there are a lot on ebay, if you want in person that is a diff thing.
But even i found a lot of buyers in person
i would have jumped on the kaiser as well if tmobile had there 3g act together, but im going to be skiping it i guess, until 3g is set in stone and something like the kaiser comes out with vga, reason for vga is that its really great for browsering from what i saw qvga vs vga... it does likee pretty damn cool, i also want some more beef on the cpu and esp gpu, i feel that kaiser is just a little bit of a step up and not worth the upgrade, for that price tag, if doing a contract and getting a great deal then yes or if having a lot of money burning in your pocket that or if your job req the use of pocketPC/pda heavily then ya of course you want the latest and greatest

i also used craigslist.org great site for local buy/sell etc... you can also use some other forums... im not sure if were allowed to post other PPC/PDA forums here? but there is a big popular one as well that has a buy/sell forum... which i think is a must... because you get to know ppl here and would trust a times them more so then a random person on ebay or so.

i've upgraded to the TOUCH HD, and want to leave my Uni to someone that could benefit.
the way i figure it, i've loved it since i had 3 years ago and if it wasn't for the hard work of the cookers who cracked the updates and even WinMo6, i would have been a lot less happy.
they're very responsible for a lot of the productivity and fun i've had along the way, which i've payed forward. now this is a little direct payback .
The forum members have been great support too, and this community has been a constant source that fuels the evolution of our Uni's.
Included is :
1) HTC Universal G3 (very good condition)
2) 2gb SD card
3) USB to Mini-USB (for data and charging)
4) Tomal's 8.2 ROM (excellent)
5) 2 stylus' (replacement for the original i wore out!)
6) replacement battery (bought 2008, 1600MaH. original wore out)

I'd like it to go to one of the cookers that may need an new/extra Uni for testing, so that it can help with their efforts in supporting the rest of the Uni lovers here.
if there are no takers from any of the cookers, i will happily leave it to anyone else that wants it
now, how do you get it? simple.

well i believe the small amount of money i could sell it for on Ebay (a few hundred dollars AU) and how i could invest that much money, compared to some that can actually use a free device for the greater good is no comparison for me.
there's an Ebay sale HERE where the person has a great offer for a complete Uni with accessories, for a reasonable price.
seriously the value of a few hundred bucks means little to me compared to the value of the device in the best hands.
think of it like:
*giving $300 to a starving stranded man on an island.....or giving him a $50 picnic hamper.
*or, a wealthy person giving $10 to someone in need, compared to a poor person giving $10 to someone even more in need.
there are many energy forms of value, depends who you're relating to and how. that much money in my life isn't worth much, those devices in other lives could mean a lot.
So there's no loss for me, i've already gained enormously from the device and i already have a replacement. i have an efficient upgrade.
someone can benefit a free device/s and gain enormously. an efficient upgrade too.

i'm glad there are people wanting the Nokia, i thought it would be difficult to find interest as it is a phone that not many people liked when it came out.

Put it in bootloader mode. You can see small note at the bottom of the screen, if it starts from 1, then its G3. If it starts from 2, then its G4.

Ordered my Nexus One Today

I'm so excited I just ordered mine today, I also have a Cliq made my Motorola...I wouldn't advise anyone to buy one...Motorola can't even update the thing until 3 months later, it still has major issues...Can't answer calls, constantly droping calls and all that crapola Blur integrated with it..So I order my nexus today.. I feel like i just bought a Lexus....lol but I'm happy any comments on the phone? bugs? anything i should know when getting it? Because I did some research and haven't found anything crazy, seems google is keeping it updated and fixing everything it can on the spot.

Congrats, you're gonna' LOVE the phone.
I ordered mine on day one and haven't had any problems with it at all.
I installed 'Better Keyboard' because the only thing lacking, for me, on this phone was the keyboard.. although it's not THAT bad.
Over the past year I've had the Palm Pre, HTC Hero, iPhone 3Gs and the Nexus One.
The Nexus One is by FAR my favorite device.

Keyboard wise:
Install HTC IME (available on this forum) or Swype(also availbale on here). Both are free and far better then stock. Neither requires root or shouldnt.

So there isn't any lagging when using the nexus? Such as when you click a button it takes about 10 seconds for it to respond, or when you type fast it doesn't catch anything?

Is it really necessary to start a whole new thread to tell us that you ordered a nexus? I know its exciting and all getting the phone but it's adds more clutter to the boards that isn't needed.

No seriously what is not needed is your remark. This is a board it thrives on the amount of posts/threads created.
wikipedia message boards/online communities and you will maybe gain some knowledge about how this kind of stuff works.
To the O.P you will love this phone. I went from iphone 3g to the g1, to palm pre, mytouch 3g to this and it is by far the best phone I have ever had the pleasure in dealing with.

I had mine on the third day after it was released. it had the touchscreen problem. and now i have sent it back for a refund. however, i REALLY love this phone, and am considering ordering a new one again. so, here comes my concern.

Congrats...I took the plunge and ordered one today too.

In the UK, after import duty, import VAT and DHL's charge for the privilege of them submitting your N1 to customs (yeah they charge for that too!) the N1 costs ~£490 (~$760US) ...a little too steep for me!
I pre-ordered my HTC Desire 2 days ago from clove.co.uk for £430. Roll on April!

I have a Desire HD in mint condition! Only used for 5 months!
Now in my country it costs 440$ new without warranty!
I bought it used for 4 months (i.e. a month ago) only with warranty for 440$, so now there remains 7 months of warranty!
I have an opportunity to sell it with the warranty and it's cover and screen protection for 480$!
Now A new SGS2 here in my country costs now 650$ without warranty!
I have an opportunity to buy a used one for 1 week only, still in mint condition for 580$!
So should i sell the DHD for 480$ and pay 100$ to get that SGS2!?!?
What would you do?!?
PS: I'm a bit hesitant only about the user interface... I like and i'm used to the Sense and Touchwiz doesn't have a good feedback...

You're not restricted to TouchWiz. I'm not keen on that myself and have both the SGS2 and a Galaxy Tab. Have a play with some of the other launchers available on the market to see if you'd be happy to move from Sense to them. In fairness, there's not much in it except the widgets that each launcher specifically has.
I'd strongly recommend trying Go Launcher, Launcher Pro and ADW Launcher. They're just my recommendations - there's others available.
If you decide you can work with one of the other launchers then DEFINITELY get the phone. You really won't regret it!
The DHD is a great phone, but the SGS2 is the greatest*!
*at the time of writing

go for the SGS2,,,,there is no other handset that can be compared to this beast,yet,,,and if u dont like touchwiz,,get some other launcher,,,,Launcher Pro is my fav...but of course u have alot of other choices.....just check the handset before buying if it is in a good condition and that it has no dead pixels,,,,
u can check that by Samsung's test menu(*#1234#) cuz i dont know why would some1 want to sell this phone...

Let me ask you some questions about the SGS2/touchwiz, these are my main concerns:
-What about facebook and twitter integration in the contacts, sms and all the system... Is it close to what sense gives you?!
-Does it have smart dialing?!?
-Can you "colorize" a bit the user interface?! I mean contacts and the call screen look so colorless, like black only... I know that sense is not that big issue but it gives u effects and colors along with some beautiful widgets and apps (friendstream, HTC hub...)

He said that he has a MAC at home and that SGS2 doesn't have a good connection features with MAC (sync or other...) and he showed me his iPhone 4 to prove me that he just bought it instead of the SGS2 and he wants to sell it!

Yes mate - I had a HD2 as well and was quite active on the forums because they were so busy!

I've got full integration of Facebook and Twitter into my contacts list, so I really can't complain there.
Smart dialing works about 90% as well as any smart dialing I've seen. The only difference is that if you type "john" then it will bring up all the people who's name begins with "john". Other dialers I've seen would also bring up names that contain "john". That's the only negative thing I've seen about it though.
To change the user interface, you can either go off the modding threads here or use one of the launchers that has themeing (theming?) or skinning included. I use Go Launcher and there's tons of themes available for that. You just download them and apply them in the launcher preferences.
I'd say that most launchers are more configurable than Sense, so I really don't think you're going to miss much. With the extra speed and loveliness that comes with the SGS2 I can't see any reason not to do it!

Why are you wasting time again. Go to SGS2. You will regret why you delayed so much, eating time with HD2. I'm a shop owner.The number of people that bought this phone because they saw it with me is incredible. They are now asking themselves how possible is it that they never knew about the SGS2. One even refused to let people touch his phone because he was afraid others may not handle it carefully. Thats the love we found with this beast. Get going mate....

btw the new touchwiz on the s2 is not bad, in fact it's very good, you will not love it, but it will do what it is supposed to do without the lag.

Problem is as posted on this forum multiple times HTC owners buy a phone without Sense then repeatedly ask for Sense on the forum .
Might be that as a Sense user you have difficulty with another like TW .
I would check the phone out in your hand first as to how you would cope if you where Senseless .

Ok guys so i'very checked the S2 that I'm willing to buy and found out that I can live with some minor issues like yellowish tints and such stuff.
After that I cleared ny mind about hardware issues, software issues pop again!
I've been reading a bit about battery performance and the Android OS battery consumption issue!
Is it bad on all devices?! I've read that it might be related to WiFi and that is critical to me!
I am connected to WiFi always at home!
Please guys I need some feedback!

Hi I'm from the 5x forums and would like some advice from 6p owners.ive got the chance to get a 6p in immaculate condition boxed 32gb model it did suffer from blod but it's had its battery and motherboard replaced under warranty so it's new inside.would you buy it for £150 or should I put my money to a different device

Best phone i ever had.
I just love my 6p. It's not perfect (butperfect phone doesn't exist). I had very small issue with battery (but after almost 2 years and it was replaced for free). But except that... it's a great phone.
Camera is veeery good. My GF has iPhone 6 and she always ask me to make a photo, cause my camera is just much better. Size is great. You need to used to it, but for gaming, videos, web browsing = great.
It's very fast, and for me, it looks great. Also pure android and quick updates, but you know that, since you're 5x user.
I recommend it for sure.

Stock is always best. No bugs. You can mod to your heart's content after unlocking and rooting. I have sense 9.5 launcher mod, viper and Dolby Atmos and a bunch of Xposed modules running and always on display. There's a face unlock Xposed module that works amazingly fast. All phones in one. That's how I'd describe my 6p. Lol.

Using it for 2 years and I still don't see a reason to upgrade.
The only thing that bothered me is the battery but after replacing it I enjoy every bit of the device.
