Has anyone been able to get the Motorola voice commands to work on cyanogen mod? I've tried setting as a system app but that doesn't seem to work.

Is it possible to make the droid 2 a wifi hotspot without rooting it. There are a few apps in the marketplace that are free, but will i get charged my verizon for using them?
There is a Mobile 3G Hotspot app included on stock D2, but you will be charged extra for using it. The free Wireless Tether app requires root.

The marketplace has a tether app, not by verizon, just some custom app....would i be charged for using this?
Look up 'easy tether' or 'pdanet' on the market. Neither require root and both are free.

Is there anyway to get Google Voice search to trigger on a verbal command rather than S Voice?
I have also been searching for this! I'm sure I had an app a few years ago on my HTC that allowed me to map an app/setting to the hardware button. For the life of me I can't remember what it was.
Can anybody help

I'm using Home Shortcut2 to remap my home button. Now a double tap brings up Google voice search.

I know that the SD800 has always on voice activation built into the chip. Does anyone know if that is enabled in this phone or if it's just automatically there? The demos I saw used "Hey Snapdragon" as the voice command. I would love this feature.
I know that LG has their own voice assistant but what I'm talking about is the "always on" voice activation ala the Moto x. If not is that something that can be activated by a clever programmer on XDA?

No need for the bump, and there is already a thread open about this.
