[Q] razr m cpu governor - Droid RAZR M Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

does anyone know what the default governor for the razr m is in stock rom? does stock rom allow for changing it?
if so, what software shoudl i use? if not, how about CPU tuner or SetCPU?

I think default is ondemand or interactive, but you can also use performance or userspace.
The apps you mentioned, Rom Toolbox, or Fauxclock 123 should work.

yes, they run on boot mode,
i use android tuner though.. all in 1 tools..?

[Q] Nexus 7 Custom Kernels & Stock Frequncieas

I have a question about N7 custom kernels and how they relate to stock frequncies.
Using stock kernel, the stock frequency of the N7 is 1.2GHz, with a EDP Single Core Boost up to 1.3GHz. My question is: what frequency do I set in a custom kernel to simulate stock - 1.3 or 1.2? That is, do custom kernels include an EDP boost in their frequency settings (e.g. if I use TricksterMod to set my frequency to 1.3, is that 1.2 plus single core boost, or is that 1.3 in general).
I'm a noob, and would appreciate any help I can get.

Anyone tried the UserSpace governor? Or tweaked other kernel settings?

Just rooted, busyboxed my s7 edge and thought id install Trickster Mod to see what settings i can tweak. Noticed there are 3 different factory governors installed. Interactive (Default) and Userspace and Performance. Just curious if anyone has tried Userspace? Or has tweaked any other kernel level settings?

[HELP] Can't lock max cpu frequency

Hello , im using redmi 2 2gb version
I had problem with max cpu frequency
When cpu usage 95%+ max frequency lock to 800mhz and its make me feel lag, and that happen with chrome or playing video
Even with kernel adiutor change to 1.4ghz still didnt lock
Currently I use custom rom Tesla official stable
And thats happen too on mokee mm stable
Sorry for my english
Thanks
Best option available in my experience is dont use custom kernels at all. They may be buggy at certain task.
Stable Kernel which comes stock with the rom is best option. No bugs in multitasking and no more lags at all.

Kernel app for stock Nougat

For some reason Kernel Adiutor decided to stop applying settings on boot, so I tried Kernel Adiutor Mod Reborn.. Some things are applied on boot (I/O scheduler, min/max CPU freqs, GPU governor and max freq) but the CPU hotpug and Core Control are not applied.
Anyone encounter a problem like this? I'm rooted with Magisk (just installed latest version). Are there any manual work-arounds like init.d or a different kernel settings app? I hate not using Adiutor since I paid for the donate version.

Question about custom kernels, and whether I actually need one

Hey guys
So I've been rocking Franco Kernel since I first rooted, but now I'm considering rooting without a custom kernel after updating to OOS 10. However, there are a few settings I want to be able to tweak and I'm wondering if I can do that on a stock OOS kernel
Basically, on Franco Kernel Manager the things I tweak most depending on my needs are:
1) CPU / GPU governor, to interactive, conservative, powersave or performance
2) CPU / GPU maximum frequency
3) Cores, sometimes I disable some when in a low battery emergency
Is it possible to change these settings with FK Manager on OOS's stock kernel? While being rooted of course
