I've been trying to make my notification header transparent to match Blurred UI, however the feature from XBlast to do so does not work for me as I'm running Carbon ROM (XBlast doesn't play well with Carbon). Does anyone know of an alternative way of getting a transparent notification header?
Just to clarify I am currently using the Blurred UI module.

Slimkat has some transparency settings for notification......not sure if it will suit your needs or not though.
Try this module:

Could somebody please help me? I have the new version of AOKP and I hate having the transparent nav bar and status bar. I cannot figure out how to turn it off. Is it even possible to turn off?

Go to rom control general ui, select transparency settings, uncheck match lockscreen alpha, move homescreen alpha down then back to 100% and lockscreen alpha to 100% and there you go.
Thanks! I can't believe I didn't see that!

I want to hide Navigation Bar and status bar not to make them transparent, i have tried widgetlocker but it just hides nav bar buttons and not the bar.
Tried PA3.01 expand mode but its kinda buggy or not working well when i choose to go to home screen it opens it twice and doing some lag too. flashed different roms but no rom had a feature to disable nav bar only on lockscreen, aokp had this feature but it was buggy as well so they removed it instead of fixing.
Need help, thanks.
I'm running PA3.1 and its running just fine, no problems at all. Give it another go! And to hide the nav bar, just set the size to 0% in Hybrid Settings.

thank you!
Gravity box for xposed framework has a section to tweak the navbar. It also has an expanded desktop feature which can hide the status bar/navbar and use pie control.

Does anyone know of a way to add wallpapers to the list of provided wallpapers that come with the phone? I don't know if you have noticed but when you use these wallpapers the status bar becomes transparent on the home screens but reverts to normal colour if you use any other type of wallpaper. This would allow a transparent status bar with any wallpaper without the issues that come with forcing transparency with frameworks like 3minit (an ugly grey status bar in apps etc.)

I have tried the transparency in 3mint and it leaves the bar looking a really ugly grey in certain applications. What I'm looking for is the status bar to be transparent on the homescreen in TW but normal everywhere else. The provided wallpapers do this.

I've got it to work, I decompiled the stock SecWallpaperChooser.apk and changed the ones I didn't like for some of my own ones. Then recompiled and it works fine.
Keep original file names and image sizes and make 2 images, one is the thumbnail and one the main image.
I made a new apk icon for the wallpapers too, the image is in the same folder within the apk.

Hello, everyone!
I like tablet ui very much.
I like small dpi ,( such as120), I think it's comfotable for me.
There are two ways to get tablet ui.
First ,you can use xposed and app settings .But it's boring to set every app to dpi120.
Second, you can use R.E. to edit build.prop .There are two places to edit ,edit them all
I know the tw launcher will die after that. So I delete it.
When I making calls , the sceen become black.
But two different ways come to different results.
Using xposed I get a small status bar at the top. All the bar seems right.
Using R.E. I get a big status bar at the bottom. The color of the bar is white, I don't like it. I think it should be transparent or black. And the virtual keys are repeated.(we already have them)
I never get a comfotable Tablet UI so far.
I have tried to edit systemUI.apk all day, but it failed. I am not good at this.
I also tried to use xblast to change the color of the status bar, nothing changed.
Could someone make such a Mod for us?Big thanks to you!!!
I got tablet ui by using phab7 from xposed modules but the navigation bar is white wich is so ugly

Hi,
I was wondering how I can get notification toggles to show on my notification drawer like on the picture. I already tried the power toggles app, but the toggles have an opaque background that won't go even if you make it transparent (I think it's a bug). I also tried the notification toggles app, but it doesn't have the brightness slider.
Please don't flame if I could do it with the above, I tried. Maybe I missed something, so just let me know.
Thaanks!
I think this is only available on custom ROMs, which ROM are you running? You can also give Xposed a shot. Try GravityBox, not sure if it's there or not, check their thread.
True.. Transparency doesn't work.. I think you need to root the phone and install a custom rom for that..

I'm running Carbon rom, which doesn't have this option. I'll take a look at Xposed and Gravity Box.
is there an app that enables the brightness slides in the notification bar? I've been looking for one since forever. gravity box doesn't have jt

Look into the play store for an app called notification toggle. It will get you close to what you see in the picture.
