verizon network as I've heard many good things about them. Tmobile is driving me nuts with dropped calls, coverage that sucks, etc.
Soooo....
Part One: can I use my Blaze's sim card in an new unlocked Verizon S5 that I may buy through ebay?
Part Two: Can I then take said new phone and hook up with Straight Talk? I'm just unsure because of the whole GSM/CDMA thing.
Thank you in advance!

The verizon signal on my ph-1 was not the best. I would often have to manually choose LTE only to have the phone get LTE, choosing LTE cdma/evdo would keep the phone on 1x/3g. I attributed this to possible software and hardware issues with the phone itself as I saw many other Verizon users with similar complaints. I recently purchased an iPhone and, to my surprise, the phone would not get LTE with the same sim. The sim I'm using originally came in a pixel but has since worked in an a g6, s8, and note 8 with no issue. I called Verizon and he said he had to configure my sim to the iPhone x, afterwards I got perfect LTE signal. I then put the sim back in my ph-1 and I also get perfect signal. Just thought I would share, maybe this will help someone....
