How can I restore cleared data that was on the internal memory of my phone?
I accidently "cleared" the app data without thinking and lost all my bookmarks etc. because it was not synced with my Google account..
I have not updated my phone since this has happened, and it is rooted; I use Titanium Backup and ES File Explorer to navigate my device. I do not have a full backup of my phone, or the app data however to restore.
You can't.

Hi,
So on my old nexus galaxy, I backed up a couple of my apps with Titanium backup (minecraft, keepsafe). I then uploaded the titanium backup folder to dropbox. When I got my nexus 4 I downloaded the copy of the backup folder from dropbox, and then I restored the two apps app and data. The app restores fine, but there is NO data from the apps. For example I go to the Minecraft worlds folder and its empty. Does titanium not backup data on sd cards? The backup zips seem to be large...
THanks,
Michael

Titanium will backup the app and it's data, it will not backup and restore anything saved to an SD card, which is where that type of game data would reside.
Try creating a game and saving it. Once you find it, copy the files from your sd card to the folder where your new save was created.
Preferences > Backup app external data > Enabled (Always). Do that and SD data will be backed up
So im trying to backup my gf's saved games (on a secondary user account on my n7) since titanium backup requires root (and SuperSU isn't updated for multi-user yet) I cant backup all the saved data. So I was going to just going to do saved games manually through root explorer, but when I look in "/data/data" its empty.
So my question is where is the secondary user's data stored? Or is this another Super User thing?
And if so, is there any other way to backup secondary user data?
My phone, out of the blue, was getting stuck at the boot animation. Using the Nexus 4 Toolkit, I tried to make a backup, but it only partially worked due to low storage on the internal memory. Winrar is saying the data.ext4.20135150538.tar file is corrupt, but forunately, the data/data/ folder with all my app data was 100% intact and extractable.
I restored my phone with a Nandroid from a few months ago, let all the apps update, and created a Titanium backup, but the app data in that backup is data that's several months old.
Once I wipe and reinstall a ROM, is there a way to "transplant" the app data? I was thinking that maybe root explorer could do it, but it seems that setting the correct file permissions may be an issue?
If it makes a difference, I'm going to be reinstalling the same P.A.C.man rom that I currently have.
Thanks!
How do I restore the app data backed up to Google?
Something went wrong and the SD card of my gf's phone was completely wiped. All her data gone.
How do I restore whatever was backed up to Google's servers?
I manually re-installed many of her apps. Is there a way to restore the data to those apps?
All google apps data are stored in your google account. All other things not, unless you did a backup or something similar :/
sure.. when you factory reset, google will restore your apps and some of their data.
I have a N9005 with the stock rooted Polish Lollipop 5.0 ROM. Whenever I do a Titanium Backup it appears that only the data for each app is being backed up. If I try to do a restore there is only the option to restore data, not the app. I have given TB permission to write to the SD card through Lollipop's pain-in-the-neck SD permissions thing. I have also tried a different SD card but still no success. Has anyone else found this?
Nope works as it should .
Try removing TB and installing fresh application .
Thanks. I wiped TB data & cache, uninstalled it along with the TB Pro key and the problem is still present after a reinstall. If I do a first backup of a single app it looks fine and I can restore the app + data. If I do a batch backup (e.g. all user apps) it seems to backup only the data. If I repeat an individual backup for one of these already batch backed up apps the problem remains. If I delete the backup for an individual app I can then repeat the individual backup and it backs up the app + data. TB Pro is working fine on my LG Gpad 8.3 with CM12.1 Lollipop. So I'm guessing there's a fault with the batch backup part of TB with this Samsung ROM .
