Hi there,
I am new to Android development and am enjoying learning thus far.
I understand the followind drawable folders are used to store graphic images png,bitmap, jpg etc for different devices due to the differing screen size:
res/drawable-mdpi, drawable-hdpi, drawable-xhdpi, drawable-xxhdpi
However what is confusing me is that alot of online tutorials advise me to "create a drawable folder" in which I will store XML files i.e. list_selector.xml
Am I correct in assuming they want me to create the "drawable" folder in my "res" directory?
I'd be grateful if anyone could confirm
Thank you
Yes thats true
thanks for your reply...
do you mean the below statement is true?

Its the latinime one. That doesn't mean is Latin. It's just the apk name. I'm downloading now to make sure but previous ones were the same

I figured that was it but wasn't sure. Most languages are derived from Latin, so my guess was right. It's appears to be the same as 4.3 but the gesture trail & auto complete words are grey instead of cyan and it has built-in emojis.

Can someone please check something for me? I'm going to add support for the exynos note 3 in one of my apps. I need the by-name path to recovery.. It will be in the following folder /dev/block/platform/THIS_FOLDER_NAME_I_NEED and there should be a "recovery" file in that foler.. If there are two folders it should be the first one.
Thanks in Adavnce
Oh also ro.product.board and ro.board.platform from the build.prop.. Thanks
On my rooted SM-N900 using File Manager I find this path to the recovery file:
/dev/block/platform/dw_mmc.0/by-name/RECOVERY
Where do I find build.prop?
---------- Post added at 01:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:53 PM ----------
If it's the file /system/build.prop I have:
ro.product.board = universal5420
ro.board.platform = exynos5
