LightFlow app not working on stock 4.4.4? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone notice this?

Nope, works perfectly for me on stock 4.4.4 rom across a variety of different kernels, including stock.
Edit: Possible Solution
Try completely uninstalling, Redownload latest version, set up and reboot. I have root and so I have enabled the root option in the settings to maximize compatibility.

S pen

I recently rooted my note 3 with the towelroot method and installed exposed framework and just a couple of modules. Today I went to use my pen and it made its noise coming out and brought up the menu on the screen but we'll not do anything beyond that. I've checked all the setting and they seem to be correct and none of the modules I've unstapled has anything to do with the pen that I know of. Anybody have any suggestions. Could it have been the root process or just me over looking something. Thanks for any help. Jesse

What do you mean by "modules I've unstapled"? Uninstalled? If the pen worked fine before rooting, then I'd go back to stock and start over again step by step. Stock - check, root - check, module uninstall - check...
uninstalled is what I meant. I ended up factory resetting and going through the root process first before reloading all the apps and it's working as it should now. Not sure what caused it and don't really care now that it's working again. Thanks anyway and I will try to work on my spelling some. Jesse

Modem issue when upgrading CM11.

When dirty flashing a CM update rotation and sensors no longer work even after once again flashing the modded modem. Everything else works fine just this particular issue. Will I have to wipe everything and flash the ROM and modem over a clean system every time I want to upgrade? Any explanation would be helpful. What is the best way to upgrade to new nightlies without breaking rotation..

What kind of custom rom you were using?
Now im using a stock, however, I did not installed by Odin. I found one flasheable by custom recovery.
PS: My devide model is n900w8.
And I found a few versions of roms stock, however, all that have a same bug, force closes and reboots. I tried install by Odin, and also flasheable, and got a same problems. Roms for n900w8 is all a trash.
I found a ROM stock flasheable for n9005, and its working fine, but WiFi and NFC is not working.

Slim LP app compatibility issues

So I've wanted to run Swagbucks on my N7 with all f2fs SlimLP. When I try to find the app in the play store it says it's not compatible with my device. However it is compatible with my N5 and N6. Anyone experienced anything similar?
Install in other device.
Backup the apk.
Install here.
Few apps have these compatibility issues.

Losing root in lollipop

Hello all,
I've had my nexus 4 ever since it came out and never faced this problem. Apparently, flashing any Lollipop ROM other than CM12.1 causes me to lose root. I would install SuperSU and whenever root access is required, it would prompt me, but no access is gained.
Any idea how to fix this? I want to use AOSP roms too!
Thanks.
Anyone?

When you flash new Rom's, do you do a clean or dirty flash. Do you use a custom kernel?
Thanks for replying. Clean,, always clean flashing. And no I don't use any custom kernels; tho I've tried using them to see if I get root access and it didn't work.

What about if you flash a ROM based on CM? Does that work? If not you could try flashing a factory image and start from scratch. Rooting and stuff again.
CM based ROMs work most of the time. I'll try doing the factory image thing. Do u recommend I try anything else?

I can't really think of anything but it is possible some of the more knowledgeable members here at xda have som other suggestions.
This seems like a really strange problem with a clean flash with SuperSU. The only thing I can think of is that root access is being granted too slowly. Have you tried any of the ROM's built-in root apps?
